Meaning

About 76 years long back I was studying in Second standard. It was the period of 1946, I still remember the poem which I have read:
AASHWEEIJA SHUDDHA MAANAVAMI BARALENDU
BAALAKARU HARASUVEVU SAALAAGI NINTU

For complete nine days and nine nights we light the Nandaadeepas of Ghee and Oil continuously in front of our Kulaswami – the Kulaswami of our Adhidaiva Mantralaya Yatiraat Gururaat Sri Raghavendrateertharu with devotion, pure heart and mind. Purity is the main feature of this festival. The Pooja room is filled with the bliss of Nandadeepas and also the fragrance.A series of celebrations one after the other. Really a sort of spontaneity satisfaction and peaceful joy we feel. Sri Saraswatheepooja, Durgashtami, MahaNavami and Vijayadashami. On the day of Vijayadashami our Kulaguru Sri Hanuma – Sri Bheemasena - Sri MannMadharyararu our great Acharya Sri Anandateertha Bhagavatpadacharya Jayanthi! The remembrances of divine culture. The main motto is to acquire the love, affection and the Anugraha of our Sri Harisarvottama.

Automatically we make efforts for achievement and Manukuloddhaara. Here our food, rest and sleep are minor! Always caring about our food, rest and sleep leads to selfish nature. It will be like the birds and the creatures. Because under any circumstances they search for food and start eating. Eating will be the main thing to them. If we act like this, we are not developing our building our personality of human values. Put our sincere efforts towards the throbbing of our heart’s feeling of kind concern , love and affection. Should not think and indulge pertaining to our regular timely food, rest, sleep. There are other things in life rather than this. So we have to put our sincere and prompt efforts towards the welfare and the happiness of our family, children, kith and kin. This is the highest achievement of finest values in life. When the festivals come children simply rejoice and dance as everyday several dishes are available. to them. The elders are involved in worshipping, offering of Tulasi, flowers, Alankara, Naivedya, Vaishwadeva and Hastodaka, performing Paaraayana of Aadityapurana, Bhavishyottara Purana of Sri Venkatesha Mahatmye, Mantrapushpochchaarana.
