Our Rayaru even today following the same. Our heart is filled with gratitude. In the previous series it is already known that our Mantralaya Yatiraat is Sri Prahlada Avatari. Hirannyakashyapu the daitya decided to kill Prahlada. So he tried  several different cruel methods. Daitya made him to fall from the highest mountain, planned to crush Prahlada by the elephants legs, pushed the bala Prahlada in the dungeon where venomous serpents were simply doing hissing - phootkaara. But Prahlada was never afraid of any thing, nor he  prayed jeeva daana to his father. Owing to the strong devotion towards Sri Hari he felt happy that he got sufficient time to perform the japa of Sri Hari. As Prahalada was in endless japa, Yama Mrutuyu had no courage to touch Prahlada, so the vicious deadly creatures never came near.  Prahlada always indulged and completely involved in the japa of Sri Hari is really great ,Rayaru is dhanyaru,trikaalasmaraneeyaru.
 

When we see all this we remember the incident of Bhaagavata. Hirannyakshyapu came to know from Sri Narada maharshi that a great Sri Hari Bhakta is in the punyagarbha of  his wife Kayaadhu and she is going to deliver a divine devotee of Sri Hari.Hirannyakashyapu immediately took his sword and raised his hand to kill. Naradaru asked him not to kill. I will take Kayaadhu with me and leave her in the thick forest where wild animals are dwelling. So averted the killing and asked Kayaadhu to follow him. After  going a little far she sat under the shadow of a big tree as she was pregnant she was tired a lot. Sri Naradaru said I will describe you the Mahima of Sri Hari and you go on listening. She said yes. Owing to the tiredness Kayaadhu in the sitting postion only closed her eyes and slept for a while. Naradaru went on telling the Mahima of Sri MannNarayana  Sri Hari, the child in the womb was intensely listening and was pronouncing haa haa(yes)  Naradaru stunne! d to hear this. Shankukarna who is taking birth as Prahlada in the womb of Kayaadhu has already listened Hari Bhakti when he was in the punyagarbha of his mother. We can say that the  upadesha of Sri Hari to Prahladarajaru was a born instinct.  We are proud that Prahalada a born devotee and not a made devotee. All  the total sum accrued punya in our Mantralaya Rayaru to Bless the world devotees. Today our Mantralaya prabhu Sri Raghavendra teertharu’s  bhakti, gnyana,vairaagya,paanditya are all superb and he is second to none for all these noble qualities. Bichali Sri Appanacharyaru a great devotee of Rayaru has described in Sri Raghavendra Mangalashtaka:

Samyami fully self controlled all the panchendriyas are controlled and won by Sri Sudheenrateerthara’s Shishyaru is our Rayaru. So Rayaru is Jitavaru. Through ekantha bhakti and dhyaana Rayaru a great devotee has pleased Sri Hari and attained the divine powerRayaru is like a lion to the group of elephants of Mithyavaada and kuvaadi. Such a kind and great Yatiraat Sri Raghavendrateertharu will always Bless.
 

This Praajyadhyaana and upaasana Rayaru has attained long during Prahlada avatara that too when he was in the mother’s womb. From that stage and that day Rayaru has done extensively the task of Sri Harisarvottamatva to the world All these things bhakti,gnyana, vairagya, Sri Hari bhakti are introduced by Bichali Sri Appanacharya as he was the antaranga bhakta of Rayaru. For this divine and noble work only Sri Appanacharya took his birth in Bichali on the sacred bank of Tungabhadra. Appanacharya’s gratitude is unforgettable to all of us. We owe a lot to this great personality. We are fortunate to have Bichali Sri Appanacharya the greatest devotee of Rayaru.

After remembering Bhaagavata Kayaadhu, we remember a great pontiff Sri Vadirajaswamigalu.A great divine chetana has composed Sri Laxmishobhaane  and Sri Rukmineesha vijaya are the  masterpiece of his literature. Sri Vadirajaswamiji was and is famous and popular as Bhavee Sameerararu. In Sri Rukmineeshavijaya Sri Vadirajaru described that Sri Narasimhadevaru came out from the pillar with a great sound took Hirannyakashyapu on his lap and through the nails torn the entire stomach of Daitya Hirannyakashyapu and peeped into the stomach, that how many Haribhaktas are still in his womb, as Prahlada was his son. What a beautiful description!

Devotees the total accumulation of all the Haribhakti,punya,gnyana, panditya,vairagya,paropakaara,uddhaara,the samskaara of all the janmas deposited in Rayaru is for our uddhaara. Again we hats off to Bichali Sri Appanacharyaru for Sri Raghavendra Gurustotra:
