Motakpalli is a small village situated in Taluka Sedam,Dist. Gulbarga(Karnataka state-India). About 40 miles from Gulbarga.The Famous Temple of Hanuman is amidst the green of paddy fields,full of water surroundings every where. The tender care of Mother Nature is clearly visible. Hanumantha Devaru Hanumappa is the Worshipping God(Aaraadhya Daiva) to all the people of Motakpalli.
Motakpalli Hanuman is popular as Bala Bheemasena Devaru.The temple was built long back and it is pretty old of more than 600 years. There is Praakaara around the temple and Phoulis(residential verandahas),exhibit our Sanaatana Samskruti (old culture) and old philosophic ideas,Puraatana Tatvas.In front of Praana Devaru there is Garudagamba-Dhwajastambha. Outside the temple there is a beautiful Pushkarani always full of water in all the seasons.

the Greatness of the Motakpalli Hanumantha Devaru and we simply do
Saashtaanga to the Divinity.All the surrounding villagers pray him and
ask VARA regarding rains,crops,all their domestic and social aspects.After
praying to Sri Hanuman with Bhakti,the Devotees expect the offer(fall)
of flowers.Flowers
falling right side of
the Hanuman indicates that their work will be done.The left side fall indicates
that their work will not done.
The Great Gnyaani(Dheemanta) Hanumantha
is the Avataara of Hanuma-Bheema-Madhwa is depicted on the walls of the
temple,deep rooted in the soil of
Motakpalli and in the hearts of the
people.Pooja,Alankara,Naivedya,Mangalarati and Sacchastra are all as per
our Madhwa Tradition and Taaratamya. The Herditary Archakas family is residing
in the temple through centuries and performing the Pooja of Sri Hanumantha
Devaru. Archakasya Tapobalam we can find there. Among them since 25 Years
the Archaka by name Sri Rangacharya is in Malkhed performing the
Sacred Pooja of Sri Jaiteertharu with Devotion, Sanctity and Purity.
Sri Hanumantha Devaru Murty(statue) got damaged. The people of Motakpalli and the Archakas thought of a new statue and received also. They were planning for the Pratishtaapana. Sri Bala Bheemasena Devaru appeared in the dream of the Archakas and said: Do not replace me. Look there is Saaligraama in the Naabhi(umbilicus).I will be here only and thus made it clear that He is Rama Bhakta Hanumantha and Sri Madacharya, Satvikas have believed and continued the Pooja. The new Statue is outside the GARBHAGUDI.
Hostila Hunnime is the Rathotsava(Jaatra) of Motakpalli Sri Hanumantha Devaru. Karteeka Deepostava,Madhwa Navami are all the prime attractions of this temple.
