(Second half of the first Shloka of Sri Krishnachaaritramanjari and extraordinary qualities of Granthha Rachana of Rayaru)

Background

On this auspicious Vaishaakha Maasa it is highly Punyakara to remember our Hampi, Kishkindha,Rushyamooka Parvata, Maalyanta Parvata, the Divya Sannidhaana of  Lord Shiva Sri Rudradevaru Hampi Sri Virupaksheshwara, Chakrateerthha Yantroddhaarakaru, Sri Purandara Mantapa, the Brindavanas of Sri Narahariteertharu  the third Pontiff from our Acharya Sri Madhwaru and the Thirteenth Pontiff Sri Raghunandanateertharu and also the Sacred abode of Anegundi Navavrundavana.

Devotees already you are aware that Sri Rama amd Laxmana stayed in a cave at Maalyavanta Parvata in Hampi, the Cave is none but the famous Shambhunatha Cave, as per the request of Sugreeva and Hanumantha, before heading towards Lanka, during Chaaturmaasa worshipped Sri Virupakseshawara daily. While leaving Hampi left his Paadukas to the Bhaktas. Paadukas are with North Indian Sadhus who were present at that time. Now the Sadhu  Parapara is owning and the same Paadukas, now the Paadukas are Jeerna and Sheerna, preserved in the Silver Paadukas frame, It is my Fortunate and the Anugraha of Sri MoolaRamaaradhaka Punya Murty Mantralaya Sri Raghavendrateertharu that Paadukas came to my residence and performed the Pooja, along with the Paadukas of Sri Brahmandaru a great Santa and Ramabhakta on Sunday May 13th.on the auspicious day of  Brahmayoga, The World has Celebrated the Mothers Day. As the Great Devotee of Rayaru Sondur Sri Krishnavadhootaru has said in Sri Raghavendra Tantra:

Mantralaya Sri Raghavendrateertharu is our Mother, Father, Guru, Friend, Relative, Kind to give everything to us. Not only that Rayaru is  Protecting like King taking Care of his Prajaa. Oh ! Raghavendra Gururaat we Devotees are your Children, Please Protect.

North Indian Guru is in the Paaraayana and  the Pathhana of Tulasi Ramayana day in and day out  in Hampi at the abode of Maalyavanta Parvata. Patrons and Devotees have made all the arrangements of food, Shelter etc. in Hampi.

The Name of the cave in Maalyanta Parvata is Shambhunathacave, it is very important to know that Karunaalu Mantralaya Sri Raghavendrateertharu gave Pratyaksha Darshana to Sri Krishnavadhootaru who did intense Tapa for eight years AT THE SAME PLACE WHERE RAM AND LAXMANA STAYED. Rayaru  Blessed, Advised and said that the Avatara of Krishnavadhoota is for SRI RAGHAVENDRA TANTRA.

The description of the second half of the first Shloka of Sri Krishnachaaritramanjari in the concise form and the extraordinary qualities of Granthha Rachana of our Mantralaya Yatiraat - Gururaat Sri Raghavendrateertharu are described in Mantralaya(457).


Meaning

Our Mantralaya Sri Raghavendrateertharu destroys our incurable diseases just the wildfire burns the grass. Each word of our Rayaru is Amruta pertaining to Veda, Shaastra,  Sudha Gnyana  Rayaru is  like an ocean and like a Mandaara Parvata.

Our Mantralaya Sri Raghavendrateertharu is abundantly Blessed by the Goddess of learning Sri Saraswatidevi, Sri Laxmi, Sri Venkateshwaraswami, Sri Vayudevaru and by all the Yatis right from Sri Madhwacharyaru to Sri Sudheendrateertharu. The wide and the vast Vidya Vinaya  Punya Sampanna Gnyana of our Sri GuruRaghavendrateertharu and to the rich vocabulary the World has simply amazed and the world devotees and the Scholars have bowed and nodded their heads. Let us describe the second half of the first shloka:

The Rachana of this Shloka first reminds me the Mangalashtaka Shloka of Bichali Japadakatti Sri Appanacharyaru:

As it is already described that the wide and  the vast Vidya Vinaya Punya Sampanna Gnyana of our Sri GuruRaghavendrateertharu  and to the rich vocabulary the World has simply amazed and the world devotees and the Scholars have bowed and nodded their heads is described with great devotion by the greatest devotee Appanaryaru.

The Rachana of this Shloka reminds the Shloka of Gurugunastavana by our 22nd.Pontiff  Sri Vadeendrateertharu, the Poorvashrama great grandson of our Sri Raghavendrateertha  Gurusarvabhoumaru and the grandson of  Vidwatchakra Choodamani ShreePaadaPutra Sri Laxminarayanacharyaru has meticulously described that how we are today getting the Fruits of Madhwa Siddhanta Shakhee. Signifies the Scholarship, Seva, Bhakti and the Knowldege of our Sri Raghavendrateertharu. This is our Gnyana Vaibhava, the Sampurna and the Paripurna Madhwa Siddhanta Seva of our Mantralaya Rayaru and the Great  Anugraha.

Shishu Vadha Vihita Pootanaa Jafaana

Sri Krishna Paramatma BalaGopala killed Pootana Inspired by Kamsa is now ready to finish off and kill Shakatasura, a Raakshasa by name Shakata.

