Tulasee Kaananam Yatra  Vasanti Vaishanavaaha  Tatra Sannhito Harihi.

Mantralaya Sri Raghavendrateertha Bhaktaaha Apekshati Tat Punyaparisaram.

Where there are thick Tulasi plants,  Sadaachaara Satvikas - Vaishnavaas reside there. Even our Sri Hari also likes too much and the Sannidhaana of Sri Hari is rich.  Our Mantralaya devotees always like that sort of Punya and Siddhi Parisara. Sri Hari inspite of all the decoration of flowers and grandeur likes Tulasi, said in Bhaagavata:

Ekena Tulasi Maatra Dalenaapi Narottamaha
Poojayet Bhakti Bhaavena Tam Rakshaami Iti Mat Panaha

Sri Hari has promised that those who worship with devotion  and offer even a Tulasi Dala  I will always protect them. So Bhakti counts more. Such Sri Hari Bhakti is at its highest in our Paramahamasacharyaru of  Sri Hamsanaamaka Paramatma’s Sakshaat Parampara of Sri ManMadhwacharyaru’s Moola MahaSamsthhaana Dwaita Peetha - Mantralaya Rayara Matha - Vidya Matha.

So, I have appeal to you all  to grow more Tulasi.

Mantralaya Rayaru is very fond of such a sacred Tulasi. Rayara Mruttik is extracted from the garden of Tulasi in Mantralaya just behind the Matha, very near on the way of Tungabhadra.

Meaning

We are highly fortunate and grateful that Sri Pandit Narayanacharyaru, the poorvashrama nephew, son of Sri Venkatanatharu’s sister elder in age Venkatamba and Madhurai Chaturveda Vidwan Sri Laxminarasimhacharyaru’s son Sri Narayanacharya is the author of this meticulous Mahakavya SRI RAGHAVENDRA VIJAYA.

Asmat Guroonaam Aadhikyam Kavihi Kovaa Anuvarnayet, Our Guru Adhidaiva Mantralaya Sri Raghavendrateertharu is so great and extraordinary that it is not fully possible to describe anybody in this universe.
Tathhaapi Tat Prasadena Bhaktya Kinchit Vadaamyaham, But even then I am going to describe something about our Rayaru with devotion by the Paramaanugraha of Sri Raghavendrateertha Gurusarvabhoumaru.

These are the wordings of Pandit Sri Narayanacharyaru about the profound and immense knowledge of Sri Raghavendrateertha Gurusarvabhoumaru.

This Granthha is a great asset to the devotees of Mantralaya. This great Mahakavya is translated into English by Sri Gururajacharya Bheemasenacharya Joshi, a high school teacher, a true devotee of Mantralaya Rayaru, frequently visiting Mantralaya, done the great job to the world devotees. Hats off to this masterpiece.

He was none but the father of great Hindustani Singer Pandit Sri Bheemasena Joshi, devotee of Sri Raghavendrateertharu. Earth is round, in one way or the other all are connected to Mantralaya, devotees of  Sri Raghavendrateertha Guruvaryaru, It is my fortune that when I was 16 years old, I saw Sri B.G. Joshi in Mantralaya along with my father some 56 years back. A scholar, sajjana, satvika interacting with a smile .It is quite interesting that Bharata Ratna Pandit Sri Bheemasena Joshi did Sankalpa Seva in Mantralaya and acquired the Anugraha of Rayaru. Owing to certain factors, his Guru Savaayi Gandharva sent him away from his Gurukula in the middle of Sangeeta Paathha. The thirst and the taste of Sangeeta was at its in heart, so without a second thought decided to go to Mantralaya and the very next day Bheemasena Joshi was in Mantralaya, started Sankalpa Seva, YathhaShakti Pradakshina, Namaskara, singing the songs of our Rayaru composed by our Dasarus with complete involvement. His Seva was too devotional  nd completely Surrendered to the lotus feet of Rayaru. Used to forget the whole world at the time of singing, so much of ecstasy about our Rayaru. At the time of his Seva we can say a musical fete of  devotional songs , as per the will and wish of Rayaru.

