Background

We all Devotees Pray Rayaru through  the Pathhana  of Sri Raghavendra GuruStotra, which is popular and famous as Stotra Raja composed  extempore through Aashukavitva, owing to the love, affection, regard and the Devotional Ecstasy by the Greatest Devotee  Bichali Japadakatti Sri Appanacharya. Gurustotra is very dear to our Rayaru.

Sri Raghavendrateertharu Sat  with Padmaasana for the  long Japa of Sri Hari in the Garbhalaya of  Mantralaya where Sri Prahaladarajaru  has performed the Holy Yaaga on the bank of the Sacred Tungabhadra on Shraavana Bahula Dwiteeya Friday, August 11th.1671, While Chanting the Pranava Mantra Om Om GuruRayaru asked the shishyas to drag the Koormaasana Shila and close the Garbhaalaya. Bhavy Divya Neela Brindavana  was made  by Diwan Venkaana on the top of the Garbhaalaya. Our Kind and most merciful Sri Raghavendra Gurusarvabhoumaru disappeared from our sight on this day only 339 years back.

Mantralaya Sri Raghavendrateertha Gurusarvabhoumaru strictly followed Manu Dharma and Yati Dharma and the importance of Two Two Two are described in Mantralaya(365).

Meaning

This year's 339th Aradhana Mahotsava  speciality is that owing to the heavy rains, sacred Tungabhadra is overflowing, affectionately  touching the two sides of the  banks of Mantralaya and Bichali as our Sri Raghavendrateertha Gurusarvabhoumaru is sitting with a smile below the Brindavana in the long Japa of Sri Hari. Today the famous Hampi and Anegundi Navavrundavana are completely submerged in the Tungabhadra including Sri Purandara Mantapa.

The Holy Yatis Sri Narahariteertharu and Sri Raghunandanateertharu are in Complete Shuddhi Madi in the Holy water of river Tungabhadra.

As already described every day Sri Raghavendrateertharu visits Bichali Japadakatti early in the morning sharp at Braahmee Muhurta without fail. Takes the holy dip in the river  Tungabhadra and performs Anushthhana, Japa at the Sanctum of Japadakatti EkShilaBrindavana,  before we perform Abhisheka. The same thing happened today and added to this Tungabhadra herself is performing the Abhisheka to Ekshilabrindavana where Rayaru is Nitya Jyoti Roopa Darshana Pradaataru as per the wordings given to the greatest  Devotee Sri Appanacharyaru. A total sum of one lakh Punya Siddhi Kshetra is our Bichali Japadakatti. Today though the water of the Tungabhadra is encircled  the Japadakatti and the EkShilaBrindavana of Rayaru is  submerged, the Aradhana pooja, Abhisheka, Hastodaka, that too Kadabu  108 Hastodaka  with Sankalpa are performed sitting on the bank. Bichali Japadakatti Appanacharya Vamshasthha Sri Badada Ramacharyaru  Shuddha Mana (Pure heart) Siddha  Sankalpa Seva celebrated  the 339 th Aradhana  Utsava of Sri Raghavendrateertharu as per our Sadaachara of Acharya Sri Madhwaru. The Strong Belief, Faith, Devotion, Dedication and Courage of the Vamshasthharu are quite appreciable

As per the Sanskrit Subhaashita  Dhairyam Sarvatra Saadhanam  the Kratu Shakti of  the Vamshasthharu  of Sri Appanacharyaru,  Bichali JapadakattiSri Ramacharya are  praise worthy. All the abundant  devotees of the world  of the Global Project :

It is a Miracle of Sri Raghavendrateertharu that even amidst the adverse climatic conditions whether rain or shine the Seva Kainkarya at the Bichali Japadakatti are going on and Rayaru is accepting the Seva from Appanacharyaru. And one more thing I wish to mention here that as usual Sri Ramacharyaru has sent about more than 900 Mangoes, during this unusual season to Mantralaya Rayara Aradhana  to prepare pickles f from his garden though the connecting road bridge is cut off, carried via the Railway Bridge and handed over to Mantralaya. Rayaru is very fond  about the things of Appanacharya and very dear. So Rayaru received from Bichali Japadakatti though there is rain and the river Tungabhadra is overflowing leading to spate.
 

