Meaning

Sri Sushameendrateertharu performed the Seva of Sri MoolaRamadevaru for more than 25 years, loved Mantralaya and blessed the devotees. Always smiling, calm and quiet, The pleasing personality was in accordance with his name , Su means good, Shama means peace, Calm and quiet nature, self control, control over the heart ManoNigraha. I have never seen the anger of our swamiji neither disgusted nor scolded any body. Really Karuna Samudra Bhaktavatsala and in practice the name was quite appropriate. Today to write was my heart simply cries, always see the divine personality through my inward eyes. Apart from all that Sri Sushameendrateertharu was the greatest devotee of Rayaru. During His period large number of Moola Mruttika Brindavanas have taken place and the Rayara Mutts have grown enormously and functioning meticulously through out the length and the breadth of our country. Not only our country but in USA and Singapore also. Where ever the devotees are there they feel that they are in Mantralaya through the devotees websites and srsmutt.org. Swamiji encouraged for all this and irrespective of caste, creed, religion and nation and worked for the betterement of Manukula - Manukula Uddhaara.

One more point I wish to share with all the devotees is that Sri Sushameendrateertha was sworn as Swamiji at the abode of Siddhi of Bichali. As already described in the previous series, here in Bichali Sri Rayaru comes daily and takes the holy dip in the Tungabhadra, then ahneeka,anushthaana and japa on the bank at the Japadakatti where the EkShila Brindavana is existing. As per the wordings given to Sri Appanacharya Rayaru is appearing daily in the form of Jyoti in Bichali. So the most siddhi kshetra the sworn in ceremony is also responsible for the success and the siddhi of Sri Sushameendrateertharu.

Sri Sushameendrateertharu always thinking of a big spacious dining hall to the devotees for the Anna Santarpana. One day Swamiji prayed in front of Rayara Moola Brindavana with great devotion to fulfill this. Within a week a devotee from Gangavati by name Sri Ranganagowda came to Mantralaya, met the swamiji and said that he likes to donate a huge amount for the construction in Mantralaya. Then Swamiji said it may cost one crore. Sri Ranganagowda said he will donate not one crore but two crores and performed the sankalpa of two crores in front of Rayaru and Sri Sushameendrateertharu felt extremely happy and said with joy that Rayaru has listened our request. This is an example of Kratu shakti and Ichcha Shakti of our Sri Sushameendrateertharu. Several felicitations to the scholars of Madhwa Philosophy, creative work, Anugraha Prashasti in cash and kind were all the master mind of Swamiji.Not only this our greatest devotee of Gangavati Sri Ranganagowda magnanimously donated 2.5 crores for the construction of a big Sabha Bhavana Sri Ranga Sabha Bhavana.

Mantralaya became Amaravati by our Sri Sushameendrateertharu, there are many more achievements but a few are mentioned here. We can say Vidya Muttas multifarious development took place by Sri Sushameendrateertharu in the most decent and meticulous way. One more speciality of our Swamiji was that he never boasted that too in the thick gatherings. Always said I have done nothing, Rayaru is doing by the Divine Power. Daily in his routine Swamiji was taking the name of Rayaru not less than hundred times. The dreams of Sri Sujayeendrateertharu were really became true, materialized by this 38th.pontiff Sri Sushammendrateertharu.

The Blessing of Swamiji was unique and special. Always happily pronouncing the name of Rayaru, handful of Mantrakshate,sugar candy,dry coconut,Sheshavastra, Sarva Siddhi Yantra were liberally given by Sri Sushammendrateertharu will not be forgotten by the devotees. The icy hand of Kaala snatched our swamiji on Chaitra Bahula Bidige as our Rayaru entered Brindavana SaShareera on Shraavana Bahula Bidige.

The grandeur of the final procession of the body of our Sri Sushameendrateertharu in Mantralaya round the praakara of Rayara Brindavana with elephant and paraphernalia reminded the Procession of Rayaru on Shraavana Bahula Dwiteeya from the Sri Venkateshwara Temple in Mantralaya. Sri Sushameendrateertharu wordings have become true always. What ever he has Blessed they have become real. Once a boy asked when his sister wedding will take place Swamiji uttered this phaalguna. Definitely got married in that Phaalguna of 2001.There are many more miracles performed by Sri Sushameendrateertharu.

I met the Swamiji with my son on the last day of Pushkara in Mantralaya on December 12th.2008. Perhaps that was the last Darshana of our Sri Sushameendrateertharu. Though on wheel chair, Blessed Phala Mantrakshate and Sheshavastra to me and my son. My grandsons Abhinavpurna and Vishrut are Blessed by our Sri Sushameendrateertharu in Mantralaya in the year 2005 for Saraswatipooja and Aksharabhyaasa.I am grateful and bent with gratitude for the kind Blessings of our Divine Swamiji.

Now Sri Sushameendrateertharu is in the Brindavana of Mantralaya along with Sri SudharmendrateertharuSri Suvrateendrateertharu, Sri Suyameendrateertharu and Sri Sujayeendrateertharu. What ever Seva,Alankara,Hasodaka are offered to Rayaru will be offered to these Yatis. How punyavantaru was our Sri Sushameendrateertharu! His Brindavana is in the abode of 702 Laxminarayana Saligraamas of Rayara Brindavana. The world devotees will always remember Sri Sushameendrateertharu Daivaamsha Sambhootaru.
