Such a kind merciful pontiff Sri GuruRayarus birth day falls on on Phalguna Shukla Saptami. To celebrate this grand festival, devotees are rushing to Mantralaya and Bhikshaalaya to enjoy the sanctity of Japadakatti on this most memorable holy day.

Now in the Mantralaya Series we have just witnessed the grand procession of Rayarus Bhaatta Sangraha in Madhurai on the elephant with golden ambari arranged by king Tirumalanayaka and his chief minister Neelakantha Dixit. Which was attended and witnessed by the entire Madhurai on that day. Jaya Ghosha Jaya Sri Raghavendrateertha, Jaya Sri GuruRaghavendra the 17th.pontiff of our Vidya Mutt Rayara Mutt. When that was echoing in Madhurai in the Mantralaya Series, the sacred phalguna shukla saptami, the auspicious day has really blossomed our hearts. So now there is an usual gathering in Mantralaya to be present for the day - birth day of Rayaru.

Sri Prahladaraja,Sri Baahleekaraja,Sri Vyasarajaru has taken birth as Sri Veena Venkatabhattaru, Gautama gotra Shashtheeka Vamsha Beegamudre family and for the sake of us became Yati as Sri Raghavendrateertharu. Phalguna Shukla Saptami was March 06th.1595 at that time. Now this year it fell on Tuesday March03rd.2009. GuruRayaru took birth for our Uddhaara to distribute the abundant Himalayan height of accumulated punya of all the janmas and even to this day today the accumulation is going on even after liberally distributing. It is the wish of Rayaru and the Sankalpa of Sri Hari. So Sri Raghavendrateertharu is indulged in the long Japa of Sri Hari in Mantralaya since August 11th.1671.Friday Shraavana Bahula Bidige in  the cave under the Bhavya Divya Neela Brindavana.

Majority of the people always do knowingly or unknowingly commit grave mistakes. They are in the realm of Raaga Dwesha. They hurt and speak of ill to satvikas, Swottamas, Stottamas  and specially to the devotees of Rayaru and go on enhancing their paapas. Rayaru is so kind that he listens even their calls and fulfill their desires for the first time. If they commit the same thing, the insult of his Mantralaya  devotees, Rayaru will simply be far from them. For such people there is no place in Mantralaya and in the heart of our Karunaalu Sri Raghavendrateertharu. Rayaru is Bhaktavatsala, Bhakta Premi, Bhaktaadheena. When such devotees are disheartened Rayaru will feel for them and will be far away from those wicked elements and take special care of his devotees. The greatest disciple - devotee of Bichali Sri Appanacharyaru while crossing the river Tungabhadra to reach Mantralaya from Bichali Japadakatti  which was overflowing due to spate, in  the middle of the river only through Ashukavitva expressed his experience in the Gurustotra - Sri Raghavendra Stotra in the 14th shloka:

Actually prayed Rayaru that in this life Samsaara never ending sorrows and miseries are filled completely. Just as in the river several cruel creatures are present, so also in our life, several misleading, misconceptions Bhrama Durbhrama. I am being carried away by all these things, Oh! Prabhu GuruRaghavendra you are the only Chetana to lift me, Save me and Bless me. So Dear World Devotees Rayaru has taken Avatara for the sake of us, to protect and to do good and Uddhaara to all of  us. Born in Tamil Nadu in Bhuvanagiri, Veena Pandita family,Shashtheeka Vamsha,Gautama Gotra,Beegamudre family. Mother tongue Tamil Marathi, we can say Saurashtra Marathi and efficient in all the languages. We can say that Rayaru is Sakala Bhaasha Panditaru.

As already described our Mantralaya Sri Raghavendrateertharu talked in English  with Sir Thomas Munro and saved the entire belongings of the Sri Mutt, which was about to be taken by the then British Government. This is a record in the Madras Gazzetter. Owing to the Phalguna Shuddha Saptami the Chennai Devotees offer Naadahaara Sangeeta Seva Samarpana in Mantralaya. Today abundant devotees from Tamil Nadu are visiting Mantralaya - Bhikshaalaya - Anegundi Navavrundana and attain the Blessings of Rayaru, Appanacharyaru, Yantoddhaara Praanadevaru and perform the ghee Abhisheka to Maruti situated in the Navavrundavana and bow with devotion to the most sacred and the most noble Yatis of Navavrundavana, a very historical, epical importance of  Navavrundavana had become the center of Devotion to the world devotees.

Mantralaya Sri Raghavendrateeru listens and enjoys the Naadahaara with keen interest and Blesses  the devotees. Rayaru is always in favour of his devotees.  We can describe that always Uordhwamukha. But during Aradhana,Jayanthi,Utsava,Paatabhisheka  Rayaru will be Blessing. So the devotees wish to attend such functions in Mantralaya without fail and acquire the Anugraha of Rayaru. They will not care for the summer Sun nor the rain of Shraavana. Because their Belief, Faith is strong towards our Rayaru.
