The grandeur of Karteeka Deepotsava, Go Vatsa Pooja, GODAANA GORAKSHANA PREMA in Mantralaya is really heart touching. It is heartening to describe that the devotees residing in America arrived Mantralaya to perform the Japa and the Homa of Sri Raghavendra Ashtaksharee, and thus participate in all the Seva Kainkarya of Sri Raghavendrateertha Gurusarvabhoumaru in Mantralaya. What more is required than this to clarify the devotion of the devotees who are away, far away from Mantralaya.

Beautifully described in Bhaagavata Saptama Skanda the Adbhuta Avataara of Sri Hari as Sri Narasimhadevaru. Sri Hari took Narahari Roopa as per the boon of Hirannyakashyapu and fulfilled all the conditions of the boon. Hirannyakashyapu asked his son Prahlada is your Hari is in this Pillar ? Prahlada replied yes. Sri Hari is everywhere ANURENUTRUNAKAASHTHHA PARIPURNA SARVATRA. Sri Hari clarified to the whole world that what my dear devotee has said is true. So to make the wordings of  Sri Prahladarajaru true Sri Hari appeared from the Pillar that too amidst thick gathered royal court during Pradoshakaala twilight time neither animal nor man. Sri Narasimha Roopa and proved to the world that I am in every where Sadaa Sarvatra.  Such is the devotion of our Mantralaya Rayaru in Prahladaavataara  We are completely Surrendered to our Sri Raghavendrateertha Mantralaya Prabhu.

Whatever may be the obstacles to the Devotees, what ever may be the quantum or the quality of the diseases Mantralaya Rayaru will burn that like a wildfire.  As our Gururayaru is like an ocean of Amruta and the mountain of Knowledge. Ready to root out the miseries, diseases and the disappointments.Immediately Rayaru will fulfill the Desire of the Devotees.

Meaning

We are amazed to the abundant affection, kind heart and the power of Anugraha  of our Mantralaya Sri Raghavendrateertha Gurusarvabhoumaru. We are immensely blessed and I feel that it is a great boon to Manukula. It is not possible to describe in writing the Mahima of our Rayaru.

MAHIMEGALA VIVARANEGE BARAVANIGE SAALADU !

Mantralaya Sri Raghavendrateertha Gurusarvabhoumaru greatly blessed Diwan Venkanna, Bichali Japadakatti Sri Appanacharyaru in all the births and accepted the humble Seva of  Janmantara Seva. Cowherd Venkanna was on his daily routine looking after the cows in the forest. Fortunately Rayaru was passing through the sanchaara along with the paraphernalia of the Matha. It so happened that as soon as Venkanna saw Rayaru immediately came near and fell on the lotus feet of Rayaru and completely surrendered to Rayaru with devotion.  With tears Venkanna told that he is completely illiterate - AKSHARA SHATRU and poor, please protect me, help me. Rayaru said Venkanna DO NOT AFRAID ! REMEMBER ME WHEN YOU ARE IN TROUBLE. After a few days Venkanna was with his cows in the forest. The Nawab of Adoni Siddi Masoodkhan was on a joy hunting in the forest. Immediately a soldier came and got down from the horse, with great respect and regard handed a letter to the Nawab. Siddi Masoodkhan looked here and there but could not find any one except the cowherd Venkanna. Immediately called him. Handed over the letter and asked him to read loudly. Owing to the illiteracy Venkanna said I cannot read this letter. If you do not read this letter, I  will kill you ! Saying this took the swaord in his hand. Venkanna really afraid of seeing him. Immediately Remembered the wordings of Sri Raghavendrateertharu: DO NOT AFRAID ! REMEMBER ME WHEN YOU ARE IN TROUBLE

With devotion uttered OM SRI RAGHAVENDRAYA NAMAHA, as soon as he uttered the name of Rayaru Venkanna was able to read that letter which was written in Arabic. It was the great good news that Nawab's soldiers where they have invaded, attained victory and returning with all wealth and gold. Nawab was extremely happy to hear this auspicious. When you are reporting such an auspicious good news, why are you looking after the cows. Come to Adoni, I will get a suitable work in the palace. From that Venkanna started the service of Adoni Nawab. With the Anugraha of Rayaru Venkanna was able to read and write and adorned the highest place as the Diwan of Adoni.

Even today the same devotional remembrance and surrendering to Mantralaya Rayaru is in practice and vogue by our Mantralaya devotees. Now I wish to share that Mahima. Always the devotees of Rayaru, during the examination time, at the time of  question distribution they receive the question papers remembering Mantralaya Rayaru and pronouncing OM SRI RAGHAVENDRAYA NAMAHA silently in the heart, then only they read the questions and start writing the answers. All the Mantralaya devotees are following this holy, sacred and siddhi formula. A devotee who was studying in the First Year of B.A. went to the examination hall. Followed the above sutra. Remembered Rayaru with devotion OM SRI RAGHAVENDRAYA NAMAHA read the question paper. What he has prepared the same topics questions in the question paper. 3 Hours time, he has answer 5 questions. Happily started writing hurriedly one by one so that the time should fall short. At the time of writing the answers the pages of notes which he has prepared were completely visible to his inward eyes including the page no. This is the power and the Miracle - Mahima of OM SRI RAGHAVENDRAYA NAMAHA Within two hours the devotee completed the answering of 5 questions. He asked the invigilator what is the time. He said still one hour is left, two hours have passed. Hearing this the devotee read all the answers what all he has written. Written well, but the hand writing was not attractive. In those days only the legible answers the examiners used to evaluate. So worried a lot about writing hastily. So in that remaing one hour he read all the answers what all he has written and corrected properly. But in his heart he was always thinking about his writing for that particular paper. To next similar exams asking the time now and then adjusted the time properly. One more draw back was that they never had a wrist watch in their hands.

After the examination the devotee's worrying grew gradually. Daily morning and evening  performed the chanting of SRI RAGHAVENDRA GURUSTOTRA, prayed to Rayaru. This continued till the results were published. The day of the result also came. In those days Karnatak University exams were published in all the leading news papers. Samyukta Karnataka was the first paper to reach, it used to come by Madras Bombay mail. So all were going to the railway station to get the paper and to see the results. The devotee also made all the preparations to go. Before going he chanted the Gurustotra with devotion. At the completion of the Stotra the devotee experienced the Paadodaka Prokshana on him. Two big drops on his head and body. Mantralaya Rayaru made Samprokshana (sprinkled) of Teerthha and said do not worry ! I am with you always !  Informed the same to his loving parents. They felt happy and Blessed him. Went to the railway station on his bicycle, took the paper and saw the result. He was passed in First Class. The joy knew no bonds ! Many Mantralaya devotees are practically experienced and experiencing even today. For the sake of us Rayaru is Baddha Padmasanasthharu in Mantralaya below the Bhavya Divya Neela Brindavana performing the Deergha Akhanda Japa of Sri Hari Sri Narayana.
