Sri Hari has promised that those who worship with devotion and offer even a Tulasi Dala I will always protect them. So Bhakti counts more. Such Sri Hari Bhakti is at its highest in our Paramahamasacharyaru of  Sri Hamsanaamaka Paramatma’s Sakshaat Parampara of Sri ManMadhwacharyaru’s Moola MahaSamsthhaana Dwaita Peetha Vidya Mutt.

As a Mantra the world devotees are chanting the name of Sri Raghavendrateertharu with devotion. By doing this the devotees acquire the Anugraha of our Mantralaya Rayaru and all the miseries and the sorrows will be vanished soon. Swami Guru Raghavendra will make everything favourable and comfort in all the spheres of our family life.

The greatness of  Sri Surendrateertharu -  Mahaan Tapasvi Maanasa Pooja Parinataru, the 14th. Pontiff of our Vidya Mutt and the sacred record of Seventy years as Peethhadhipati of our Vidya Mutt are described in Mantralaya(494).

Meaning

Mantralaya Devotees are undertaking Paada Yaatra. Paada Yaatra means to go by walk from their residing place to Mantralaya. It will take a few days as per the distance. A group of devotees with zeal and devotion undertake the Yaatra by halting. Maintain the Sanctity of the Seva. Surrender completely to  Mantralaya Sri Raghavendrateertharu, Kaaya - Vaachaa - Manasaa that too with strong faith and belief. Karunaalu Guruvarenya Mantralaya Yatiraat Gururaat Sri Raghavendrateertharu is sitting below the Brindavana to protect us. Manchale Ajjapaa has not given up his body Deha Tyaaga. By the Anugraha of Vayudevaru Rayaru is quite comfortable, always taking care and blessing.

The meaning of this Shloka of SRI RAGHAVENDRATANTRA by the greatest Devotee Sri Krishnavadhhotaru is that our kind Sri Raghavendrateertha Gurusarvabhoumaru will always protect and take care everywhere  and in all our undertakings. In the  morning and in the day time, in the night and in the evening and the afternoon, during our sleep and awake  - Jaagruti and Sushupti. In all our works and always protect us. Where ever we are the Sannidhaana of Mantralaya Gururayaru will be present and help to the maximum extent to those devotees who are surrendered completely to our Mantralaya Yatiraat Sri Raghavendrateertha Gurusarvabhoumaru with firm faith and constant belief. Rayaru listens the call of the devotees carefully and affectionately.

This is a great credibility to Sri Surendrateertharu contemporary of Sri Vyasarajateertharu Aparokshagnyani, Maanasapooja  Parinata Paramahamsaru, Always seeing Sri Hari and worshipping Sri MoolaRamadevaru with inward eyes. The multifarious personality  was full of divinity and Bliss of extraordinary features which helped to the growth of our Dwaita Siddhanta.

Hats off to Sri Surendrateertharu of Vidya Mutt. Worshipped Sri MoolaRamadevaru for Seventy years. It is a great record in the history of our Dwaitacharyaru. During the time of Sanchara Sri Surendrateertharu came to Anegundi and landed on the sacred island of river Tungabhadra (Now Navrundavana) delighted to see a wide and spacious rocky bed. Took a holy dip in Tungabhdra.  Desired to perform the Pooja of Sri MoolaRamadevaru there only amidst the immense and profound silence, the peak of mountain Kishkindha, the vast green of paddy and long coconut trees enhanced the beauty of Nature by leaps and bounds. At that time Aliya Ramaraya visited our Swamiji. Then asked to Sri Vyasarajaru, the saint who is performing the pooja does he belong to the parampara of Sri Vidyanidhi or to the parampara of Sri Vibudhendrateertharu.Kula Guru Sri Vyasarajaru said that this pontiff is Sri Surendrateertharu, Sri MoolaRama Archakaru, Aparokshagnyani belongs to Sri Vibudhendrateertha Parampara. Had come to Hampi as per the Snkalpa of Sri Hari.  It is highly auspicious to the Vijayanagara Empire. Then Sri Krishnadevaraya the emperor of Karnataka himself came to Sri Surendrateertharu along with Rajaguru Sri Vyasarajaru and invited Sri Surendrateertharu to Hampi. Welcomed with all royal honour, made all arrangements  and requested to camp by the side of the Tulasi garden on the bank of Tungabhadra. It was the Golden Age - Golden Period of Karnataka.

Sri Surendrateertharu as usual woke up. The morning atmosphere and environment was so pleasing and soothing that Swamiji simply forgot the world. Simply took a holy dip in the pure water of Tungabhadra and entered the Tulasi garden.

The beautiful Rama Tulasi and Krishna Tulasi simply attracted Sri Surendrateertharu. Manasapooja Parinataru offered the entire Tulasi of the garden to Sri MoolaRamadevaru and performed the Pooja mentally.

Next the shishyas of Sri Vyasarajaru entered the Tulasi garden and collected Tulasi for the pooja of Sri Vyasarajaru and offered. Sri Vyasarajaru also a great Gnyani Mahaan Aparokshagnyani  immediately said why you have brought the used one. Nirmaalya. The shishya replied it is too fresh, just now I have brought from the garden. Sri Vyasarajau said, you see Maanasapooja Bhakta Sri Surendrateertharu is camping in Hampi. Early in the morning after seeing the rich and abundant fresh Tulasi after taking a holy dip offered the whole garden’s Tulasi to Sri MoolaRamadevaru.

So bring the fresh from the other side for the pooja. All were amazed to know the greatness of Sri Surendrateertharu and Sri Vyasarajaru. Sri Krishnadevaraya highly impressed to know the Mahaan Siddhi of Sri Surendrateertharu and presented the following villages to the Mutt Vidya Mutt: Lepagiri,  Shirugapura,   Mallapura,   Honnamatti,   Herakallu,  Tolali and  Kammarakatte

Along with all the documents and the deeds. Regarded and respected Swamiji with highest State Honour. It is a record in our Vidya Mutt. Now Sri Vyasarajaru thought that it is the best and the most auspicious time to reveal some true facts which are going to happen shortly in future to Sri Surendrateertharu. Sri Vyasarajaru said Sri Vishnuteertha my shishya is none but Sri Vibudhendrateertharu, who has born in Nagalapura near Hampi with a strong desire to worship Sri MoolaRamadevaru. You have to accept him as your successor and name him as Sri Vijayeendrateertharu. You also have to take a young Vatu Narayanacharya and made the successor of Sri Vijayeendrateertharu and name him   as Sri Sudheendrateertharu. Sri Sudheendrateertharu is none but Sri Jitamitrateertharu born with a strong desire to worship Sri Moola Ramadevaru. Lastly I Vyasarajateertha will take Sri Raghavendra Avatara to perform the Pooja of Sri MoolaRamadevaru.

This is how we are all lucky and fortunate to worship Sri MoolaRamadevaru. As Sri Hari,Laxmidevi,Brahmadeva, Dasharathha, Sri Ramachandra have all worshipped and also by our Sri Madhwacharyaru. By hearing this by Sri Vyasarajaru the joy and the happiness of Sri Surendrateertharu knew no bonds !  Simply uttered with devotional ecstasy that I am the Guru of : SRI VIJAYEENDRA - SRI SUDHEENDRA-SRI RAGHAVENDRA

My life as Paramahamsa is very meaningful Saarthhaka.

So the contribution of Sri Surendrateertharu is immense, abundant and unforgettable. Travelled through out  the length and the breadth of our country, performed Yaatra that too by UPOSHANA UPAVAASA.
