Background

The Aaradhana of Sri Dheerendrateertharu the 25th. Pontiff of our Hamsanaamaka Paramatma's Saakshat Parampara of Sri Madhwacharyaru Moola Mahasmsthhaana of our Vidya Mutt - Rayara Mutt in Hosaritti on Phaguna Shukla Trayodashi. Celebrated for three days on Dwadashi, Traydashi and Chaturdashi as per the high tradition.

The style of performing the Seva  of the world devotees to our Yatiraat - Gururaat Mantralaya Sri Raghavendrateertharu and the Paramaanugraha, the gratitude of the devotees are described in Mantralaya(447).


Meaning

What our Haridasas have sang in their Padas long back is true and  today we are overwhelmed to look at the meticulous progress of the developmental activities in Mantralaya:Surapanaalayadante Mantralaya

Today Mantralaya almost resembles like the Amaravati of Indra. For the sake of the Devotees Sri Raghavendrateertharu is residing in Mantralaya. Rayaru himself said that for the sake of the Uddhaara of the World Devotees only, that He is residing on the of bank of the sacred Tungabhadra. When our Guru Sri Raghavendrateertharu is there to protect us we need not be afraid of anything.

My dear mother used to sing this song on Rayaru. Even to this day it is echoing in my ears and today that is the Great Gift to me to be in the SEVA of  MANTRALAYA.

The main motto of the Avatara of Shankukarna : Sri Prahlada - Sri Bahleeka - Sri Vyasarajateertha - Sri Rghavendrateertharu
is to benefit the Devotees and to do the Uddhaara through the affectionate Anugraha of Sri Hari. As per the Promise ,today the things are actually happening in Mantralaya. Sitting below the Bhavya Divya Neela Brindavana Rayaru has talked with the Devotees and Blessed. Among them Bichali Japadakatti Sri Appanacharya, Lachamari Benakappa, Krishnavadhootaru, Ibharamapura Appavaru, Kosigi Sri Swamirayacharya - popularly called as Sri GuruJagannathadasaru, Surpur Sri Anandadasaru, Hereditary Archakaru Poojya Sri Vedavyasacharyaru, Yelameli Sri Vithalacharyaru are the prominent personalities in the history of the Mantralaya Devotees. Owing to the increase of the devotees, Rayaru stopped that. The number of such devotees were many. Sahlada Avatari Sri Jagannathadasaru has asked Rayaru why you have stopped talking to me?

Following this Mounavruta you have made Mantralaya as your own house to impart all the auspicious to the devotees. Never said about the Superhuman Power. Praying to the Lord  Sri Hari - Sri Narayana - Sri MoolaRamadevaru to Bless in Blessing the task of the Devotees.

The above great devotees have actually distributed the Mahima of Rayaru to all of us. The Contribution of the Archakas in clarifying the Mahimas of Rayaru cannot be forgotten. Here I wish to describe the picture of 54 years back. In those exactly at 3.30pm sharp the Archakas start the Paadodaka Prokshana to the devotees till 6.30 pm. Devotees suffering from various problems desired the Paadodaka Prokshana. One day, three days,five days, Seven days, fourteen days, twenty one days and also months together happily the Devotees have received the Paadodaka Prokshana. Poojya Sri Vedavyasacharyaru the Senior Archaka's dedication and devotion cannot be described in words in rendering the Noble Seva of Paadodaka Prokshana to the devotees. The Paadodaka is the Holy and the Sacred Abhisheka water of our Sri Raghavendrateertharu and also of Sri Narahari Rama Krishna Vedavyasaru Sri Vayudevaru and 702 Saligramas.The Archakas will sit inside the Brass door  and the Devotees will sit outside the brass door in front of Rayaru. Archakas performing the Pathhana of Gurustotra did the Paadodaka Prokshana with devotion. This took nearly 2-3 hours. Then  the Archakas were going to the Tungabhadra to take the holy dip in and get ready for the evening pooja of our Gururayaru. Devotees suffering from Bhoota Preta Pishaachi used to cry and say : yes I will go away now only. In this way the devotees got rid off  evil forces permanently.

