Background

Dear Devotees: Namaskara.Monday January 30th. 2012 Maagha Shukla Saptami Rathha Saptami, Tuesday January 31st.2012 Bheeshmashtami, Wednesday February 01st. 2012 Sri Madhwa Navami and Thursday February 02nd.2012 the Aaradhana of Sri Yogeendrateertharu, the successor of Mantralaya Sri Raghavendrateertharu. Very Memorable  Days to the World  Devotees of Mantralaya.

The greatness of Sri Madhwacharyaru - Sri Anandateertha Bhagavatpadacharyaru on the day of Sri Madhwa Navami,  the Noble Plan and the Inspiration of Akshya Koduge to our Dwaita Yatis are described in Mantralaya(442).



Meaning

A series of Auspicious Punyakara Days to Bless the World Devotees of Mantralaya from Monday to Thursday. Rathhasaptami, Bheeshmashtami, Madhawanavami and the Aaradhana of our  18th. Pontiff Sri Yogeendrateertharu, the successor of Mantralaya  Yatiraat Sri Raghavendrateertha  Gurusarvabhoumaru. Sri Suryanarayanadeva will sit in the Chariot on this day. From now onwards we feel that the day time is too long.The great Chetana Sri Bheeshmacharya sleeping on the bed of arrows, Eagerly awaited for the arrival of Uttaraayana to enter Vaikunthha and entered. This Ashtami is Bheeshmashtami Sri Hauma Bheemaru took the Avatara as Sri Maddhwacharyaru to proclaim Vishnu Sarvottamatva and for Dwaita Prasara. It is quite interesting to know that on a Festival day all the   Satvika, Sajjana  Bhaktas were gathered  in Sri Ananteshwara Temple. This is the oldest Temple in Udupi. At that time a Bhakta immediately climbed the 50 Feet tall pillar of the Temple and started dancing on the top without any fear. Shouted with loud  voice that Sri Vayudevaru is taking the Avatara soon to protect all of us. Among the gathered devotees Sri Madhyagehabhattaru of Paajaka was also present. He uttered himself that in whose womb Swami will take Avatara and who are the Fortunate Parents?  Sri Vayudevaru took Avatara in Paajaka to Sri Madhyagehabhattaru as his son Vasudeva. After attaining Sanyasa by Sri Achyutprekshacharyaru became Sri Madhwacharyaru and became our Moola Purusharu and Kulagurugalu.

Even to this day we find in a few Satvika families that at the time of SaayamDeepaaradhane they ask their children to wash their feet, perform Namaskara to God and then sit   comfortably and perform the Pathhana of the following Shloka and then sit for the daily study.

The first Avatara is Sri Hanumantadevaru, the second Avatara is Sri Bheemasenadevaru and the third Avatara is Sri Madhwacharyaru.  Sri Madhwacharyaru is our Original Guru Kulaguru. I here by offer my sincere Pranamas to our Kula guru  with great Respect and Regard:

Such a great Acharyaru is our Sri Madhwaharyaru. As a Pontiff and the Dwaita Siddhanta  Samsthhaapanacharya did yeoman service to the Manukula by Panchabheda Taaratamya and Sri Harisarvottama Vayujeevottama.  Sri Madhwacharyaru did the Sanchara of Punyakshetra Darshana and Sandarshana through out the length and the breadth of our Country including Sri Vedavyasadevaru in Badari. On this day of Maagha Shukla Navami our Guruvarya joined the abode of Badarikashrama with Sri Vedavyasaru. We Celebrate this Navami as Sri Madhwa Navami.

Dear Devotees the multifarious Mahopakaara of our Sri Madhwacharyaru is really great. Divyatma Acharya Sri Madhwaru is the Moola Purusha of all our Vaishnava Yatis and the Vaishnava Mutts. Sri Ramachandrateertharu the 10th. Pontiff of our Sri Madacharya Parampara first gave Sanyasa Ashrama to Sri Vibudhendrateertharu in Yergol. Then again gave Sanyasa Ashrama to Sri Vidyanidhiteertharu. This Noble Act lead to the Prasaara and the Progress of Dwaita Tatva  Siddhanta.

