Background

This year again after 33 months Adhika Maasa had come to Bless the Devotees of Mantralaya  to Perform Seva, Vruta Niyama Japa Tapa and to acquire Punya.

The third Shloka of Sri Krishnachaaritramanjari, the Rachana and the Superb Style of Presentation of Bhakti Sri Harisarvottamatva are described in Mantralaya(471).


Meaning


Do not know that how 33 Months have already passed and Adhika Maasa had come this year that too during Chaaturmaasa. Every year for 33 Months we have the privilege of this Sacred Adhikamaasa. Number 33 is significant for this Vruta.

On this Holy Adhikamaasa my sincere Prayer is to Protect the Devotees, fulfill the Desires, make everything favourable. We are all leading the family life, Though we are here away from Mantralaya, day and night, during sleep and awake, the inward eyes always see Tungabhadra Mantralaya and Sri GuruRaghavendraru.

The world is amazed to know the concise form of writing style of our Rayaru, where more than hundreds of pages are not sufficient to describe Rayaru has described that in a Shloka. The grandeur Tunga and Uttunga of  Vimala Pratibha cannot be challenged by others. At the same time too  clear, effective, powerful and attractive. Rayaru says Swami you are Sarvswa - Everything to me, the Krishna Bhakti Paaramya is the Cream of our Guruvarenya's Boon to all of us.

One day mother Yashoda was extracting the butter doing the Manthhana of the curd.At that time Sri Krishna was sitting on the lap of Yashoda and drinking milk.Stana Paana. As the boiling milk was about to overflow, she immediately removed the child from her lap. Sri Krishna became angry towards Yashoda and broke the vessel of the curd, took out the floating butter from the butter milk started eating butter and also gave to the two cats who were also there.

By seeing this Yashoda became furious, she cannot control her anger, in the corner there was a stick she took that one and tried to beat but in vain, Krishna Paramatma ran away. Yashoda brought big ropes to tie Krishna but became insufficient. At last Sri Krishna took pity on his mother and stood near a Varalu (ancient rock manual grinder). A small rope to tie the calf was enough. She  easily tied Sri Krishna and went to attend the household work. Sri Krishna slowly moved from that place along with the tied Varalu and walked the entire Gokula. While going  the Varalu was actually stuck beween the two trees, Krishna forcibly pulled and the two trees fell immediately. Those two trees were not ordinary. They are the sons of Kubera by name Nala Koobara. Sri Hari - Sri Krishna  freed the Curse - Shaapa given by Devarshi Sri Naarada Maharshi. One day the two sons of Kubera were bathing in the Ganga river in Kailasa Parvata without any clothes along with their lovers, Sri Naaradaru saw this and lost his patience and cursed them to become trees. Sri Hari knew this and freed from the curse of Naradaru to Nala Koobararu in Krishnaavatara. At the time of Bala Leela Vinoda only Sri Krishna did great Miracles.

For the sake of the Uddhaara of Nala Koobararu Krishna played this.Yashoda became angry, if she was not angry she could not have tied Sri Krishna. So the whole sequence is completely the Prerana of  Sri Hari. Swami Sarvatra Sarva Vedya. For the sake of Shaapa Vimochana Dushta Shikshe Shishta Rakshana only Sri Hari has taken the Avatara.

Nanda and Yashoda worried a lot, that with heavy load the child has walked the entire Gokula and what an amount of pain and strain Sri Krishna has undergone.They came in search of Krishna and freed from the bandhana of Varalu.

After this Sri Krishna went to Brindavana along with Nandagopa, Upananda and Balarama. There a great task was awaiting Sri Krishna. The sincere sevaka of Kamsa Vatsaasura also followed them. Swami Sri Krishna took his flute and engaged in VENUNAADA. Complete involved in the musical rhythm, all the cows and the calves left eating the green grass, with their open mouths and open ears forgot the world. When this is the fate of the cows and the calves, we cannot imagine the plight of Gopalakas and the Gopis. Became Sammoha to the VENUNAADA OF VENU GOPALASWAMI. This is described beautifully in Bhaagavata. We say as RASAGHATTA OF BHAAGAVATA.

Vatsa Asura was actually waiting for this climax, to fall on Sri Krishna and kill him. Krishna knew and carefully handled the situation. The calf Roopi Asura fell on Swami, IMMEDIATELY Sri Krishna took the back two legs of the calf and threw with all force  on the Kapithha tree. Vatsa Asura took his Nija Roopa and soon died. We are simply amazed to read that how the sequences and the incidents followed one after the other, only for the sake Dushta Shikshe and Shishta Rakshane. The Gokula Punya Bhoomi is highly sacred owing to Sri Krishnaswami's Baala Leela Vinoda and he has walked, lived and enjoyed on the Sacred soil of Gokula. Swami has not forgotten this. As Srinivasa in Tirumala recollected them and thus gave an opportunity to Bakuladevi who was Yashoda in Krishnavataara.

Gods in the Heaven made PUSHPAVRUSHTI on Sri Krishna and praised whole heartedly. All these descriptions are in the most CONCISE FORM by our Rayaru. Such Swami Sri Krishna Protect me Rayaru says. The Vyakhyana is also meticulous by our Shreepadaputra Vidwat Chakra Choodamani  Sri Laxminarayanacharyaru. The Writings of  Mantralaya Sri Raghavendrateertharu are all spontaneous, once a sentence is written never strike off nor changed. Such is the Pratibha and the Paanditya of our Rayaru.