I have actually seen with my own eyes the devotees suffering from Adhyatmika, Aadi Daihika, Aadi Bhoutika Taapatrayas were freed completely, acquired a kind of new bliss, Daivee Kale and the Anugraha of Sri Raghavendrateertha Gurusarvabhoumaru. Thus our devotees are bent with gratitude and  found a ray of hope in life and acquired what all they desired in life:

Devotees worship the Lotus feet of Rayaru with Bhakti will get everything in life. As Rayaru is SAKALAPRADAATARU. The mountain height of Paapa will be destroyed by the Krupaa Drushti of Rayaru. Krupa Drushti is Vajraayudha to the heap of sins. Rayaru KSHAMASURENDRARU, magnanimously excuses and protects. Such a great Rayaru always PROTECT ME. Nicely described by Appanaryaru.

Mantralaya Yatiraat Sri Raghavendrateertharu is JagatVandyaru. Distributes the Punya of Sri Hari Vayu GuruMadhwaru to all the devotees of the world.

Then let me describe the details of Sankalpa Seva. After taking the holy dip in the Tungabhadra they used to perform the SANKALPA in front of Rayaru by the Archakas. As per their convenient they will do the seva for 3days,7days,14days,21days and till their desire is fulfilled. They will do the Sankalpa of Pradakshina with Saashtanga Namaskara in all the eight directions. The feeling of complete surrendering will be awakening and alarming the devotees. Some will opt Yathhashakti. After completing their Sankalpa Seva the devotees were receiving the directions in the dreams by Rayaru. The devotees will describe the dream to the Archakas and the Archakas will clarify the Swapna Phala, receive Phala Mantrakshate and will return to their respective places.

Now owing to the tight schedule and the increased number of devotees are visiting the Sanctum of Mantralaya, taking a holy dip take the Darshana, Hejje Namskara, Uruluseve offering is very common now a days in Mantralaya. Accept the Hastodaka Prasada with gratitude:

And whole hearted pray to our Sri Raghavendrateertharu to protect always. The evening Rathhotsava Seva one after the other three Rathhotsavas Grandeur is really marvellous. Silver and  Gold Chariot to our Sri Prahladarajaru daily. During Bahleeka Avatara when Sri Krishna came to Bahleekaru, though he was on the opposite side welcomed happily to Paramatma Sri Krishna that too requested the Swami to sit in the Golden Chariot. One day Bahleekaru offered Gold Chariot to Sri Krishna, now daily Swami is offering SUVARNARATHHOTSAVA. Rayaru says Sri Hari it is all yours and offer the whole Seva to Sri MoolaRamadevaru. In this way the Punya is increasing , accumulating and enhancing every day.

After Rathhotsava and Tottilu Seva the most auspicious moment of MahaMangalarati of our Gururayaru is really worth to witness. Our two eyes are insufficient to look at the grandeur and the devotion of the Alankara to our Rayaru. It is the central point of all the Devotees, the Peethhadhipatis, the Archakas and all the Residents of Mantralaya. The Devotional Ecstasy in presenting all their desires in prayer at the time of MahaMangalarati and the joy of the devotees cannot be described in words, amidst the auspicious sound of Gante,Jaagate and Taala. The Devotees forget themselves and pronounce Prabho Raghavendra Raksha Maam Jaya Gurusarvabhouma, Mantralaya Prabho:

Tava Sankeertanam Veda Shaashtraarthha Gnyana Siddhaye

We feel we are lucky and fortunate to witness all this. Our Januma is Saarthhaka Meaningful as we are in the PUNYAKARA SANNIDHAANA of our Rayaru. We remember the wordings of Sri Purandaradasaru:

This human life is precious we have to make proper use.

Mantralaya Yatre, Darshana,Prasada - Hastodaka, Praarthhane, Atma Nivedane then receive Mantrakshate, Mruttika the Desires will be fulfilled definitely by the Anugraha of our Kind Saint.

Thus unwillingly we depart from Mantralaya the affectionate panorama of our Gururayaru.
