The Avatara of  Sri Narahari Rama Krishna Vedavyas  Parama Bhakta Aapta Mantralaya Sri Raghavendrateertharu is for the Uddhaara of the devotees. Our Yatiraataru has won the anger, all the Arishadvargas - Kama Krodha Dwesha Mada Moha Matsara  right from His birth. So Rayaru is Jitendriyaru. Won all the Durvadees.

Vasant Pooja has already begun. Juice prepared with boiled mango and lemonv- Paanaka, Wet Dal of moong and chana - Bele Kosambari and providing cold drinking water to the satvikas and the sajjanas, as a protection against the summer heat and acquire Punya. In those days Prapaadana was in force. For four months cool drinking water centers were opened  in all the places and who so ever feels thirsty will be offered water freely. In kannada we callvas ARAVATIGE :

This drinking water arrangement Prapeya - Aravatige is very common and  fine to all. By this act our Pitru Devatas and all the Gods are pleased. Now in these days this is not possible, so it is better to offer  Daana to an able Brahmin -  Satpatree a brass or copper pot filled with water.( Koda - Bindige). We say as Udakumbha Daana. If it is not possible at least who so ever approaches cold drinking water, Please give a bottle of cold water with affection and acquire the Punya of PRAPAADANA DURING THIS Chaitra - Vaishaakha.

Sri Raghavendrateertha Gurusarvabhoumaru's  abundant Bhakti towards Sri Hari is described in the 9th Shloka of Sri Krishnachaaritramajaree and though engaged in Akhanda Deergha Japa Guhanatarnivesha, the way in which Rayaru responded  to the Stotra Raja of Bichali Japadakatti Sri Appanarya are described in Mantrlaya(510).


Meaning

Sri Krishnavatara's  Mahimas the greatness of Sri Hari one after the other are described by Mantralaya Sri Raghavendrateertharu in Sri Krishnachaaritramanjari  meticulously that too in the most precise and the concise form .Devotees please look at the  9th. Shloka

The whole incident is written in half a line. Our Yatiraataru is highly Pratibhavantaru. An Asura Shankhachooda by name became very powerful owing to the Boon of Rudradevaru used only for troubling others. Once Sri Krishna Paramatma played the flute Venu melodiously, all the Gopikas simply forgotten the whole world, completely involved in listening the Venunaada of Swami. At that moment Shankhachooda appeared and frightened the Gopikas of Gokula. They were in a hypnotized mood, forgotten their status, dress etc. Sri Krishna was actually waiting for such an opportunity to kill and killed him and took out the Mani which was in the head of Shankhachooda and gave it affectionately  to his elder brother Balarama. The extraordinary literary qualities of Perfection and efficiency of Mantralya Sri Raghavendrateertharu are beautifully mentioned in the Mangalashtaka by Bichali Japadakatti Sri Appanacharyaru:

Sri Krishnachaaritramanjari for the convenient of Nitya Paaraayana of all the devotees Sri Raghavendrateertharu composed in the most concise form of 29 Shlokas. All that noble task of Rayaru yielding fruits to all of us today in the form of Sarva Siddhi yantra etc. The immense knowledge of concise and vast is a boon to Rayaru by the Goddess of learning Sri Sharadadevi. Januma Janumas sadhana  punya and siddhi have combined together in Sri Raghavendra Avatara and it nothing but an Akshayapatre of Uddhaara to the devotees. Though Rayaru distributing  the punya to the devotees liberally and magnanimously ,daily increasing abundantly. Rayaru is offering everything all the pooja, seva, alankara to Sri Hari with Samarpanabhaava. We are really amazed. We are the Devotees of such a Mahaan Yatiraat, we are in the Seva of Rayaru and getting everything time to time what all we require in our life.

At this phase Appanacharyaru could not control the grief of His Guru's Separation, could not spell out and continue the stotra, simply fell in front of Rayara Brindavana and became unconscious, Rayaru completed the Stotra prouncing SAAKSHEEHAYASTOTRAHI. Rayaru said listened all the 33 Shlokas from the beginning. Though Sri Raghavendrateertharu is engaged in Deergha Akhanda Japa of Sri Hari, carefully with all seriousness listened the shlokas of Stotraraja and said Sri Hayagreevadevaru is a witness for this famous Gurustotra.At that time Rayaru was performing the Japa of Sri Hayavadanaroopi Sri Hari and as seal of Sri Hari uttered sitting below the Brindavana  SAAKSHEEHAYASTOTRAHI. This is the Testimony of Bichali Japadakatti Sri Appanacharyaru's intense bhakti parama bhakti Nishthhe.

So Gurustotra is world famous as STOTRARAJA.