Dear World Devotees, I wish to share  a brief incident that happened to our Mantralaya Yatiraat Sri Raghavendrateertharu  Two years , Two months and Two days back before August 11, 1671.As already described in the Mantralaya Series  the world devotees already know that Sri Raghavendrateertharu lived for thirteen years in Bichali Japadakatti as per the desire of Sri Appanacharyaru. Resided in the house of Appanacharyaru.  Rayaru liked very much the affectionate  and selfless Seva of Appanacharya. Always spent time at the Japadakatti and Sanyasikatti with Appanarya and with dear shishyas. One day Rayaru started describing the Essence of Madhwa Philosophy contained in Sudha - Chandrika and Parimala to his dear students on the Sanyasikatti. At that time immediately Sri Raghavendraru stood  looking at the sky  and talking. Shishyas surprised to see this. They cannot see anything in the sky and GuruRaya is talking. Then they asked Rayaru looking at the sky  you were talking with somebody. Rayaru said I witnessed that Sri Krishnadwaipaayanaru was sitting in the Pushpaka Vimaana from Kusumurty and now Via Venisompura is going to Vaikunthha Vaikunthha Prasthhaana. I saluted him with respect and regard and I asked Sri Krishnadwaipaayanaru when should I SIT FOR THE LONG JAPA OF SRI HARI FOR 700 YEARS. Then Sri Krishnadwaipaayanaru said holding the two fingers of the right hand like our Sri Madhwacharyaru,

TWO TWO TWO .  Rayru clarified as TWO YEARS, TWO MONTHS AND TWO DAYS.  After two years, two months and days I have to engage my self in the long Japa of Sri Hari. The shishyas became silent and dumb and could not talk anything. That was Shraavana Bahula Bidige Friday August 11th.1671.

Dear Devotees now-a-days  our politicians also show  their two fingers declaring their victory.  That is a different thing.

Sri Krishnadwaipaayanaru was not an ordinary saint ! A saint of Uttaradimutt did not stick on to the power of the Mutt. Became a Bidi Sanyasi. While sitting for Pravachana he used to keep a  small piece of iron under his seat. By the time the Pravachana conludes the iron piece will change into a piece of Gold by the Anugraha of Sri Hari. Sell the same and will purchase the things required to the students of Paathhashaala including the provisions. Never used for anything, nor for himself and never used the power for worldly things.

Krishnadwaipaayanaru took Sanyasa by the 26th.Pontiff of our Vidya Mutt SRSMutt H.H.  Sri Bhuvanendrateertharu as Sri Vyasatatvagnyateertharu and became a Bidi Sanyasi.

Such a Yati Sri Dwaipaayanaru while crossing the Bichali Japadakatti Sanyasikatti through Pushpaka Vimaana Prasthhaana to Vaikuntha offered Darshana  to our Rayaru and said  TWO TWO TWO. That two two two is todays Shraavana Bahula Dwiteeya to resume for the long Japa of Sri Hari below the Brindavana and disappear from our sight.

In the  First  Two Years  called Diwan Venkanna to Bichali. The Nawab of Adoni by name Siddi Masoodkhan was kind enough to join Diwan Venkanna and came to Bichali, via Manchali - Chika Manchali - Gaanadhalu. Rayaru talked with Diwan Venkanna to construct  of Brahmin houses, Mutt and the temple of Sri Venkateshwara in Mantralaya and wish to reside in Mantralaya.  this  is record in the  copper inscription.

In the Second Month Rayaru dismantled the Snakebill which was in the backyard of Appanacharya's house. Daily After the pooja of Sri MoolaRamadevaru Rayaru offered milk to Sri Sheshadevaru in a golden plate. This went on several days. Appanacharya has witnessed daily. But Rayaru dismantled. Appanarya did not question Rayaru. Rayaru thought after his Brindavana Pravesha public will be afraid to see the Serpent so dismantled after a prayer to Sri Sheshadevaru.Sheshadevaru became Udbhava on a black stone. Rayaru did the Pratishthhaapana where the Snakebill was existing. That Serpent was none but Sheshadevaru - Bichali Nagappa.

In the third and the last phase when Chaaturmaasa was about to commence Rayaru sent Bichali Japadakatti Appanacharya for Madhwa Sanchara. Next day called Diwan Venkanna and went to Mantralaya. Called the grandson of Sri Guirurajacharya his poorvashrama elder brother by name Sri Venkannacharya and made him as his successor Sri Yogeendrateertharu and together sat for Chaaturmaasa in the Venkateshwara Temple in Mantralaya. Asked Venkanna to announce the day of Brindavana Pravesha of Shraavana Bahula Dwiteeya Friday August 11.1671 in Mantralaya.

Sri Raghavendrateertha Gurusarvabhoumaru on this day went in procession from the Venkateshwara Temple on the Elephant Maandhaata to sit for long Japa of Sri Hari on the bank of Tungabhadra where Sri Prahladarajaru performed Yaaga the most Siddhi place and disappeared from our sight.
