Background

Meaning

Devotees will be actually awaiting for the arrival of Vaikuntha Ekadashi. Two days earlier prior to Ekadashi satvikas will be going to the seven hills by walk and vehicles in groups and  groups. Like the lines of the ants people will be going and following Swami Sannidhi to join the festival of Vaikuntha Ekadashi.

The Lord of Seven Hills listens to the call of His devotees and always welcome with affection and love.So in Venkatachala  lakhs together have gathered to cross through the Vaikuntha Dwara. Special attraction on that day is the decoration of flowers in and around of the temple. Nearly fifty truck loads of flowers are waiting for the decoration. The fragrance of flowers filled in Tirumala declare that it is Vaikuntha-Swarga-BHOOVAIKUNTHA the sanctum of Sri Hari Srinivasa Devaru.

Blossomed flowers decoration near Mahadwara,Tower(Gopura) walls and pillars.We cannot find even a single spot without flowers. At the main entrance Mahadwara Shesha Shaayee image made of flowers is marvelous.On the day of Dashami only the decoration starts,nearly two hundred persons are engaged in the decoration of dlowers day and night.
