Background

From the Temple City of Madhurai Rayaru went to SriRanga Kshetra and there he conducted Gnyana Satra,Paatha Pravachana and the propagation of Madhwa Philosophy are described in Mantralaya(281).
 

Meaning

It is very clear that Sri GuruRayaru spent the most precious part of his lifetime in Kumbhakonam,Tanjore,Madhurai and SriRangam. Along with the able and the noble students of our Vidya Mutt hundreds together availed the benefit of Rayaru's pravachana and paatha. As already described Rayaru Varaputra of Sri Saraswatidevi.Rayaru started the paatha from the beginning of our Sri SriMadacharya philosophy right from :

• Dashopanishattu
• Bhaashya Brahmasutra Bhaashya
• Rug Bhaashya
• Geeta Bhaashya

When Rayaru started the lessons Rayaru was completely immersed in the realm of knowledge, devotion and divinity with full involvement and concentration. In sankrit we say Taadaatmya - Tanmayate. That is possible only to the real Yogi and not for others. The Satvikas and the Mutt attendants completely gave their hearts to Rayaru. Simply surrendered to the divine personality of Sri Raghavendrateertharu. Though Rayaru a great and profound scholar, Grantha Rachana was the main motto, always indulged in Adhyayana and Adhyapana. Many have experienced that when Rayaru is holding the discussion on certain subjects, they felt as though the divine Goddess Sri Saraswati is dancing on his sacred tongue. Many have given their hearts and became the followers of Rayaru. Many  divine ideas  and thoughts have blossomed through the Pratibha -  imagination of Rayaru with appropriate meaning in accordance with our Acharya Tatvas.

The joy, pleasure, punya and the satisfaction of our satvikas and the students of Vidya Mutt  is beyond our describe in the mere words. Because Rayaru always had the everlasting zeal and enthusiasm. Entered deep into the knowledge, there by found the pearls of knowledge and gist and thought the same was liberally distributed  to the able and the noble shishyas and the satvikas.Really Rayaru a great Punya Murty full of Sarasa Sajjanike, very humble and pleasing, so I  described Rayaru:

The flow of Kaveri is very forceful and wide  in Sri Ranga, as it will be joining the Sea  after moving a short while, that place is called as Kaveri Samudra Sangama. Rayaru's holy dip in Kaveri, Darshana of Sri Ranganthaswami, the style of  teaching the lessons with a smile,  quoting beautiful examples and making the point clear was appreciated by large. Those who were there with Rayaru have really made punya in their life.

The routine of  Sri GuruRayaru in SriRanga was as below:

Get up at Braahmee Muhurta, Mruttika Shoucha, Kaveri Snaana,Aahneeka Anushthaana,    GOVATSA POOJA,Swami Ranganatha Darshana, morning paatha till 11am.Meeting with the devotees and at 12noon Kaveri Snaana, Sri MoolaRamadevara Pooja with great devotion and grandeur, Naivedya,Hastodaka, MahaMangalarati and then Bhikshaa with the devotees. Rayaru himself a great SATSANGA. Then again at 4pm paatha to the students of Vidya Mutt, 5.30 evening Pravachana till 6.30pm and evening Snaana in Kaveri. Deeparadhana Sri MoolaRamadevara  pooja,Cradle seva to Ramadevaru, Mahamangalarati and interaction with the devotees pertaining to several matters  and  Phala Mantrakshate Asheervachana. The Holy Schedule of Rayaru is nothing but the essence of life, living and Paaramaarthika. At the end of the day Sri Raghavendrateertharu will surrender the whole thing to Sri Hari, we can say SarvaSamarpana.

The multifarious divine personality of our Yatiraat is beneficial to the Manukula by leaps and bounds. Always we imagine what an amount of punya the people at that time have made and had the golden opportunity to witness all this. As the Chaaturmaasa was coming to an end Rayaru performed the Seemollanghana Ceremony for a day then stayed in SriRanga for the  next six months and continued the Paatha and Pravachana in SriRanga. It seems the heart of Rayaru throbbed for Sri Ranganthaswami always so stayed there for some more days and reluctant to separate from Sri Rangantahswami. It is the fortune and the luck of Tamil Nadu that Rayaru spent the major part in those sanctums only.

Our Pandit Sri Narayanacharya has said in Sri Raghavendra Vijaya:

The devotees simply flowed in the stream of Gnyana Satra and attained Paramaananda. Each and every action of Nitya Naimittika of Rayaru was in accordance with our Acharya's Sadchara. The Madhurai sajjanas felt happy that their arrival to SriRanga became meaningful.

On the last day at Sri Ranga Rayaru took the holy dip in Kaveri along with Sankalpa, took the divya Darshana of Sri Ranganthaswami and offered the whole credit at the lotus feet of Sri Ranganatha. Swami Sri Hari this is all yours, I am only the doer as per your will and wish:

Sri Raghavendrateertharu practically followed this always, throught out in all the Janmas. So today the punya has increased to the height of our sacred Himalaya.

The Noble task of preaching and advocating the Tatva Sri Harisarvottama  and VayuJeevottama is conducted in the most versatile manner by our Sri GuruRayaru, Mantralaya Sri Raghavendrateertha Gurusarvabhouma Yatiraataru on the sacred bank of Kaveri at SriRanga Kshetra.
