Background
The routine of the forty five days of
Chaaturmaasa and the concluding day are described in Mantralaya(80).
Meaning
Bhaadrapada Shukla Ananta Chaturdashi
and Ananta Pournima the Pooja of Sri Hari and the observance of several
Vratas will make the Satvikas Cheerful and delight. The daily routine to
acquire Sanctity we require the Blessings of Sri Hari. The Pontiffs will
stay in one place and engage in Pooja-Upaasaana and the Propagation of
religious ideas and thoughts widely, During Chaaturmaasa as the pontiffs
stay in one place they will be close and near to the Devotees-Sajjanas-Satvikas
imparting the good and the noble ideas.
Morning Pontiffs go to their
houses for Paada Pooja during this forty five days accept their offerings,
perform Mangalarati to their Pooja Box(Devara Pettige), distribute Phala
Mantrakshatae to the Devotees. We are fortunate to have all this. For this
Chaaturmaasa elaborate preparations,collections of funds in cash and kind
will be undertaken by the
Chaaturmaasa Samiti.Sri Hari Pooja
in the afternoon every day in of Devotees. Different houses of Devotees
and Anna Santarpana will be arranged. Evening lectures Pravachana- discussions
and upholding of Sri Hari Sarvottama and Sri Vayu Jeevottama. Night Cradle
Function(Tottilu Seva) to Sri Hari and Samarpana of all the Sevas including
Sacchhaastra and Sangeeta. Thus the Dwaita Yatis during Chaaturmaasa have
all these programmes and busy schedule all accessible to the Devotees.
Anna Brahma-Gnyaana Brahma-Naada Brahma:
these three noble tasks are all arranged properly by the pontiffs in accordance
with the philosophy of Sri Madacharya. Though the actual Chaaturmaasa concludes
on Kaarteeka Shuddha Dwadashi that is. Utthhaana Dwaadashi,Yatis conclude
on Ananta Pournima . Rains will come to level,they do not wish to
stay long and slowly move to the other place.The Pontiffs luster and Bliss(Teja-Ooja)
are all agreeable to Sri Hari.
On this auspicious day the Satvikas
feel that all the works of Sri Madacharyaru, Malkhed Sri Jaiteertharu,Mantralaya
Sri Rayaru are to be made available in all the Indian languages and especially
in English too.So that the Satvikas beyond the sea can also avail. I pray
to Sri Hari to inspire Prerana to our Dwaita Pontiffs to take up this great
task. The Tatvas of Sri Madacharya,the writings of Teekarayaru,Mantralaya
Rayaru are to be translated into English, then only the observance and
the Festival of Chaaturmaasa will be sane, wise, meaningful and fruitful.
