I was afraid and disappointed.My father
and mother worried a lot about the order of the university,that Maths was
compulsory for Arts students.My mother immediately remembered Rayaru and
Mantralaya.Prayed with intense devotion to RAYARU for the removal of Maths
as compulsory for Arts Faculty.My mother made sankalpa to observe fasting(UPAVAASA)
FOR FIVE Guruvaara (Thursday).Rayaru was pleased for Bhakti and Devotion.After
two Guruvaara a special notification came from the Karnatak University
Dharwad that Arts students can offer World History instead of Maths-if
they desire;and this concession is only for 1958-59 and from 1959-60 Maths
will be compulsory for the Arts
Faculty.
My joy and my parents happiness knew
no bonds.With tears in my eyes I Bowed to GuruRaya and my mother.My mother
had staunch Faith,Belief and Devotion towards Rayaru.Rayaru Listened Her
Request and Sanctioned.So Kalpavraksha and Kamadhenu.My mother
used to place Rayara photo at her
head where ever she sleeps.Always Telling Mantralaya Ajjappa,This was the
Essence of my Mother’s life and Achieved All by Rayaru including HER MUTTAIDE
SAAVU(to die before husband).With all these Blessings of Rayaru my mother
lead me to to the path of progress and victory.
As per Sankalpa my mother concluded
all the Five Guruvaaras and on the sixth Guruvaara with Hastodaka
she stopped her UPAVAASA.
The option of World History instead
of Maths only for 1958-59 was nothing but Rayara
Pavaada-Mahime-Miracle.
