Tena Vina Trunamapi Na Chalati.
Ninna Valumeyinda Nikhila Sampadavu
By Sri Hari only we get everything in life. The Vedas have proclaimed to the world that Sri Hari is every where ! Sarvatra Sarva Vyapi - Vishwato Baahuhu Vishwato Chakshuhu Sahasra Sheershaha Purushaha. On November 04th. Wednesday in Mantralaya the 38th. Pontiff of our Jagadguru Sri Madacharya Peetha Parampara Rayara Mutt - Vidya Mutt Sri Sushameendrateertha’s Kalaakarshana took place. Devotees while taking the Darshana of Swamiji, to their great surprise , they noticed the sketch on the leaf of a Vatavruksha on that BalaGopalakrishna is sleeping. This shows the greatness of our Swamiji that automatically this has taken shape. It is quite astonishing to see that though the flood has dashed and water stranded like a pond for more than four days, the salt and the muster powder did not even dissolve. It proves the high devotional power of our Swamiji. More than 30,000 devotees witnessed in Mantralaya the Kalaakarshana, who was popularly called as moving Rayaru - Chalisuva Rayaru.
Well known for Siddhi,Vaak Siddhi, Vachonishthha,Satvika Shuddhatmaru. Our SRSMutt witnessed the highest peak of glory and grandeur during the long holy tenure of Sri Sushameendrateertharu. The dearest devotee of Rayaru Uttanooru Sri Gopaladasaru has said in the Suladis:
Dina Dinakilli Nutana Poojegalaaguvau
Dina Dinakilli Nutana Utsavagalaaguvavu
Dina Dinakilli Nutana Keertigalaaguvau
Dina Dinakilli Nutana Vaartegalaaguvau
Janara Sandani Prati Dina Vipra Bhojana
Janara Kaiyinda Prati Janareepsitava Tumbuvaru
Januma Saphala Tamma Jananava Neeguvaru
Dina Sapta Varusha Dina Pariyantara
Dinakara Shata Teja Jananaatha Taanilli
Amnuvaagi Taanindu Janara Paalipudakkuanumaana
Salladu
Gunagana Paripurna Gopalavitthala
Anoraneeya Yembuvage Yeneyaaro Jagadolage
As already described the symbol of Balagopala on the leaf of Vatavruksha on the head of Swamiji is a Miracle. our Sri Raghavendrateertharu always heard the pleasing sound of the flute of Balagopala Krishna in Udupi and offered Divya Darshana to our Rayaru. That is still green in our hearts. That Sri SantaanaGopalakrishna is being worshipped daily in our Mutt and Sri Krishna introduced to the Devotees of the world that the 38th. Pontiff Sri Sushameendrateertharu is extraordinary. As already described the sworning in ceremony of Sri Sushameendrateertharu took place at the sanctum Bichali where we find a total sum of more than one lakh Punya and Siddhi. So Sri Sushameendrateertharu attained Siddhi and proved Mahimavantaru. The symbol on the head of Swamiji speaks the great ability and also it is a caution to all of us that if we do not follow the right path, the PRALAYA will occur soon. The recent flood was nothing but Jalapralaya.
Be honest and sincere in life. Do not indulge in injustice, selfishness and accumulation of wealth by any means. There is no end for the thirst of money. Thirst of Bhakti - Gnyana - Vairaagya have disappeared. The symbol is a caution a call to all of us that Mantralaya and Bichali are not tourist centres but they are the Divine Centres of Pilgrims and Siddhi. During Pralaya Sri Hari will be like that of symbol. So let us be honest and do justice to all :
Aano Bhadraaha Shrutavo Yantu Vishwataha.
Tasmai Brahma Cha Brahmaa Cha AYUHU KEERTIM PRAJAAN DADUHU
Let us live under the thick shadow and shelter of our Mantralaya where we find the Punya not one but 165 Teertha Kshetras. It is the Divine Siddhi Saakaara of our Gururayaru in Mantralaya. Below the Koormaasana shila Rayaru is residing in the Garbhaalaya in the long JAPA of Sri Hari not for himself nor for his sake, but for ourselves and our welfare. Let us try to understand what is JAPA?
JA means Janma Naasha
PA means Paapa Naasha
The sins of several births and rebirths will be wiped away and washed away by indulging in pronouncing the name of Sri Hari with devotion is JAPA. Mantralaya Rayaru daily takes the holy dip in Tungabhadra and performs Aahneeka,Anushthhaana, Japa at the Japadakatti Ek Shila Brindavana. So the greatest Devotees of Sri Appanacharyaru and Sri Krishnavadhootaru have worshipped Sri Raghavendrateertharu as their Aaraadhya Daiva and thus became pure and sacred.
Let us come to the auspicious number 108. Devotees it is heartening to know that there are 27 Nakshatras and each Nakshatra is having four Charanas. So when 27 is multiplied with four we get 108. There are twelve Rashis and each Rashi is having Nine Charanas - Charanaksharas. So when 12 is multiplied by 9 we get 108. All the Nakshatras, the Sun, the Moon are all you only Sri Hari, this is the symbol of 108.
Ashtottara Pathhana Chanting Sri Rayara Gurustotra for 108 times, that should be with full devotion, completely surrender, prostrate before Rayaru. We have now made it 1008, Sri Sri Sri and all. Ten times of 108 to express our respect and regard. By chanting we acquire Punya and Siddhi.
Again this 108 means many, it also denotes Sri Harisarvottama is only One.1 is Only Sri Hari. 0 our pride and prejudice must become Zero.8 We have to surrender and prostrate and Saashtaanga Namaskara is to be done. Then only we are able to achieve the Anugraha of our Sri Hari Vayu Guru Sri Raghavendraru. Sri Raghavendrateertharu is practicing even today though He is in Bhavya Divya Neela Brindavana and engaged in the continuous Japa of Sri Hari.
Dear Devotees, one more interesting point is to be noted that :
Sri Raghavendraya Namaha
Sri Appanaryaya Namaha
Sri Sushameendraya Namaha
All the three are Ashtakshari Mantra in Devanagari Script. Sri Sushameendrateertharu is Trikaalasmaraneeyaru, Puinya Chetanaru, Siddhi Maha Mahimaru, on the sacred yard of Tungabhadra(Tungeyangaladali) Manchalemma and Bichalemma has Blessed the holy Chetanas and thus we are benefitted a lot by all this in our life.
Dear Devotees we are bent with gratitude to
the kind concern, care and the affection of these personalities.