Thus Sri Vibudhendrateertharu beame the Pioneer of  Vidya Matha Vibudhnedrateertha Matha and Rayara Matha . Sri Vidyanidhiteertharu became the Pioneer of Uttaradi Matha. This increased the responsibilities of the Yatis to be in the Seva of Sri Harisarvottama  and Vayujeevottama and Convey the Divine Message to all the Devotees.

Udupi the Sanctum of Sri Hari Lord Sri Krishna is situated on the bank of  the ocean of Hindumahasaagara. There our Sri Anandateertha Bhagavatpaadaru in a Miraculous way acquired Sri Kadagola Krishna. Aparokshagnyani knew that Lord Krishna worshipped by Rukmini which was quite safe in the Rukmini garden where she planted abundant Tulasi from Dwaraka is now coming by ship to Udupi. The ship owing to the strong wind, experienced that some storm is about to come and the ship will be drowned. Sri Madhwacharyaru with His Divine Power took of the saffron Shesha Vastra and directed the ship to reach the sea shore, that sea shore is Malpe. As per the direction of our Acharyaru the ship reahed the bank safely. The chief of the ship bowed with respect to Sri Madhwacharyaru and said please ask anything, I will give for my satisfaction as you saved all of us from drowning. Then Acharya asked two big logs of Gopichandana that you have placed for balancing the  weight of the Ship. They are the logs of soil, please ask any valuable articles. But Acharya gladly took only the two logs of GOPICHANDANA. In one log Sri Balarama and in the other log Sri Krishna. One of His shishya carried one log and Sri Madhwacharyaru took t e other log.  On the way back to Udupi the log which the shishya was carrying, fell in the middle. Sri Acharyaru did the Pratishthhaapana there only at Malpe and named as VADABHAANDESHWARA. With all due care and Bhakti  Sri Anandateertharu brought Kadagola Krishna idol to Udupi, separated the Lord from the sacred GOPICHANDANA, Placed the Holy Idol in the Madhwa Sarovara for 40 days for Shuddhi and Siddhi. With al Devotion and grandeur performed the Pratishthhaapana of Sri Krishna in Udupi.

Not only that Sri Madhwacharyaru established the Ashta Mathas - Eight Mathas and made meticulous arrangements to the worship of  Sri Krishna in Udupi. Today the  Udupi Mathas are rendering the great noble service to Dwaita Siddhanta and to Manukula. This Noble work of Sri Madhwacharyaru is unforgettable :

Sri Madhwacharyaru as per the guidance of Sri Vedavyasadevaru  wrote AnuVykhyana to Brahmasutra. To this AnuVyakhyana and the writings of Acharya abundant Teeka, Tippani and Vivarane are composed by our Great Yativarenyas:

Sri Jaiteertharu, Sri Vyasarajaru, Sri Vadirajaru, Sri Vijayeendrateertharu,
Sri Sudheendrateertharu and Sri Raghavendrateertharu.
Sri Jaiteertha Teekakrutpadacharyaru's SRI MANN NYAAYA SUDHA a Rachana full of (imaginative creativity and knowledge) Pratibhaa and Paanditya. Our Sri Vyasarajaru, Shankukarna, Prahlada, Baahleeka Avatari Sri Vyasarajateertharu has said in the book of all times NYAAYAMRUTA:

Each word of SUDHA is like a beautiful picture, correct and high Regard and Respect towards the Teachings of Acharya Tatva. It is very clear that Sri Jaiteertharu has completely relished and grasped the gist of Acharyaru's all original thoughts and ideas.  We the sincere followers of Acharya Madhwaru daily remember and daily while taking food we perform the Pathhana of the above  Shloka and the below Shloka which is about Acharyaru SRI MAT ACHARYARU SRI MADHWACHRYARU.

Sri Raghavendrateertharu is the Avatari of Sri Vyasarajaru and the Shloka resembles like Sri Vyasarayaru's Shloka.

The Successor of Sri Raghavendrateertharu was none but the Poorvashrama grandson of his elder  brother Sri Gururajacharya, the son of Sri Venkatanarayana by name Sri Venkannacharya took Sanyasa by Rayaru as Sri Yogeendrateertharu the 18th. Pontiff of our VidyaMutt. Sri Yogeendrateertharu's Aaradhana Celebration as per the tradition and the protocol of our Rayara Mutt Celebrated in Sri Ranga.
