Ashtaksharee Mantra is the Pranava Mantra Japa of our Paramahamsaru. Always engaged in hundreds, thousands, lakhs, crores and crores. This is the Sadhana and the Siddhi of our Mantralaya Sri Raghavendrateertha Gurusarvabhoumaru. Even to today the Japa of Rayaru is in progress in Mantralaya, below the Bhavya Divya Neela Brindavana.

Beautifully described in Bhaagavata Saptama Skanda the Adbhuta Avataara of Sri Hari as Sri Narasimhadevaru. Hirannyakashyapu asked his son Prahlada is your Hari is in this Pillar ? Prahlada replied yes. Sri Hari is everywhere ANURENUTRUNAKAASHTHHA PARIPURNA  SARVATRA. Sri Hari clarified to the whole world  that what my dear devotee has said is true.  So to make the wordings of  Sri Prahladarajaru true  Sri Hari appeared from the Pillar that too amidst  thick gathered  royal court during Pradoshakaala twilight time neither animal nor man  Sri Narasimha Roopa and proved to the world that I am in every where Sadaa Sarvatra.  Such is the devotion of our Mantralaya Rayaru in Prahladaavataara  We are completely Surrendered to our Sri Raghavendrateertha Mantralaya Prabhu.

Our Mangalakara ( auspicious). Mantralaya is situated on the sacred bank of Tungabhadra, which is equal to the Sarayu river of Ayodhyaa. The  high waves of Tungabhadra are forceful and beautiful All the holy Brahmins and Acharyas are residing in the most sacred and  famous Mantralaya.

Here below the Bhavya Divya Neela Brindavana our Adhidaiva Sri Raghavendrateertha Gurusarvabhoumaru is residing and performing the Akhanda Deergha Japa of Sri Hari to Bless us and protect us. Rayaru is Deergha Japarataru

Meaning

Many devotees of Mantralaya asked me what is the meaning of Paryaaya !  Our Udupi Ashta Matha Paramahamsaru once in two years the turn of taking the charge of  Pooja  Worshipping Sri Manthhaana Krishna celebration is PARYAAYA !  This is all for the sake of  welfare of all the devotees of this universe. The celebration's grandeur, devotion and joy are quite amazing. Lakhs and lakhs of devotees gather to witness the sworn in ceremony of Pooja Kainkarya of  Manthhana Sri Krishna(KADAGOLA KRISHNA). The whole ceremony is the symbol of Samarpana in the interest of welfare of all (Lokahita). At this juncture we remember the two great incidents in Udupi situated on the bank of the ocean(KADALATEERADA UDUPI).

This is the fifth  PARYAAYA of Pejawar Sri Vishwaeshateertharu. A record and the devotees gathering, meticulous arrangements to all the devotees to be recorded in golden letters. 

One is of our Kulaguru Sri Madhwacharyaru's greatness and the Sakshaatkaara of Paramatma Sri Hari. To bless the world devotees Swami  came all the way from Dwaraka to the port of Malpe. Acharya Sri Madhwaru saved miraculously the drowning ship, the ship authorities said Swamiji you ask anything ! We are ready to offer you as you have saved the lives of many and also the whole ship from the drowning. Acharyaru asked only a log of Gopichanda, they said to balance the load of the ship, we have kept this log of mud, please ask something valuable. Sri Madhwacharyaru clearly said do not want anything except the log of Gopichandana. Aparokshagnyani Sri Acharya Came to know that in the log of this Gopichandana Sri Manthhana Krishna is hidden. At the end of Krishnavatara Rukmineedevi safely kept this Saaligraama Shila idol of Swami Sri Krishna  in her own garden Rukminee garden. So with joy, devotion  and affection took the log and separated Manthhana Krishna from the log of Gopichandana, from Malpe to Udupi Sri Anandateertharu himself carried the idol performing the pathhana of Dwadasha stotra and installed in Udupi. So Kadagola Sri Krishna - for daily pooja seva eight swami is and Ashtamathas came into existence, This is of great importance. To Bless us Vayudevaravataari Sri Hanuma - Sri Bheema -Sri Madhwacharyaru did the noble task. We are greatly indebted to our Kulaguru Sri Anandateertha Bhagavatpadaru.

Secondly our Sri Raghavendrateertharu during the chaaturmaasya deeksha in Udupi attained the Saakshaat Pratyaksha Darshana of  Sri Krishna. Always listened the soothing effect of divine flute. In a way Swami Baalagopala Sri krishna played hide and seek game with our Rayaru. Rayaru placed an oreder of Manthhana Krishna Pratima of gold in Udupi and worshipped with utmost devotion and engaged in Granthha Rachana.

During the Chaaturmaasa at Udupi Rayaru placed an order to make the gold Pratima of Manthhaana Sri Krishna. Worshipped with utmost devotion. By the Upaasana of  Krishna Manthhanakara Krishna all the Yantras of Sarvasiddi - Santaana and Bheeti Yantras etc. are made Abhimantrana and Siddhi is filled by Rayaru's Mruttika. The same tradition is continued by all the Peethhadhipatis even today.

Devotees who are in the Seva of the lotus feet of Rayaru, always engaged in the realm of Stotra Pathhana, Mahima and completely digested, the mere Darshana will burn the evil effects Paapas. Just as the wild fire soon burns the thick forest. The power - mahima  is quite amazing. Such Mantralaya Rayaru's devotees are amongst us even today. Lucky and fortunate to be with them. In Bangalore Smt. Jayalakshmi Amma belongs to this category Popularly known as Ulsoor Amma. Ulsoor Amma is the founder, the main trustee, president and the centre of  all the meticulous development and devotional activities by the prerana and the Anugraha of Sri Raghavendrateertha Gurusarvabhoumaru. Let me describe the details about our Ulsoor Amma. It is quite heartening to know that ourAshtamatha  Udupi Pejawara Sri Vishwashateertha Swamiji made the Naamakarana as Ulsoor Amma to our greatest devotee Smt. Jayalakshmi Amma. So it had become popular, familiar to the whole world. She is the greatest devotee like Bichali Japadakatti Sri Appanacharyaru -Sondur Sri Krishnavadhootaru and Ibharamapura Appavaru. Such is the calliber, devotion and very dear to our Mantralaya Rayaru. Right from her childhood always looked special, not like ordinary. A Divine Chetana. In the house about 60 years back her parents visited Mantralaya along with her. Started the Seva of Sri Raghavendrateertharu in the morning and the evening after taking the holy dip in Tungabhadra. The parents requested the Archakas and took the Paadodaka Prokshana Seva ticket for one week, thinking that as she is talking strange things. Actually the divine power divinity started developing da by day. By the power and the Mahima of Rayaru's Abhisheka Paadodaka prokshana the divine power was still charged much more from that day itself.

Always remembering and murmuring Mantralaya Om Sri Raghavendraya Namaha. As she  grew the devotion, firm faith and strong belief in Rayaru also grew. As soon as she looks a person, without knowing anything, she is able to tell the past, present and the future. A Kind heart always responding to the society, Manukuloddhaara. Responds affectionately.Today Ulsoor Amma is a senior citizen, All the Swamijis of all the Mathas like her, they visit Vidyaranyapura Matha interact affectionately with Ulsoor Amma is always in the satsanga of such chetanas, satvika, aastika sajjanas and devotees. Looking at all these things we feel that Amma is the centre of Mahaan Shakti Sphurti Kendra.

Ulsoor Amma spends most of the time in Vidyaranyapura Rayara Matha. Amma is always with the devotees. Always a big gathering to meet her, take her blessings and kind suggestions.
