Background

Meaning

Mantralaya Brindavana Mandira Yatiraat appeared in the dream of Sri Appanacharya to wake up Sri Muddukrishnacharya (Krishnavadhootaru) and fall in line of the devotees of Mantralaya Rayaru towards the composition of SRI RAGHAVENDRA TANTRA  the  famous Siddhi  Granthha. When Rayaru asked Bichali Sri Appanacharya in the dream, at that time Sri Appanacharya was not in this world, how things happened owing to the divine power of Rayaru sitting below the Brindavana with Yoga Shakti.

The shloka is like this:

Paapeenaam Agraganyoham Dayaloonaam Tvamagraneehee
Tvam Vinaa Nahi Jaanena Anyam Maam Adya Uddhaarakaaranam.

Sri Krishnavadhootaru made an appeal to Sri Raghavendrateertharu that he is the first and the top in the list of sinners and  Mantralaya Yatiraat Sri Raghavendrateertharu's name is on the top of the kindest personalities. GuruRayare I know only you and no body else. Now you alone has to do my Uddhaara.

When I completely read the following famous composition of Rayaru in Kannada, I found this much of surrendering to our Sri Krishna by GuruRayaru:

The Devotional ecstasy of Rayaru is really superb. So I just quoted  with the above shloka of Sri Krishnavadhootaru. By listening the song, Sri Krishna realized the bhakta's greatness, nothing but Atma Nivedane and at the same time Rayaru playing the Veena with Bhairavee Raaga. Swami Sri Krishna became extremely happy and pleased. Rayaru enjoyed the Venu - Flute of Swami, slowly the Gejje Naada of dancing was also heard and finally Sri Krishna Paramatma gave Pratyaksha Drashana, appeared before Rayaru. Amazed to see the Mohanaakaara of Sri Krishna. Rayaru felt that his prayer, song has touched the heart of Sri Hari. The Ankita Dheera VenuGopala is agreeable to Sri Krishna. Now  Rayaru with pleasure seeing Swami BaalaGopala in front of him dancing and playing the flute. Sri Raghavendrateertharu looked, we can say gazed Sri Krishna from top to bottom intensely, the beautiful ornaments, the dress, the pleasing dance and forgotten the whole world at that moment simply lokking and looking Sri Krishna.

Rayaru said from several years I am in search of  Swami Darushana, today you have come my Lord. I AM HAPPY AND CONTENTED WITH YOUR DARSHANA. At last Sri Krishna stopped dancing and said what a saint you are? You are successful in fulfilling your will and  wish and made me to  dance in front of you ! How long I have to dance, My delicate feet - legs are paining, I am a small boy and you are simply enjoying? Rayaru with a gentle smile said I am here to  massage your feet and legs. Uttered:

ANORANEEYAAN MAHATOMAHEEYAAN

In the heart Rayaru said to himself that these are not the ordinary paadas - feet, your paada has sent Bali Chakravarthy to Paataala, your feet have crushed the wrath of Kaaling so Sri Krishna you are called KAALINGAMARDANA. Rayaru performed the Paadaseva of Sri Hari with the gentle massage and surrendered  by Saashtaanga, Rayaru placed his head on the sacred  feet of Sri Baala Gopala Krishna and said Swami your feet are now free from pain now ! Immediately Sri Krishna sat on the affectionate laps of Rayaru and embraced Rayaru putting his two hands to the neck. The Divine Touch of Sri Hari infused a sort of immense satisfaction and that cannot be described in words. We can say more than Brahmananda and Paramaananda.

Lord Sri Krishna - SriManNarayana - Sri Hari - Sri Srinivasa - Ramalola today you offered me your Pratyaksha Darshana. You embraced me in the form of BaalaGopala, how Fortunate I am? Sri Krishna asked Rayaru ask any Vara which you like ! Then Rayaru asked Paramatma please do not leave my hands. When my father Daityaasura Hirannyakashyapu cried with fear where is your Sri Hari? I Prayed you and immediately came to my rescue, through pillar you appeared. Like that please always listen to me and I can have your Darshana and also protect. Then Sri Krishna said to Rayaru :The Greatest Sri Haribhakta Sri Raghavendrateertha   Gurusarvabhouma Yatiraat, abundant punya karyas and miracles you are going to perform in the long run for the welfare of the sajjanas of this universe, So I will always dwell in your heart and supporting you. Oh ! GuruRaghavendra your Avatara Prahlada - Baahleeka - Vyasaraja - Raghavendrateertha are all my Sankalpa. You are born only  for the sake of Uddhaara of  Manukula for that noble cause I always favour you and whatever you ask immediately I will sanction. I  am really amazed to know that you are not at all selfish, not asking anything nor you are utilizing your punya for yourselves. So Raghavendrateertha My Anugraha is always with you, I wish you All Well for your JagaHita -  LokaKalyana. Baala Gopala Sri Hari sat on the laps of Rayaru for a long time and then disappeared.

At the sanctum of Udupi in the Garbhalaya Sri Raghavendrateertharu got the Darshana and the Divyanugraha of Sri Krishna, went on again and again remembering the scenes that happened, that remained in the heart permanently. So Rayaru said to Sri Krishna - Churner Sri Krishna - Kadagola Sri Krishna - Manthhaanaakaara Sri Krishna that my daily routine will be continued as you  have told for Lokakalyana  and remain grateful to you and Udupi, the dearest place of our Acharya Madhwaru. This is a great record in the history of our Rayara Mutt. As a mark of this great divine incident Rayaru placed an order to prepare an  idol - pratima of Baalagopala in gold Suvarna Baalagopalakrishna and made this as Upaasya Murty.
