Background

The celebration Sri Narasimha Jayanti, Sri Vedavyasa Jayanti and the importance of  the sacred Mantralaya  are described in Suladi by a great Haridasaru Uttanoor Sri Gopaladasaru are described in  Mantralaya(291).
 

Meaning

Anu Renu Truna Kaashtha Paripurna  Tena Vinaa Trunamapi Na Chalati.

There is no place without Sri Hari. As per the order of Sri everything is going on in  the world, even a small particle of grass will not move without his order.

Prahlada explained this to his father. Then is  your Hari  in this pillar?, yes, broke the pillar with his mace. The pillar got a  big crack in the middle, extraordinary brightness and terrible sound of roaring  frightened there, there appeared Swami in  Sri Narasimha Roopa in the furious mood and said come  Hiranyakshyapu I am here.That too in the evening twilight we can say  Pradosha kaala  on this day of Vaishakha Shukla Trayodashi. To keep up the faith, belief and promise given to his devotees swami took a special Avatara, what a noble, honest way to Bless his devotees. We are amazed to see the kind act of Sri Hari.

In Bhaagavata the same thing is upheld and made it clear to the whole world that  Prahladarajaru  is a great devotee of Sri Hari. Sri Prahaladarajaru was none but our great  Sri Raghavendraru in the previous janma.

When Hiranyakshyapu saw Sri Narasimhadevaru knew that his end had come in his hands even at that moment congratulated son prahlada that you called Hari, the enemy of Dyatya Kula, you are lucky and fortunate enough to have the Saakshatkaara of Sri Hari, Where in the Rushi - Munis go in search of him and indulge in Tapa. I am proud of you to have as my son. At this moment the wrath and the anger grew more, all feared, simply trembled to see the furious Ugra Roopa. Took Hiranyakshyapu on his lap, sat on the Hostilu, without using any arms and ammunitions with the  finger nails Sri Hari torn the stomach of Hiranyakashyapu and seeing his stomach. Haridasas have  described that Sri Narasimha is gazing at his stomach, as how many prahladas are there in the stomach. Though this was horrible, but there was no other option to kill Hiranyakshyapu owing to his Vara. Sri Narasimhadevaru wrath did not calm down and cool down. All were reluctant to go near Sri  Narasimhadevaru. It was Prahlada with courage and devotion came forward, stood before the Swami prayed a lot, chanted  Narasimha Stuti. By the devotional chanting and prayer  of Sri Prahladarajaru Sri Narasimhadevaru immediately became soft and laughing at him Blessed. Soon the wrath, furiousness wiped off. All the Devathas became extremely happy and appreciated the power of Bhakti UNALTERED BHAKTI of Sri Prahladarajaru and came to know the divine ability of our Rayaru previous janma Sri Prahladarajaru.

Dear devotees, it is important to know that Sri Hari took Sri Narasimha Avatara for the sake of Sri Prahladarajaru parama Bhaagavatottamaru and made it clear to the world that one should follow the path of Sri Prahladarajaru. Though we are reeling under the heat of this year severe summer, the grandeur of Sri Narasimha Jayanti is at its highest. In Shoorpaali, Toravi,Muttagi and Koppara Sri Narasimha Jayanti is celebrated on a grand scale. In all the houses of Madhwas special pooja, as  part of Narasimha Jayanti, Sulaadi of Sri Narasimhadevaru by Vijayadasaru and the Ashtottara of Gurustotra by Bichali Sri Appanacharyaru will be performed. In Mantralaya and Bhikshalaya the festival is superb.

At the Bhikshalaya - Bichali Japadakatti Mulabagilu Sri Sripadarajaru has done the pratishthhaapana of  Sri Ugra Narasimhadevaru, on this day of  Sri Narasimha Jayanti special pooja will be performed by the Vamshasthharu Archaka Sri Ramacharya and thus it became very dear to our Rayaru. Despite the hot summer devotees enjoy on this day by going to the sanctums and also in their respective houses with great devotion. On this day only our Sri Vedavyasadevara Jayanti, Vedavyasaru is none but Sri Hari in different Roopa. At this juncture it is quite appropriate to remember the Suladi of Uttanoor Sri Gopaladasaru also called as Sri Bhaagannadasaru, a great devotee of Mantralaya Rayaru, Most beloved shishya of Sri Vijayadasaru and has donated his life span Ayurdaana for the composition of Sri Harikathhaamrutasaara to Sri Jagannathadasaru. The Suladi is  towards our great Mantralaya Sri Raghavendrateertharu:

As Sri Prahladarajaru has performed the most sacred Yaaga in Mantralaya on the bank of the holy Tungabhadra river, so Rayaru decided to live in the Brindavana without giving up his body. Sri Hari  is fully  aware of the kind, affection and magnanimity of our Rayaru , said you Bless the devotees who so ever come to you on this earth, fulfill their desires I am here to sanction everything. So Sri Narasimhadevaru is on the top of  the Brindavana accepting the pooja daily, the pooja of Rayaru and  of the Archakas in Mantralaya. It is very crystal clear that  in Mantralaya Sri Narasimhadevaru Sacred Sannidhaana is in the Neela Bhavya Divya Brindavana of Sri Raghavendrateertha Gurusarvabhoumaru.

Sri Narasimhadevaru, Ramadevaru ,Krishnadevaru, Sri Vedavyasadevaru are all   accepting the pooja, as all these Gods are here with their entire parivara, our Sri SriMadacharyaru,Sri Jaiteertharu and several Elder Yatis  Sannidhaana in the Brindavana and also as already said 702 Laxminarayana Saligraamaas are in the Brindavana. So the world devotees are simply after Mantralaya to purify their ill deeds, bad luck and inexcusable sins. We are amazed to know to know even the Brahma Hatyaa Dosha( great sin of killing a Brahmin) also will be wiped off here as Sri Hari is in the Roopa of Sri Narahari - Narasimhadevaru. Our Uttanoor Sri Gopaladasru has described.

So on the day of Sri NarasimhaJayanti we remember Mantralaya Sri Raghavendrateertha  Gurusarvabhoumaru  and the celebration here has got its own value and importance. Swami Bhatavatsala Karunasamudra Sri Hari has definitely  responded to  the true, real,unalterable Faith and Belief of Sri Prahladarajaru, so appeared through the pillar when Hirannyakashyapu broke the pillar with his mace to punish the wicked and protect the Satvikas, Sajjanas and the Bhaktas, Bhaktas is our Sri Prahladarajaru  Sri Raghavendrateertha Gurusarvabhouma  and bestowed Moksha to Hiranyakshyapu from that Dyatya Janma.

In Mantralaya Series Sri Narasimhajayanti and Sri Raghavendrateertharu are closely related and it is better that our world devotees should know all such sacred matters and there by enhance the faith in Mantralaya Rayaru, acquire the Blessings of our Yatiraat and live with prosperity,contentment and happiness.
