Meaning

Dear devotees it is a very difficult task to describe the Divine personality of our Gururaat Yatiraat Mantralaya Sri Raghavendrateertharu as it is multi faced and manifold. What our Manvi Sri Jagannathadasaru has said is perfectly right:

Pandit Sri Narayanacharyaru the purvashrama nephew of Sri Raghavendrateertharu, direct Shishyaru, a great scholar, Sudha Parinataru, ChaturvedavPanditaru, son of Venkatamaba (Purvashrama Rayaru’elder sister) and Sri Lakshminarasimhacharyaru a great Panditottamaru of Madhurai, Mahakavi the author of Sri Raghavendra Vijaya has beautifully described about the great ability of Sri Raghavendrateertharu:

Our Guru Adhidaiva Mantralaya Sri Raghavendrateertharu is so great and extraordinary that it is not fully possible to describe anybody in this universe.

But even then I am going to describe something about our Rayaru with devotion by the Paramaanugraha of Sri Raghavendrateertha Gurusarvabhoumaru.

Tathhaapi Tat Prasadena Bhaktya Kinchit Vadaamyaham

Devotees are already aware that Sri Raghavendrateertharu studied in the Vidyapeethha of Guru Sri Sudheendrateertharu in Kumbhakonam in Purvashrama Sri Venkatanathacharya. During that period , daily what all the thoughts flashed, inspired and pondered about the day to day lessons, Venkatanatharu wrote down with appropriate meaning and definition to all the points. It was consuming lot of time and Venkatanatharu had no proper arrangements and facilities to live and study. During the late hours of night Venkatanatharu wrote the commentary in the light of dried leaves flame. Not even oil lamp at that time. Some how Sri Sudheendrateertharu came to know while taking the rounds in the night. Signs of burnt leaves ash appeared here and there in the shila mantapa which was about to fall. Went near along with his shishya, Shishya Venkatanathacharya was in deep slumber, shivering with the cold. Kind Sri Sudheendrateertharu simply pitied, took out his valuable warm Sheshavastra and covered on Venkatanatharu’s body with  love and affection. But did not forget to carry the Granthha of Venkatabhattaru which was by his side. Amazed to read the statements about Sudha. The difficult shlokas which were to be clarified in the next lesson were all satisfactorily answered there. Felt proud about his dear shishya. Next day in the class described in detail with joy and happiness about the appropriate meaning of the difficult shlokas of Sudha to all the classmates.

Sri Sudheendrateertharu Praised with affection and conferred the title for the valuable write up as PARIMALA as per the will and wish of Venkatabhattaru and gave the title to his beloved shishya as PARIMALACHARYA. The most valuable Granthha to the readers of Sri Jayateertha Teekakrutpadaru’s SRI MANN NYAAYASUDHA. It is quite heartening that Venisompura Sri Vyasatatvagnyateertharu impressed a lot towards Sudha, what all doubts arise in Sudha were all meticulously answered in PARIMALA by Rayaru. Simply surrendered and became Samarpita to our Mantralaya Rayaru. Venisompura Sri Vyasatatvagnyateertharu took Sanyasa by the 26th. Pontiff of our Vidya Matha Sri Bhuvanendrateertharu and became a BIDI SANYASI and stayed in Venisompura as per the request of the king of Gadwal and guided him. King was a great Patron of Sri Vyaasatatvagnyateertharu - Parama Bhakta.

Our Kulaguru Sri Anandateertha Bhagavatpadacharyaru in Geeta Taatparya Nirnaya has described in the shloka about the qualities of Pratibhaanvitaru:

Ashruta Pratibhaa Yasya Shruti Smrutya Virodhinee
Vishrutaa Nrushu Jaatam Cha Tam Vidyaat Deva Sattatamam

Those who agree to the teachings of Shruti Smruti and are able to describe, clarify the Shastraarthha properly without reading and unheard are none but Devottamaru, a God in the form of a human being, with a divine soul. Our Mantralaya Sri Raghavendrateertharu belongs to this category. Rayaru is the highest peak of Imagination like the Mount Everest of Himalaya. PRATIBHEYA MERU OUR GURURAYARU.