Manvi Sri Jagannathadasara : Yaake Mooka Naadyo Guruve

Singing melodiously gained efficiency and proficiency in Kiraana - Gharaana, trached Naadaloka and it appears that all the Gods showered flowers in Mantralaya Kshetra.Rayaru though engaged in Deergha Akhanda Japa of Sri Hari, listened the spontaneous overflow of Sangeeta Jhenkaara of his devotee, felt happy and decided to Bless him. As already we are fully aware that Sri Raghavendrateertharu is a great lover of Sangeeta. In playing Veena no one excelled Rayaru so far. Sangeeta Priyaru is our Rayaru. Rayaru pleased with the Seva. That night Rayaru appeared in the dream of Bheemasena  Joshi, Said, tomorrow only you leave Mantralaya and go to your Guru Savaayi Gandharva. He will welcome you, accept you as his shishya and complete the Sangeeta Paathha. Gave Mantrakshate, Sugar candy, with a Blessing hand bade farewell with smile. All happened in its own accord as per the Mahima of Mantralaya Rayaru.

I share this incident that all the stalwarts are all the devotees of Mantralaya Rayaru. Yativarenya along with Japa, timely uddhaara of all the devotees is in progress even to this day. Here I wish to stress that  the feeling of Drudha Bhakti  has to come from family, by our father and forefathers. Bheemasena Joshi’s father and his father were all the great devotees of Mantrlaya Rayaru. That has continued through generations and enjoying the fruits. That is Naijabhakti - Real Bhakti.

All the noble qualities have to come through the family, as a legacy we have to carry and inherit to flourish and prosper in our life and inculcate the same to the next generation, so the Values are continued. In Kannada there is a saying:

HIRIYA NAAGANA NANJU MARIYA NAAGAN PAALU
TANDE MAADIDA PUNYA KULADAPUNYA

With all simplicity and humbly say at this juncture that this Mantralaya Series Seva Punya is not my achievement, it is of my father and fathers. In those days when means of conveyance was not proper, at that time my grandfather did the Yaatra of Kasi, Tirupati, Hampi, Mantralaya etc. My father during the period of H.H. Sri Suyameendrateertharu  ATTENDED the Aaradhana every year. My uncle was also great devotee of Rayaru, All that great Punya has inspired and impelled the Seva Bhaagya of Mantralaya Series today. The total credit goes to them.

Let me share the importance of Seva devotees after coming to Mantralaya as per their convenience and schedule choose the seva  after taking  the holy dip in Tungabhadra,  for 1 day,3days,5days,7days,14days,21days,42 days,48days,etc. along with the Pradakshina Saashtaanga Namaskara of 108,54,28,5,10, 14  and YATHHAA SHAKTI. Take the holy dip in Tungabhadra, During Pradakshina we have to perform Saashtaanga Namaskara on eight directions, so that our Shirasaashttanga Namaskara will reach to:

Sri Narahari, Sri Rama, Sri Krishna, Sri Vedavyasaru, Sri Vayudevaru, Sri Jaiteertharu,
Sri Raghavendrateertharu and Sri Vadeendrateertharu.

Dear devotees let us not bother much about the numbers and the days of Seva, Our Bhakti and complete surrender are most important.

Thus we are Blessed. We find only in Mantralaya this sort of arrangement, as our Mantralaya Rayaru has taken up the Lokoddhaara Karya on a large scale. No devotee is left out of Karunaadrushti. All are covered, cared and benefited. Though the Lpkoddhaara is on a large scale, the single attention of Rayaru is really praise worthy. So Pradakshina Namaskara Seva means we are fully surrendered. All our eight Indriyas will bow down, appeal with love, pray to lift up from all the difficulties. At that time our pride and prejudices will be curbed down automatically. whole heartedly we confess, we pray. The Gurustotra Pathhana those who do not know this Om Sri Raghavendraya Namaha will be pronouncing during the Seva. Urulu Seva also is one among such sevas.
