Mantralaya Sri Raghavendrateertharu's love for Bichali Japadakatti , Japa and the Pranava Mantra OM KAARA by our Gururaat Rayaru at the Ekshila Brindavana even to this day are described in detail in Mantralaya(368).
Devotees are anxious to know certain points pertaining to our Mantralaya Rayaru. Honestly put forth my sincere and humble efforts to describe the same for Kind Reference in Mantralaya(368).
1) Sri Raghavendrateertharu desired to stay
in Bichali for a long period of 13years.
2) Bichali Naagaloka
3) Sri Raghavendrateertharus routine
starts sharp at Braahmeemuhurta in Bichali Japadakatti Holy Dip,
Aahneeka,Japa,Pranava Mantra Pathhana.
4) Mantralaya GuruRaya Nitya Jyoti Darshana

Sri Vijayeendrateertharu like a Sun to the lotus has blossomed the hearts of the Devotees and like Kalpavruksha and Kamadhenu has fulfilled the Desires of the Devotees. This shloka is very popular. It is heartening to know that our Sri Raghavendrateertharu's Poorvashrama son Laxminarayana a young kid of two years learnt this shloka from his mother Sow. Saraswatamma. Sri Vijayeendrateertharu the 15th.Pontiff of our VidyaMutt was none but the Avatara of Sri Vibudhendrateertharu the 11th.Pontiff who took Ashrama by the 10th. Pontiff Sri Ramachandrateertharu in Yergol is believed and called as the founder of our VidyaMutt - Rayara Mutt.
So a great importance to our Sri Vijayeendrateertharu, brought up and educated in Hampi by Sri Vyasaraja Yativarenyaru is called as ParamaGuru. Sri Surendrateertharu the 14th. Pontiff was fortunate to receive him as his successor by Sri Vyasarajaru. As already said the role of Sri Raghunandanateertharu and Sri Surendrateertharu are of great importance in our VidyaMutt. Thus Sri Surendrateertharu is responsible to bring the three noble Yatis to our VidyaMutt and to continue the rich heritage of our Sri Madhwacharya Parampara and to upheld the Dwaita Siddhanta in the whole world. We are highly grateful to Sri Raghunandanateertha Kara Sanjaata Sri Surendrateertharu. Bichali Japadakatti Sri Appanacharya has mentioned in Gurustotra:
Sarvatantra Swatantrosow Sri Madhwa Mata
Vardhanaha
Vijayeendra Karaabjothhaha Sudheendra
Varaputrakaha
We are highly fortunate that from the sacred bank of Kaveri Temple City Kumbhakone Sri Raghavendrateertharu returned to the bank of Tungabhadra Bichali and Manchali with all Divinity and humanity to our Uddhaara only. It was the Prerana of Sri Hari and it is great boon and Divyanugraha to the world devotees of Mantralaya.
The arrival of Sri Raghavendrateertharu filled the heart of Diwan Venkanna with joy and happiness. He was simply thrilled and surrendered completely to Rayaru. Even the Nawab of Adoni Sri Siddi Masoodkhan also impressed a lot to the Divine Power of our Sri Raghavendrateertharu. Became a great devotee of Rayaru and thus gladly donated the Village Manchali which became famous as Mantralaya. Diwan Venkanna made all the elaborate arrangements to the Sanchaara of Sri Raghavendrateertharu from Adoni to Raichur and the neighbouring places. Bichali Sri Appanacharya went to Raichur along with his father Sri Ramasubbanacharya. The two stalwarts meeting was a great divine record in the history of Bhikshaalaya - Bichali and Mantralaya - Manchali. By the Darshana of Sri Gururayaru Appanacharyaru inspired inwardly and the inward eyes opened fully and both experienced the relationship of Previous Avatara. Avatara of Aahlada and Prahlada. Aparokshagnyani Sri Raghavendrateertharu knew the importance and the sanctity of Bichali. So immediately agrred to the request of Ramasubbanacharya and Appanacharya to Visit Bichali.
Rayaru came to Bichali. The father Sri Ramasubbanacharya and the son Sri Appanarya of Jahagirdar family welcomed with great honour and grandeur with Bhajan Vedaghosha, Vaadyamela Purnakumbha. The whole Bichali Agrahaara was fully decorated with green leaves of Mango and flowers of fragrance. The Tungabhadra flow greeted with lullaby right from Anegundi and thus expressed her happiness and pleasure at the Bichali Japadakatti near the steps at SanyasikattI and Madhwarayara Gundu, the lullaby is melodious pronouncing Om Namo Sri Raghavendraya Nemaha ! The Sanctum Japadakatti won the heart of Sri Raghavendrateertharu and Rayaru agreed to live in Bichali in the house of Appanacharya.
1) The dedicated, affectionate, selfless Seva of Appanacharya is mainly responsible to our Rayaru to stay in Bichali. Made Bichali as the Head Quarters of VidyaMutt. Moved for Sanchara through out India and again returned to the house of Appanacharya.
