Background

Meaning

Some people have questioned me that Rayaru is a Divine Saint why Rayaru didn't stop it and avert it. The answer is simple. Though Rayaru is Daivaamsha Sambhootaru  never exhibited the super power, lived and shined in accordance with  the rules of Manu Dharma.  Sri Hari asked Sri Raghavendrateertharu to do the Uddhaara of our Manukula living in this world only. Rayaru agreed and preferred to disappear from our eyes, stayed in the Brindavana, below the Brindavana.  Rayaru greatest Devotee Bichali Sri Appanarya  has  beautifully said in Sri Raghavendra Gadya and we hats off to this great work:

Entered Brindavana in the usual life span of Maanava Januma. Followed Manu Dharma and obeyed the order of Sri Hari. So Sri Raghavendra Yatiraat is sitting with Yoga Siddhi below the Brindavana GUHANTAR NIVESHA.

Instead of using the super power Rayaru prayed to Sri Hari to stop the wrath of Nature, havoc and panic which was prevailing seriously.

Prayed Sri Manchalemma :

Tam Brahmaanam Tam Rushim Tam Sumedhaam
Yataha Prasoota Jagataha Prasootee

Then the flood decreased slowly Tungabhadra resumed to the  normal and usual flow. Once the given Boon or the curse ( Vara Shaapa) cannot be taken by anybody except The Lord Sri Hari, the Omniscient and the omnipotent Sri Harisarvottama, Sri Rama ,Krishna, Sri Narahari, Vedavyasa, SriMannNarayana. So Rayaru prayed  for two days continuously  to Sri Hari  and protected the Sanctum of Mantralaya and Bhikshaalaya through the Anugraha Paramaanugraha of Sri Hari.

As you all know on this earth the ¾ of  land is occupied by water and only ¼ is left our dwelling. Water plays a very important role in our life. Our whole environment is completely based  and depended on the Blessings of Varunadeva. Timely rains, sufficient yield of crops and sumptuous drinking water are all the Prasada of Varunadeva. His wrath, displeasure will affect the human race. That we have experienced recently. So we the followers of Sri SriMadacharya perform Vaishwadeva after Naivedya and before Hastodaka. Very important to offer food to all the Tatvabhimani Gods.The Sadaachaara of our Sri Anandateertharu uphelds the right path of our religious activities.

Yatra Yati Bhunjate Harihi Tatra Bhunjate.

Pronouncing this shloka we offer Hastodaka to our Yatis after Vaishwadeva. Where Hastodaka is observed properly Lord Sri Hari will definitely accept with pleasure. So lot of importance is given to the Hastodaka to our  Mantralaya Sri Raghavendrateertharu.

Further we Mantralaya Devotees are closely associated with the Sacred Tungabhadra, right from Hampi YantroddhaaraSwami Hanumathadevaru, Anegundi Navavrundavana, Bichali and Mantralaya are on the Holy Bank of this Tungabhadra. So Bhaktaanugraha Premi GuruRayaru has protected the Japadakatti:

Daivee Sampattu in the most dignified as no one could imagine. As already said all the silver Naamas, eyes and even the siver Dandakshthaka placed on the Ek Shila Brindavana was quite  intact, safe and secure. Our Sri ShreedaVithalaru has said:

Kundade Vara Mantralayadalliruva
Karedallige Baruva Raghvendra GuruRayara Sevisiro
Neev Soukhyadi Jeevisiro

Rayaru actually protected the Bichali Japadakatti Ek Shila Brindavana installed by his beloved Devotee Sri Appanacharyaru. So nothing has happened. Though the kitchen,  dining hall, storeroom  and Goshaalas have simply fallen and washed  away. The Cows and the calves of our Japadakatti numbering about one hundred are quite safe. Goshaala we can construct, Fodder we can bring,

But what about the Sacred idols and our Ek Shila Brindavana which is open to the sky, if would have taken away nor damaged by flood. But nothing happened, Rayaru protected and proved a Miracle that He is Bhaktaanugraha Premi. Thus protected Siddhi Prada Punya Prada idols and no damage caused to Ek Shila Brindavana , even  to the Nagaloka. Nagaloka is of Devotees. Santanapekshi couples install Naga Shila Pratishthhaapana along with Deepa. As Sri Appanacharyaru has said in GURUSTOTRA :

Deepa Samyojanaat Gnyanam Putra Labho Bhavet Dhruvam

Dear world devotees here we feel what an amount of love and affection our Rayaru is having towards his devotees. The protection of  all this is proved that Rayaru liked Bichali. Every day Rayaru takes the holy dip in  Bichali Tungabhadra and perform Aahneeka, Japa at the Sanctum of  Japadakatti. So Rayaru took care of each  and everything. So it is quite safe.

Dear Devotees please do not say Rayaru was in water. Mother Tungabhadra desired to have a holy touch of Brindavana of Rayaru where we find 702 Sri Laxminarayana Saligraamas  and where Narahari Rama, Krishna, Vedavyasa are residing on the top of the Moola Brindavana. To acquire Punya Siddhi and to perform Pradakshina Tungabhadramma entered the praakaara of Rayaru.  By Pradakshina and Namaskara we acquire the punya of all the Yatras and Teerthhakshetras. So Tungamma entered the praakaara of SRSMutt. Bichali Sri Appanacharya has said in Sri Raghavendra Gurustotra:

Sarva Yaatra Phalavaaptai Yathhaa Shakti Pradakshinam

Tungabhadra loved Bhikshaalaya and Mantralaya. With due respect and regards guarded the two Sanctums  is the living example and  thus enhanced Siddhi of Sri Hari Vayu GuruRaghavendrateertharu. Now we are happy to see the normal flow of Tungabhadra. The flood was due to the abundant incessant rain of Varunadeva which from rushed from all the sides.
