Background

At the sanctum of Udupi Sri Raghavendrateertharu's  complete involvement towards the divinity of Sri Krishna - Churner Krishna - BaalaKriushna - Venugopala and Swami's  Anugraha are described in Mantralaya(298).

Not less than 10 - 12 times. The noble able shishyas were fortunate to avail this great golden opportunity. Rayaru's face was glittering with confidence in the teachings of Madhwa philosophy. Sri Hari Vayu Guru Anugraha on  our Rayaru cannot be described in words. The purest thoughts, philosophical outlook, creative works of Rayaru were completely  for the welfare of Manukula. So today the world is after Rayaru.

A sort of satisfaction and contentment Rayaru attained in Udupi. As already described our Rayaru has never wasted not even a single minute without any work in his routine. Rayaru continued the same busy schedule through  out his career even to the day of entering the Brindavana in Mantralaya. Always active, alert and following the Yati Dharma in Pooja, Adhyayana, Adhyapana, Chitana, Manthhana, Granthha Rachana and the Uddhaara of the devotees. Rayaru's concern and care to all of us is superb. During Yati and also in the Brindavana even to this day  is nothing but a boon to the world. Several important events, miracles took place during the period of  our Yativarenyaru, Karunaalu Sri Raghavendrateertharu. Among them the Saakshaatkaara of Sri Krishna in Udupi is also one and also important. The things described in the Mantralaya series are not imaginative. All are described with several facts and figures based on the famous work of  SRI RAGHAVENDRA  VIJAYA , written by the poorvashrama nephew of Sri Rayaru, the son of elder sister Venkamma  and brother in law of Madhuari Sri Laxminarasimhacharya. Very beautifully depicted, we can say chetohaari. We are lucky and fortunate that SRI RAGHAVENDRA VIJAYA is a great source to us.

Sri Raghavendrateertharu though worshipped all the Roopas of Sri Hari, but always fond of Sri Krishna Roopa. A great devotee of Sri Krishna.  Naama Smarane of Lord Krishna Rayaru felt delighted, pleasing and soothing. Swami Sri Krishna Naama Smarane Rayaru will forget the whole world, the most attractive Mohaka Roopa of Baala Krishna - Churner Krishna of Udupi filled the eyes inward eyes of Rayaru. We are unable to describe the devotional ecstasy of Rayaru, tears rolling from the eyes with happiness, wanted to spell out but the nerves of the neck became too tight. So cannot talk. Rayaru at that time experienced Brahmananda. When we come to know all these things, our heart simply thinks that what an amount of Punya the people of that time have acquired. As they have witnessed each and every incident of Sri Raghavendrateertharu.

It is quite interesting to know that Rayaru is really Blessed by Sri Hari - Sri Krishna in all the Janmas. Sri Prahlada -Sri  Baahleeka - Sri Vyasarayaru. In all the Janmas our Yatiraat has worshipped Sri Krishna with utmost devotion and gained the complete affection and the Anugraha of Sri Hari.

During the great war of Mahabharata circumstances came in such a way that Satvika Sri Baahleeka was made to join the group of Kouravas and has to fight against Pandavas though Sri Krishna was Pandava Paksha. Sri Baahleeka felt extremely sorry and unhappy and decided to end his janma in the hands of Sri Bheemasenadevaru. At that time Lord Krishna came to meet Sri Baahleeka. Welcomed nicely in a dignified way with all pomp and show and with grandeur.Sri Baahleeka requested Sri Krishna to sit in the golden chariot and that he desired to take the Lord Krishna in a procession. Sri Krishna said, Though you are fighting for the opposite party you have welcomed me with great devotion and honour. I am highly pleased towards you, always with you and Bless you. These are the wordings of Sri Krishna.

So with all these details we are happy about our extra ordinary Saint Sri Raghavendra  Gurusarvabhoumaru.