It is very common and popular in those days to perform the journey in bullock carts and chariots run by horses.Satvikas, Bhaktas and the Sajjanas were going to the Temples and for Yaatraa through these means of transport. Asura Kamsa did not tolerate this as he was   HariDweshi - hating Sri Hari. He asked Shakata to live in the wheels of the cart and the chariots and purposely do accidents and kill the Sober Bhaktas. Sri Krishna knew this and decided to kill Shakataasura. Baala Gopala sat in the Chariot, Shakta felt happy that soon he will kill the child Krishna, on the contrary Sri Krishna tried that Shakata was caught in the wheels and with his feet simply crushed Shakataasura.

Rathha Charanagatam Cha Asura Paadaghaataihi

We bow to Mantralaya Rayaru and perform Saashtanga Namaskara to the Lotus Feet of our Rayaru. So meticulously meaningfully the whole matter. described in a line. The World Devotees are Completely Surrendered to Mantralaya Rayaru and attaing the Anugraha.

Once Yashodadevi feeling the heavy weight of Sri Krishna, sat on the floor and also asked Krishna to sit for a while. Immediately a storm type whirl wind appeared and carried  away the child. Yashoda repented for  her sitting and  allowing the child to sit. The child disappeared soon. Trunaavarta a Rakkasa came in the form of a whirl wind and tried to kill Sri Krishna. Sri Krishna in the open sky Antariksha only pressed the neck of Trunaavarta and brought his end. Most important thing here is that only with the Baala Leela Vinoda Sri Krishna killed many Raakshasas at Gokul.

KSHITIBHAARA HARANA KAARY Completed systematically. Sri Hari is Sarvatra, Sarvatantra Swatantra, Protecting always at each and every step. We must have Firm Faith and Strong Belief in the saying of :

TENA VINAA TRUNAMAPI NA CHALATI

This itself is the Sadaachaara and the Sachhchastra of our Acharya Sri Madhwaru. Several instances appear to our inward eyes and we are amazed to the magnanimity and the voluminous towards the Madhwa Siddhanta Seva of our Mantralaya Rayaru. Before attaining the Sanyasa Granthha Rsachana began right from the student days. Such is the Great Contribution of our Mahaan Chetana of :

Sri Prahlada - Sri Baahleeka - Sri Vyasaraja - Sri Raghavendrateertha Yatiraataru.

Sri Raghavendrateertharu before Sanyasa studied at Kumbhakonam under the able guidance of Guru Sri Sudheendrateertharu. Rayaru was writing notes, detail vyakhyana Vivarana of day to day lessons and studies, that too during the late night hours, in the light of the fire of  dried leaves, no oil lamp, residing in an old building which was in Jeernavasthhe (Muruku Mantapa). Some how one day this came to the Kind  Notice and Affectionate Attention of Guru Sri Sudheendrateertharu. One day Sri Sudheendrateertha Guruvarenya went out night  along with the Deewatige holder to see the Shishyas. All were in deep slumber. But on the other side Muruku Mantapa saw the diminishing flame of dried leaves. There Priya Shishya Venkatanathacharya has just gone to Sleep. Swamiji also found a Granthha of Taaleyole Kattu tied well. Simply took the Granthha and opened the Taaleyole gari and read the latest page. Surprised  to read the beautiful Vyakhyana for a serious  doubt  of Sudha Paathha. That day Sri Sudheendrateertharu did n t explain that and said tomorrow we shall continue. That night Venkatanatharu wrote appropriate Vyakhya to the doubt during the Paathha. The joy of Sri Sudheendrateertharu knew no bonds ! Eyes filled with tears. With lot of inconvenience taking lot of pains for Adhyayana. Every day noted the points systematically and amazed to see the Title PARIMALA. Took pity on Venkatanatharu removed the torn panche and put the Shawl which Swamiji was wearing. Took the Granthha and Sri Sudheendrateertharu returned to the Mutt.

Next day early morning the cold breeze awakened Venkatanatharu, it was already late! Folded the Shawl kept on his with Bhakti, came to Sri Sudheendrateertharu and explained the whole thing and reported that the Granthha disappeared. Swamiji told not worry. Keep the Shawl with you. After finishing Snaana Sandhyavandane come to the Paathha. That day also it was late ! The other students raised objection about Venkatanatharu that every day coming late. Then Swamiji asked anybody has thought of yesterday's point which was left in the middle. No body answered. All were silent. Then Sri Sudheendrateertharu  took the Granthha written by Venkatanatharu and said the doubt, the point is here by explained in detail satisfactorily with appropriate meaning and Praised the Knowledge, Paanditya, Pratibhe of Sri Venkatanathacharyaru , honoured and gave the title to his dear Shishya PARIMALACHARYARU. Showered Affection. The magnanimity of Guruvarya cannot be  described  in words.

Venkatanathacharyaru after attaining the Sanyasa  as Sri Raghavendrateertharu  did the Granthha Rachana as per the Prerana of  Guru Parama Guru Sri Vijayeendrateertharu and Sri Sudheendrateertharu.  A Great Bhaagavata Shiromani Mantralaya Sri Rayaru's Sahitya Seva is full of Kavya Sourabha, Haribhakti and Harisarvottamatva.

In Sri Krishnachaaritramanjari we are amazed to see all this in the Concise form.  Our Lord Sri Krishna Sri Hari has done the Samhaara of Pootani, Shakataasura,Trunaavarta, Such a Great and Kind Sri Krishna is Protecting all of us.
