During this sacred Adhikamaasa it is quite appropriate to know the Mahima of Chakra:

Vrushabhaasura daily worshipped Sri Narasimha Saaligraama with great devotion. At the time of offering flowers, with a sword he used to cut off his head and offer to Sri Hari. Again the head his body after the Pooja, He did like this continuously for five thousand years. He also performed Ugra Tapa. Swami Sri Hari became pratyaksha. Asked Vrushuba what Boon - Vara do you want, what ever you ask I will fulfill. Vrushabhaasura said, I wish to fight with you ! Why that I will impart even Moksha. But Vrushabha desired only this and nothing more.

Acharya Sri Madhwacharyaru described beautifully. TVAT CHAKRENA PRATATASTU MUKTIREVA NA SAMSHAYAHA.

Vrushabha thought that Swami will definitely give Mukti. At the time of fighting with Narayana will definitely kill him with Chakra. The mere touch of Chakra of Saakshaat Vishnu Vrushabha will definitely acquire Moksha Mukti. So Vrushabhaasura desired the fighting Vara - Boon with Sri Narayana. At that time Sri Vishnu will use Sudarshana Chakra on Vrushabhaasura. So that he will get the direct touch of Swami's Chakra and Mukti is sure and certain. This hill Venkatachala is also called as Vrushabhaachala owing to this incident of devotion.

We are amazed to the Upaasana of Udupi Sri Krishna of our Mantralaya Rayaru.As soon as we enter the main door of Matha left and right we see Rayaru and Sri Krishna Blessing affectionately. We forget our present world and float altogether in a different world DIVINE LOKA :

During the Chaaturmaasa at Udupi Rayaru placed an order to make the gold Pratima of Manthhaana Sri Krishna. Worshipped with utmost devotion.