Bichali Japadakatti Sri Appanacharyaru has described in Gurustotra is true. Rayaru kind sober satvika punya murty reserved his Pratibhaa and Paanditya to convey and proclaim Sri Harisarvottamtava and Sri Vayujeevottamatva to the whole world through the 47 Granthhas. Very satisfactorily performed the SAARASWATA SEVA. One should have the punya of Purva Janma to understand properly the greatness of each sentence of each Granthha. On one of the occasion Sri Sudheendrateertharu amazed :

Once during purvashrama Sri Venkatanathacharyaru accompanied to Rajamannaragudi with his Guru Sri Sudheendrateertharu. After the Darshana of Sri Krishnaswami, in the premises of the temple Venkatabhattaru saw a big gathering. A Sanyasi was addressing the audience and said there is no difference between Jeeva and Brahma. Immediately Venkatanathacharyaru asked where is the proof - show me. How do you rectify with Pramaanas. Then a Pandit stood and said as this world is false, so Jeeva can become with Brahma. At once Venkatabhattaru reacted shouting KINCHAATAHA ! It means what have you gained by saying this? Show me Pramaanas. They could not reply, they became silent. he other Pandit said we have never heard the word KINCHAATAHA.

Then Venkatanatharu said it seems you do not have proper knowledge about Vyakarana and Mahabhaashya. With several instances and sentences, examples of Mahabhaashya and Vyakarana Venkatanathacharyaru proved the prayoga of KINCHAATAHA. The pandits and the sanyasis did not continue the debate, they became silent, the audience simply praised about the young scholar, that young scholar was none but our Mantralaya Rayaru in Purvashrama as Sri Venkatanathacharyaru. Practically witnessed Guruvarenya Sri Sudheendrateertharu amazed to know the deep knowledge of Grammar and Mahabhaashya felt quite happy, with praise there only conferred the title to his beloved Shishya MAHABHAASHYACHARYA. PARIMALACHARYA was already conferred. Now this MAHABHAASHYACHARYA is one more by Guru Sri Sudheendrateertharu. It is heartening to know the efficiency  - proficiency - paripakva  parinati of our Guru Mantralaya Sri  Rayaru in PURVA MEEMAASE and UTTARA MEEMAAMSE.When Bichali Japadakatti Appanarya came to know is Rayaru is engaged in Deergha Akhanda Japa of Sri Hari below the Bhavya Divya Neela Brindavana in Mantralaya on the bank of Tungabhadra, the first idea flashed to Appanarya was who is the next expert of our PURVAMEEMASA and UTTARAMEEMASA. With deep sorrow and devotional ecstasy through Aashukavitva started pronouncing GURUSTOTRA while crossing the river Tungabhadra to reach Manchali from Bichali.

Our Rayaru’s Granthha Seva Ganga will reach and join the Madhwa Mata Ksheera Samudra. Rayaru is efficient and wellk versed in PURVA MEEMAAMSA and UTTARAMEEMASA comfortably swims like a Swan in the abundant waves. Here we find the double meaning:  Paramahamsaru Swamiji comfortably describes the abundant meanings and the essence of both the MEEMAAMSAS.  Rayaru’s Sri Hari Pooja Punya, Granthha Seva, Pratibha  and Paanditya are all for our Manukuloddhaara. We are completely Surrender to our Mantralaya Rayaru with affection and devotion and always remember and remind the Blessing Shloka of Sri Sudheendrateertharu to our Adhidaiva Mantralaya Sri Raghavendrateertha Gurusarvabhoumaru.

Pontiff Sri Sudheendrateertharu Sri Rudramsha Avataari  Sri Jitamitrateertharavatari  is highly appreciable and important.  You ( Sri RaghavendraTeertharu) will be a great Tapaswee of Maanasapooja like our 14th. Paramahamsaru Sri Surendrateertharu, earn name and fame like our 15th. Swamiji Sri Vijayeendrateertharu. You will always be Victorious and winner in the debate - Vaadasangara like me. All these great qualities will be nourished, cherished and flourished by you. Blessed whole heartedly  by Guruvarenya is the Paramaanugraha to our Mantralaya Sri Raghavendrateertha Gurusarvabhoumaru.

So dear devotees one birth is not sufficient to describe about our Rayaru. In Mantralaya Series I am just saying the very first sentence of the preface of our Rayaru’s Divine Personality. It is just like a poor man is given entry to a room where abundant money, gold and wealth is full. When he is asked to take away all, he will be confused and in a dilemma what to take and what not take ? The same situation will be to a devotee while describing about our Mantralaya Rayaru.
