Our Sacred Hampi is very dear to our Mantralaya devotees. It is  nothing but Dakshina Kasi. We are amazed to know the Dwaitacharya Adwaitacharya Samanvaya is in Hampi, The remnant of rich culture, the socio-economic and political scenario is clearly visible even now after centuries and centuries. Hampi is surrounded by the Sacred Tungabhadra river and the famous and the holy five mountains.

Sri Kodandaramaswami and Sri Yantroddhaarakarau are in Maatanga Parvata. The famous Shila Mantapa of Sri Purandara Mantapa was constructed by Sri Krishnadevaraya in those days for Sri Purandaradasaru to perform the Japa Japa Mantapa, where thousands can sit for Japa. Very adjacent Tungabhadra river. VARAHAJATANAYE flowing very  forcefully  here with pure water. Very profound and immense silence is found here. Our Devarshi Sri Naaraddaravatari Sri Purandaradasaru was very fond of this place in Hampi. This is situated near the Temple of Sri Vijayavithaladevaru.

So our Sri Vyasarajaru described as

TUNGAMBODHI TARANGASYA VAATENA PARISHONHITAE.

The rich greenery of  Mango, paddy and bananas the series of  mountains are all the attractions of mother nature in Hampi.

Meaning

We are still in the world of Sri Raghavendra Saptaaha and Gurubhakti Utsava of Mantralaya. The musical fete of NAADAHAARA NINAADA is echoing in Mantralaya Tungabhadra Tata Sangeeta Priya Sri Raghavendrateertha Govindaa Govinda. We are in the Seva and Pooja of  Mantralaya Prabho.

You are very famous and poular as Prasiddha Karuna Nidhe, JUST BY remembering you we are definitely blessed. Right now I am worshipping you as per my knowledge and ability. Please be affectionate to me bless me. Sri Krishnavadhootaru has praised.We pray Rayaru for our Uddhaara. Rayaru’s devotees are all Avataara Chetanas.The Punya of Januma Janumas carried and brought forwarded. Again took shelter at the Tungeyangala Mantralaya and blossomed fully and spread the fragrance of Bhakti Mahime of Sri Raghavendrateertha Gurusarvabhoumaru by these devotees continuously. We are fully aware that Rayaru is BHAKTAANUGRAHA PREMI. In this worldly life without our knowledge, most of the times we give importance to petty things and ask our Rayaru to fulfill them. In the same way our Bichali Japadakatti Sri Appanacharya though a great Scholar Chaturveda Pandita did not respond properly to accept Paramahamsa Padavi and to become his successor of Vidya Matha. Plainly Appanarya replied that he still wants to enjoy the worldly life of women, Sevana of tobacco, Nishiddha Padaarthha such as brinjal,onions,garlic and three times food.Sthhitapragnya Rayaru  said Tathhaastu and kept quiet. Later called his poorvashrama  brother Sri Gururajacharya’s grandson Venkannacharya and made him as his successor and named as Sri Yogeendrateertharu. Handed over the entire charge of  Matha and decided to sit for Deergha Akhanda Japa on Shraavana Bahula Bidige practically followed Manudharma and Yatidharma below the Bhavya Divya Neela Brindavana in Mantralaya.

Appanarya was senior in age to Rayaru. So fulfilled the desires in the next Januma and made the Uddhaara in many ways. Born as Lachamari Benakappa, enjoyed three times full meals, did not observe Madi Mailige etc. But Rayaru is too kind without giving Darshana and talk entered Brindavana, so always offered Darshana when ever Lachamari Benakaapa called and solved the problems of the devotees. This went on for several years and the matter reached to our 26th. Paramahamsaru Sri Bhuvanendrateertharu. Swamiji called Benakappa take me to Rayaru and get the Darshana. Benakappa said yes. Swamiji got the Darshana of Rayara Sheshavastra while entering the Brindavana after finishing the Snaana Aahneeka. Again in the next Januma born in Karajagi Deshpande family as Dasappa. Lived with pomp and show. Mustaches long hair, though married to Gundamma enjoyed with a prostitute, spending most of the time there only. A tall horse always riding. Just to please that prostitute gave all the gold - silver and wealth to her.

Mantralaya Rayaru watched all this carefully and at last decided to free him from this vicious circle and perform his Uddhaara and told to Cheekalaparavi Sri Vijayadasaru Uttanooru Sri Gopaladasaru Manvi Sri Jagannathadasaru and Sri Praneshadasaru. Our man is completely busy in the worldly life. Awaken him go to Karajagi said Rayaru. As per the saying Sri Jagannathadasaru and Sri Praneshadasaru both went to Karajagi and reached the home of Dasappa. Stayed in Dasappa’s house Performed the Pooja Naivedya and arranged Bhajan in the evening. Wife Gundamma said Dasara Bhajan is in the evening so please attend. Dasappa said yes. Attended the evening Bhajan sat in front of Praneshavithaladararu. As usual without any formal Prayer

Started with this song. By hearing this Dasappa reminded his previous janumas. Repented a lot for requesting such petty things to fulfill. It is quite surprising to all of us why Appanarya asked such things to Rayaru though a Paramabhakta Gnyani.All the happenings in life and janumas came as flashback to his mind and heart. Repented a lot ! It is important to note that Rayaru has wakened Appanarya and fulfilled what all he desired?

Next day early morning Sri Jagannathadasaru and Sri Praneshadasaru amazed to see Dasappa. Removed his mustches and long hair, with gopichandana Tripundra dhaarana requested both the Dasaru’s to Bless him Dasa Deeksha.Named as Shrredavithaladasaru along with Ankita by Sri Jagannathadasaru. Acquired the Anugraha of Rayaru and shined among the devotees of  Mantralaya Rayaru. The very next Januma was Kosigi Swamiraya Acharya. Became Sri GuruJagannathadasaru by the Paramaanugraha of  Rayaru, became a great Gnyani.

Thus it is quite interesting to know that how Rayaru fulfilled the Desires of his devotees and at the same time the way in which he made Uddhaara is a great model a great Miracle   to the whole world. We are amazed to know the ripening of devotion towards Sri Hari Vayu GuruMadhwaru of our Mantralaya Rayaru cannot be excelled by any one. At this juncture I wish to share a great Miracle of 54 years back which I have seened with own eyes. A dumb, born dumb of Nidagundi after visiting several experts reached the conclusion that he will never get the power of speech in his life time. As a last resort he came to Mantralaya and started the Seva. At that time Sri Suyameendrateertharu was our Peethhadhipati, Sri VenkataRaghavendracharyaru was in charge of Mantralaya to gear up the activities and the developments at Mantralaya, later as Sri Sujayeendrateertharu became the architect of Mantralaya and took the Matha to the mode of multiple developments in Mantralaya. This Nidagundi dumb boy was sincerely serving in the  atha right from morning Abhisheka to Tottilu Seva. Sincerely with devotion he performed the Seva for ten years and finally he attained the power of speech. His joy knew no bonds. Returned to Nidagundi with Phala Mantrakshate later he got married.
