Background

Meaning

Pannur village is about three and half miles from Cheekalaparavi, Taluka:Manvi,District:Raichur,Karnataka state,India.Cheekalaparavi is the place of our Sri Vijaya Dasaru.Pannur is on the way of Mantralaya situated on the bank of sacred Tungabhadra river.The entire Raichur area is full of devotion and the land of dasaru.The sanctity of Mantralaya Rayaru is directly spread to all these places , it is our Punya and we are really fortunate.

In the Pannur village Tungabhadra canal is watering the wide area.Full of geenary with rich crops of paddy and fertile lands. There Naik lived happily with good cultivation and proper yield.The whole panorama of the canal is nothing but the divine grace of Mother Nature.There were two big hilly stones huge in size were in the fields of Naik.

Naik had a dream for continuously six months.Daily he used to have the Darshana of Monkeys. Monkeys used to play all the instruments including Taala.

At last Naik decided to go to Udupi. Met Phalimaru Swamiji and explained the dream.Swamiji visited Pannur saw the Naik’s fields and also the two big hilly rocks.Swamiji asked to remove and separate the huge two stones.When they were separated with the help of a big crane, they all surprised to see PranaDevaru on one stone and Purandara Dasaru on the other stone.
So beautifully incarnated by the divine blessings as though somebody has carved.It is highly unimaginable to carve.That carving was at the bottom of the rock stones,when removed and lifted from the soil all these were visible. The dreams of Monkeys playing musical instruments all showed and proved fruitful of Prana Devaru and Purandara Dasaru.
