Background

Meaning

Regarding the roads I always remember the USA,  beautifully connected the whole country through the road network. Maintenance of Roads, Restrooms and Resturas really appreciable.

When Rayaru started the journey after a while  in the broad daylight, they came across a desert like place. The Sun was too bright, severe hot prevailed everywhere. No trees, no water nothing. The Parivara felt  too much of thirst. Aparokshagnyani Sri Raghavendraru understood the whole situation and prayed to Sri Moola Ramadevaru to solve this grave situation. Under such circumstances the Dwarapaala  pregnant wife complained  about delivery pains. Dwarapaala came near the Meneye of Rayaru and detailed the condition and wept like a child. Merciful kind Rayaru felt pity and  immediately got down from Meneye and walked up to the cart where the Dwarapaala’s wife was sitting.

Rayaru said  dear child do not afraid you will have smooth and safe delivery by the  Blessings of our Sri MoolaRamadevaru and saw the Dwarapaala wife with a smile and showered sampurna karuna drushti. At this juncture a great Miracle took place:

Dear world devotees, as you all know Rayaru always engaged in the Japa of Sri Hari. Holding the Kamandalu in the left hand and closed the Kamandalu with the  palm of the right hand  chanting the Bhaageerathhi Stotra. Owing to the Boon of Sri Hari Gangamma highly pleased with Rayaru. Soon a stream of flow started from the Kamandalu. All amazed to see this Divine Scene of continuous flow water from the Kamanadalu in that desert. All drank the sweet water satisfied fully. The staff of the Vidya Mutt SRS MUTT  Filled the water in the  bigger vessels  of the Mutt and stored water. They simply pronounced  with devotional ecstasy :

Overwhelmed with joy to this Miracle of Gangadevi Prasanna on that desert only for the sake of the devotees, to protect them, save them. The Jaya Ghosha reached the sky. The Gods in the Heaven witnessed the Devotional Siddhi of Sri GuruRaghavendraru.. The Sahlaada Avataari Sri Manvi Jagannathadasaru has said:

Malala Margadali Lalane Prasootise
Pulina Kamandaladola Jala Torda

Praised the Miracle Mahima of our Sri Raghavendra Yatiraataru.

Rayaru satisfied the thirst of water. Now Rayaru  is providing  shadow shelter to the Dwarapaala wife  delivery. Rayaru threw the Shaati Sheshavastra which was on his back  to the sky. At a distance automatically it was spread as though four people are holding the shaati. Provide a wide thick shadow of  shelter. Rayaru asked the ladies of the staff to encircle her for delivery and asked the others to move from that place. Really at this juncture every body surprised to see the shelter and the kind concern of our Rayaru to the safe and smooth delivery of Dwarapaala’s wife. This is the greatest Anugraha of Sri Hari Sri Manthhaana Gopalakrishna - Sri Moola Ramadevaru. All the women highly contented under the thick shadow of the shaati sheshavastra.

Within no time all heard the voice of the crying child. Safe delivery by the Anugraha of our Sri Raghavendrateertharu. The Dwarapaala said to Rayaru : GuruRayare with your Anugraha my wife survived in this desert with water and shadow and safe delivery kula pitra is born, saying this with tears fell on the lotus feet of Rayaru. Rayaru said do not worry. Sri MoolaRama will protect the new born child and the mother. Sitting in the Meneye Rayaru was constantly praying to protect. The Mutt staff,. Satvikas,devotees and the shishyas indulged in expressing their happiness and shouted the slogans Ughe Ughe Gururaja GuruRayara Karuna Samudra Bhaktaanugraha Premi.

By the divine Raksha Kavacha of our Rayaru Dwarapaala wife delivery that too the first delivery became safe and normal and got a male child.. They all Spent a few hours there enjoyed the Fetival of Putrotsava and the Mahima of Rayaru. When they all said happily let us proceed our journey then only Rayaru started the journey. Rayaru never made any hurry nor hurt anybody. Always acted as per the will, wish and the desire of the devotees. Knowing all this in Sri Raghavendra Gurustotra the greatest devotee Bichali Sri Appanacharyaru has said :

Agamya Mahima Lokae Sri Raghavendro Maha Yashaaha
Sri Madhwa Mata Dugdaabdhi Chandrovatu Sadaa Anaghaha

Very beautifully stated that too extempore while crossing the river on the day of Shraavana Bahula Bidige.

Our Sri Shreeshavithalaru has said in one of his songs:

Nodele Manave Kondaadu Gurgala Paada
Eedu Illavo Punyake.

Devotees let us praise the Sacred Feet of our GuruRayaru, there is no limit for the Punya as Rayaru is having Akshaya Punya, growing day by day. The entire Punya is reserved for the devotees only, never used Rayaru for himself.

It is very rare to find such a Yatiraat, Gurusarvabhouma Sri Raghavendrateertharu. This Miracle of providing Water  and Shadow during the Pandharapura Yatraa is  a historical record in our SRS Mutt.  Pandit Sri Narayanacharyaru, the poorvashrama nephew of our Rayaru - son of Sow. Venkamma and Sri Lakshminarasimhacharya of Madhurai. has recorded in the famous Granthha  SRI RAGHAVENDRA VIJAYA.

Thus the journey started to reach the bank of Chandrabhaaga the Holy Kshetra of Vithala Sri Panduranga vithala Pandharapura.
