Background

The importance of Navaratri and our Mantralaya Sri Raghavendrateertharu is very dear to Sri Narasimhaswami and Tirumale Srinivasaswami are described in Mantralaya(372).

When Sri Hari is satisfied and happy with us, nothing is impossible. Everything is possible. When Sri Hari Anugraha is with us we get everything in life. Gnyana Knowledge, Vignyana Vishesha Gnyana Special Knowledge and also wealth.

Our Pooja and Prayers are all to Tirumala Swami. We perform the Sthhaapana of Ghatta - Ghata Sthhaapana. Place a coconut in the Silver vessel and invite Swami in that and the whole Pooja, Alankara to Ghatta Ghata. Every day morning and evening pooja with Tulasi and all kinds of fragrance flowers and also Naana Rutu Kaalodbhava Parimala Pushpa. During this Holy Navaratri preference is more to purity Madi Bhakti. We have a strong Faith and Belief that Saakshaat Tirumale  Sri  Srinivasadevaru is Sri Hari is Sri Rama, Sri Krishna, Sri Vedavyasadevaru, Sri Narahari  and Sri Narasimhadevaru.

We the  World  Devotees of  Bichali Japadakatti Sri Appanacharya Priya Mantralaya Sri Raghavendrateertha Gurusarvabhoumaru are acquiring the real values of life in this Navaratri Festival Navaratri Parvakaala. Offering of Naivedya, Vaishwadeva, Hastodaka, Mangalarati and  finally Respect and Regard with Deevatige pronouncing :

Yelu Koti  Yelu Koti Govindaa Govindaa   and
Yelu Kondala Swami Govindaa Govindaa.
 

In several houses there is tradition to go for Gopaala at least for five houses and say :

Venkataramana Govindaa Govindaa and accept the offering of rice. Satvikas believe that Sri Swami Venkatesha himself has come to their houses to Bless. It is a beautiful sacred scene to see that the young boys  with joy and cheerfulness wearing  silk dhoti and sheshavastra, holding the vessel and going to the houses saying Sri Venkataramana Govinda Govindaa. The received rice will be stored and cooked after Navaratri and fed to the child as a Prasada of Swami. During this Navaratri the devotees perform the Pathhana and Shravana of Sri Srinivasa Kalyana  described in Bhavishyottara Purana. There are certain devotees along with Bhavishyottara Purana they do the paraayana of the  holy  Aditya Purana. The grandeur and the devotion increases day by day right from Aashweeja Pratipada to Vijayadashami the Birth Day of our Kula Guru Sri Madhwacharyaru. Special Deepaaraadhane  and Pooja Kainkarya  at the bank of Tungabhadra at Mantralaya, Bichali Japadakatti and Gaanadhaalu Panchamukhi.

Knowing the importance of the Deepotsava our devotees are overwhelmed with joy. Not only in Navaratri but are following in all the 365 days of the year Nandaa Deeparaadhane:

Acquire Knowledge, acquire Santaana, the Santaana will become highly intelligent by lighting the Nandadeepas before Sri GuruRaghavendraru. Praying to GuruRayaru means we are actually praying to Sri Hari and Sri Vayudevaru. Devotees living in the Divine  shelter  of Mantralaya - Bichali - Panchamukhi have practically experienced in life that are always Blessed and Protected by Mantralaya Yatiraataru.

Here during this Navaratri it is heartening to know that our Sri Raghavendrateertharu Sri Venkatanatharu - Sri Venkatabhattaru is born by the Divine Grace Vara Prasada of our Tirumala Sri Srinivasadevaru - Sri Venkateshawara. The poorvashrama Sodaraliya of Sri Raghavendrateertharu By name  Narayanacharya the son of his sister Venkatamba and Sri Laxminarasimhacharya of Madurai who was  great scholar and running a Vidya Peetha has contributed a master piece to this universe: SRI RAGHAVENDRA VIJAYA. On an auspicious day when all the stars, Karanas,Yogas were favourable on Thursday our GuruRayaru  Daivee Chetanaru took birth in the Punyagarbha of Dwijendrapatnee  Gopamma wife of  a noble scholar satvika sajjana Veena Timmannabhattaru. Became very respectable  famous and popular in the whole world  Jagat Vandaneeya and who always aspired and desired to  the welfare of the world.

This Divine Chetana day in and day out through out the world always amidst the thick gathering of the devotees, Regarded and Respected considerably. Jaya Ghosha and Jayakaara every where. This Divine Chetana is Venkatanathha the name of Sri Tirumala Swami Vem Katati Iti Venkatanathha.

Devotees in this Navaratri while listening  Swami Suprabhata the whole remniscenes and rememberances come to our heart and we feel that we are Blessed by Rayaru and Tirumala Sri Venkateshwaraswami. It is again heartening to know that at the sacred bank of Trungabhadra  during the long stay of 13 years in Bichali Rayaru is too fortunate that Rayaru is Blessed by :

1 Sri Narasimhadevaru at the  Bichali Japadakatti.
2 Expressed Gratitude to Sri Sheshadevaru
3 At the Sanctum of Sri Panchamukhi Praanadevaru Sri Raghavendrateertharu

Attained the Pratyaksha Darshana of Tirumala Sri Venkateshwaraswami.

Tirumala Swami told Rayaru that just as I am Bhaktaanugraha Premi, You also become like that and the Divinity will be always Jaagruta. Through you Hari Mata will be spread and Vayujeevottama will be prospered till the end of Kaliyuga.

Devategalivaru Idake Sandeha Beda. Rayaru is Daivamsha Sambhootaru do not doubt!

Sri Jagannathadasaru has said. The same thing is described by our Sri Krishnavadhootaru:

Mae Ishtaarthha Siddhaye.

During this auspicious Navaratri let us light the NandaDeepas with these Divine Feelings and attain the Anugraha of Mantralaya Sri Raghavendrateertharu.