2) The JAPADAKATTI attracted the divine heart of Sri Raghavendrateertharu, owing to the Ashwathhvruksha planted by Sri Sripadarajaru and the Pratishthhaapana of the Sacred Sri Narasimhadevaru.
3) Sri Jitamitrateertharu Pratishthhaapita Sri Sheshadevaru Rayaru worshipped daily in Bichali Japadakatti. We can easily say that Bichali is Naagaloka. This again reminded the dungeon of vicious serpents and did not harm Sri Prahladarajaru. Rayaru expressed gratitude in Sri Raghavendra Avatara at Bichali Japadakatti and offered milk to Sheshadeva daily after the Pooja of Sri MoolaRamadevaru.
4) Sri Vyasaraja Pratishthhaapita Sri Praanadevaru Rayaru simply worshipped daily.
5) The Mukta Vihaara ( free movement ) of Shesha- Nagappa every where in Bichali proved it is none but Naagaloka.
6) The profound immense Silence prevailing at the Bichali Japadakatti reminded our Rayaru of Prahalada Avatara.
7) Daily will get up at Braahmeemuhurta Sharp, take a holy dip in the Tungabhadra near Madhwarayara Gundu, perform Aahneeka, Anushthhaana, Japa, Pranava Mantra Pathhana at the Bichali Japadakatti. This routine is continued even to this day by our Gururaat Sri Raghavendrateertharu even after the Brindavana Pravesha of 339 years.
8) Sri Raghavendrateertharu Aparokshagnyani is fully aware of the arrival of Aaraddhya Daiva Sri MoolaRamadevaru. The ancestors of Bichali Japadakatti Appanacharya the two brothers of the Jahagirdar family Sri Chandrabhatta and Sri Gundabhatta handed over the Sacred Idol of Sri MoolaRamadevaru to the 13th Pontiff of our Sri Madhwacharya Peetha Parampara of VidyaMutt to Sri Raghunandanateertharu. The two brothers were really Satvika,Aastika and Sajjana did a noble Job. Through out their lifetime satisfactorily completed the task of Sri Harisarvottama and Sri Vayujeevottama. A Copper plate inscription is handed over to this Badadha family by our Vidya Mutt the 13th.Pontiff His Holiness Sri Raghunandanateertharu. I have seen and read the Tamrashaasana. So the great stalwarts of our Vidyamutt:
Knowing the most noble work of Appanacharya family Rayaru desired to stay in Bichali. Added to this the dedication, the devotion, the care and the concern of the greatest Devotee Appanacharya excelled all in those days including knowledge and learning. Japadakatti the Open University Mukta Vishwa Vidyalaya the Centre of learning of Chaturveda attracted the large number of students as Appanacharya himself was the Professor and the Vice Chancellor. Sri Raghavendrateertharu looking at the whole scene of Bichali Japadakatti adjacent to the holy river Tungabhadra did not go anywhere. After the completion of regular Sanchara returned to the Sanctum and took active participation in the activities of Japadakatti.
Sri Krishnavadhootaru the greatest Devotee of our Sri Appanacharya and our Rayaru has said in Sri RaghavendraTantra that Chanting of Sri Raghavendra Stotra composed by Appanacharyaru is Sarveshta Saadhakam and we have to remember Appanaryaru.

In this Kaliyuga we are sure to acquire quickly the Anugraha of Sri Raghavendrateertharu by the Pathhana of Sri Gurustotra.
So today we are fortunate to share the Punya of Ashtottara Shata Seva the global project being conducted by the Vamshasthharu at the Bichali Japadakatti every month in the second week of Thursday without fail.
Sri Raghavendrateertharu Nitya Jyoti Roopa Darshana Pradaataru at the Bichali Japadakatti Ekshila Brindavana. Daily Pranava Mantra Pathhana at the Braahmee Muhurta is continued. Two devotees have actually heard and shared their divine experiences very recently.
It seems Rayaru is fully aware of the confusion in the minds of some devotees. To clarify the confusion, our two devotees divine experiences of hearing the Pranava Mantra is a witness as per the Prerana of Rayaru.
Dear world devotees I only wish that our coming generation should know the actual facts about our Rayaru and not by simply imagination. In Sri Gurusarvanbhouma Maasa Patrike in the 339th. Aaradhana Special issue certain things described are too far from the true. In Mantralaya(367) described that not 1200 Sri Sudarshana Saligramas are in the Brindavana but 702 Sri Laxminarayana Saligramas of Devata Pooja. Some one has quoted wrongly as 1200. This is not correct. Mantralaya Series took its birth to convey the real things and do justice to our Mantralaya Kalpavruksha Kamadhenu Sri Raghavendraru:
Let us Pray whole heartedly and completely surrender to
Bichali Japadakatti Sri Appanacharya Priya Mantralaya
