Completely surrendered to Sri Narayana. Sri Veena Timmannabhattaru and Gopamma a very noble couple did the Tirumala Yatra,  Resided on the Seven Hills of Sri Swami Sannidhaana.Performed the Seva of Sri Srinivasadevaru and the Paaraayana of the most  holy and the sacred : Sri AditayaPuraanantargata Sri Venkatesha Mahatmyam  with  great devotion. This is very dear to Swami Sri Srinivasadevaru and highly pleased towards the Seva of the noble couple and they got Sri Venkatanathabhattaru our Sri Raghavendrateertharu as they were Punya Jeevigalu.

Our Rayaru we can say is  a BOON -  VARA  of Sri Venkateshwaraswami, the essence, sarvaswa  of Bhaagavata, incarnation of Siddhi and the greatness of Bhakti. Right from Sri Prahlada Avatara, Sri Baahleekarajaravatara and Sri Vyasarajaravatara. We are really amazed to know the kind concern, affection and  the style of the Uddhaara of all of us.

Remembering all this when we think of  Manchali - Chikka Manchali , Gaanadhaalu Panchamukhi and Bichali situated on the  sacred bank of Tungabhadra, we become emotional and devotional. These are the Siddhi Kshetras. Related with each other and all are linked  in the Sutra of Bhakti.Our Sri Raghavendrateertharu when lived Bichali had been to Gaanadhaalu daily and performed the Seva of Sri Panchamukhi Praanadevaru.

Dear devotees let us know how Praanadevaru became Panchamukhi? In Ramayana AhiRavana and MahiRavana the brothers of Ravana were very powerful in strength. Wicked and crooked. Sri Hanumanthadeva though killed them by cutting off their heads, the heads were again joined and fought with them but invain ! Sri Hanumanthadevaru at last  sat for Tapasya and prayed  to Sri Narasimhadevaru. Sri Narasimhadevaru gave Pratyaksha Darshana and said : Killing the two devils is really a hard task. These two brothers have safely kept their lives Praana in the fives Bees - Bhramaras which are in Paatala Loka. So Bhaktagresara Praanadeva you have to kill them  tactfully with the divine power of Panchamukhi. Sri Varaaha Roopi Swami, Sri Garuda deva at the right side, Sri Narasimha Roopi, Sri Hayavadana Roopi at the left side of yours will join together in killing AhiRavana and MahiRavana. With all this Divine Power Sri Hanumanthadeva went to Paatala Loka and immediately  crushed the five bhramaras. When Panchamukhi went to Paatala Loka the two brothers felt lot of uneasiness and could not find out what is going to happen to them. Sri Praanadevaru Panchamukhi with the divine total power and siddhi killed the brothers of Ravana. This is a real fact. As a sacred remember of this great historical  deed  and the Devotion of Sri Praanadevaru, it  was the will and wish of Sri Hari that on the  hill rock of Gaanadhaalu  automatically Panchamukhi impressions have taken place.In Kannada we say Vadamoodu and in Sanskrit we say Swayambhoo. Rayaru liked this sanctum very much. Sat at this sacred Sannidhaana for Japa Anushthhaana etc. and prayed a lot to His KulaSwami Sri Srinivasa  Sri Venkateshwara Swami. Sri Rayaru is very fortunate that Kulaswami Sri Srinivasa  gave Pratyaksha Darshana here only! The total sum of all the essence of Siddhi is in Panchamukhi:

We are highly indebted to our Sri Raghavendrateertha Gurusarvabhoumaru. Though stayed more than fourteen years  comfortably in Kumbhakonam on the sacred bank of Kaveri, near to the Native place Bhuvanagiri,  GuruRayaru desired to come to Mantralaya situated on the bank of Tungabhadra. We feel that to attain all this  Rayaru desired the bank of Tungabhadra. Came to Bhikshaalaya - Bichali, a kind cordial relationship between Rayaru and Appanacharyaru grew like a mountain just like the mother and  the child. Bichali Sri Appanacharya became very close, familiar, near and dear to our Kind  Sri Raghavendrateertharu. Performed the maximum Seva of Rayaru right from massaging the legs, preparation of Dal Chatni and Appi Paayasa. Happily spent all the time with Rayaru at the Japadakatti, Sanyasi Katti and Sri Madhwarayara gundu. Enriched the philosophy of Sri SriMadacharya and thus  Sri Raghavendrateertharu became:

Pratishthhaapanacharya of Acharya Tatvas.

Bhaktaanugraha Premi Sri Raghavendra Gurusarvabhoumaru very dear to Sri Hari. We can rightly say that the Panchamukhi Avatara itself is the incarnation of :

Sri Harisarvottama  and  Sri Vayujeevottama. Sri Panchamukhi Praanadevaru Blessed Rayaru abundantly. The total sum of all the Siddhi of our divine GuruRayaru is being distributed to the devotees for the Uddhaara. So  we call our Rayaru :

Bhaktaanugraha Premi Sarvatra Sarva Karyeshu Jaya Pradaata

Our Bichali Sri Appanacharyaru has said in Sri Raghavendra Gurustotra :

Sri Raghavendraha Sakala Pradaata Swapaadakanja Dwaya Bhakti Madbhaha
AghaadriSambhedanaDrushtiVajraha KshamaSurendroVatumaamSadaayam

Rayaru liberally gives everything to his devotees. Those devotees who always remember and surrender to the Lotus feet of Rayaru SAKALA PRADAATA. The Kind Sight Karuna Drushti, Krupa Drushti of Rayaru will simply  vanish the mountain size sins with the Vajraayudha of Krupa Drushti. So Sri Raghavendrateertharu is Kshama Surendraru. Each and every word of Sri Raghavendra Gurustotra composed spontaneously by our greatest devotee Bichali Sri Appanacharyaru are of great importance and they  are practically true.

So describing the importance of Sri Panchamukhi Praanadevaru I appeal to the world devotees  let us live happily, peacefully, forget our   selfish and ego and acquire the Akshaya  Anugraha of our great  Yatiraat  Mantralaya  Sri Raghavendrateertharu. Let us spend the time and the days in the SEVA of our GuruRayaru and become dear to Sri Hari Sri Vayu and Sri Guru.
