Sri Raghavendravijayada Shlokave Pratyaksha Saakshi

Sri Krishnabhattaru the great grandfather of Sri Venkatanatharu(Sri Raghavendrateertharu) was the head of the Gurupeethha of Hampi Vijayanagara Empire and taught Gaandhrva Veena Vaana to the Emperor Sri Krishnadevaraya. Highly pleased towards Guru Sri Krishnabhattaru, gave Raajaashraya, honoured and presented gold, silver, pearls, emeralds, silk shawls and presented wet and drylands. The greatest honour of Hagalu Deevatige leading his guru in the broad daylight with the Deevatige - light. Holding the most prestigious post lived with all comforts in Hampi. It is a great record in our Indian history Sri Kanakachalabhattaru the only son of Sri Krishnabhattaru left Hampi owing to the enemies invasion and reached Kumbhakonam along with his wife Laxmidevi and son Sri Timmannabhattaru.

It is quite interesting to know that Sri Vijayeendrateertharu and Sri Kanakachalabhattaru were the fast friends and claasmates studied under the able Guru Sri Vyasarajateertharu! Our Rayaru in Purvaavataara as Sri Vyasarajaru was the Kulaguru Rajaguru of Chakravarti Sri Krishnadevaraya! Avoided the KUHAYOGA adorning the seat of the emperor Sri Krishnadevaraya. Such is the Mahima of Gurupeethha. Sri Vyasarajaru shined and shined establishing the universities became the Chancellor and the Vice Chancellor! Sri Kanakachalabhattaru received a warm welcome by Sri Surendrateertharu and Sri Vijayeendrateertharu. A great scholar, Orator, expert and efficient in music and Veena. Completely dedicated in the progress and the betterment of Vidyamatha’s Vidyapeethha. Knowing the extraordinary ability of Sri Kanakalachaabhattaru Sri Vijayeendrateertharu sent Kanakalachalabhaataru along with his wife Laxmidevamma to establish the full - fledged Vidyapeethha in the Kaveri town. Provided all the infrastructure and the necessary facilities to Vidyapeethha and the arrangenments of Sri Kanakachalabhattaru’s residence in the Kaveri town. Sri Vijayeendrateertharu said let Timmannabhatta be in Kumbhakonam only I will take care and teach him. New place, new environment soon became familiar and thus engaged himself fully in the development of Vidyapeethha. Sri Kanakachalabhattaru, the grandfather of Sri Venkatanatharu with his towering personality of abundant knowledge and the Sadaachaara of Gouthamagotra became the pioneer of our Vidyapeethha of Vidyamatha Mantralaya Rayaramatha. Sri Timmannabhattaru became very dear, near and affectionate to Sri Surendrateertharu and Sri Vijayeendrateertharu. Rayaru’s purvashrama father, grandfather, great grandfather are all the born teachers. From the period of Sri Vijayeendrateerthraru Sri Sudheendrateertharu and our Adhidaiva Sri Raghavendrateertharu continued the same development Vidyapeetha became the center of our Vidyamatha Mantralaya Sri Raghavendraswamijee’s Rayaramatha
