Today though the Hampi has lost its glory, pomp and show, but still the inner beauty is overflowing and always alive. The younger generation will inspire a lot chaitanya chetohaari.
In this Hampi Sri VidyaranyaYativarya and all the dwaitayatis have stayed and attained the highest siddhi. The sacred family Shashtheeka Vamsha Gautama Gotra Beegamudrae family of Mantralaya Rayaru’s ancestors lived in Hampi and the emperors of Vijayanagara have regarded and respected a lot, owing to the knowledge, devotion and efficiency in all the sixty four kalas. Filling all these noble ideas and things in our mind, we have to take leave from Hampi with a heavy heart and move towards the sacred Anegundi, which is about 30 kilometers from Hampi.
On the way to Anegundi we enjoy an extraordinary feeling. On the road side we find the hilly extension, full of greenery on both the sides with rich trees and the water is always flowing through the canals of Tungabhadra. With all this nature’s gift Anegundi is welcoming the devotees with affection to the world famous Navavrundavana, the motherland of our greatest yatis of our dwaita peetha.
Before reaching Anegundi we have take a right turn and go through that road and we find the famous temple of Sri Laxmidevi, very siddhi and jaagruta the emperors and the residents near by Vijayanagara were the devotees. Even to this day the residents of Koppal,Hosahalli,Huligi,Kanakagiri,Kaushtagi,Gangavati visit every Friday along with usual pilgrims. The special pooja is performed on every Friday. They are all the worshippers and the devotees. Goddess Laxmi is Bestowing the devotees at its highest we can say.
In front of the temple we are simply amazed to see the pond Pushkarani, very spacious big Honda pushkarani. It is very famous and popular as PAMPASAROVARA the dimension of the sarovara is 250feet in length and 250feet in breadth. Always the lotus flowers are filled and the scene of blossoming of the lotus flowers is worth seeing at this sanctum. Beautifully constructed by stone. steps are all on the four sides to the bottom of the sarovara. Pampasarovara reminds the anugraha of Sri Hari Vayu Guru and delights the devotion of Mantralaya Sri Raghavendrateertharu.
When ubhayashreepadangalavaru Sri Sudheendrateertharu and Sri Raghavendrateertharu started sanchara, they have visited the sacred Pampasarovara and Sri Laxmidevi Temple. Both have performed the Aahneeka Japa Tapa on the bank of Pampasarovara. Both the swamijis were quite happy and contented while visiting the temple. Both were going to Anegundi Navavrundavana along with the Mutt paraphernalia, no body knew the future, but only Sri Sudheendrateertharu and Sri Raghavendrateertharu knew as they were aparokshagnyanis. That guru the senior pontiff Sri Sudheendrateertharu has decided to attain the heavenly abode and the Brindavana at the sanctum of this most sacred Anegundi Navavrundavana.
Aparokshagnyani GuruRaghavendraru knew the secret of the philosophy, but even then reluctant to separate from his beloved guru Sri Sudheendrateertharu. At this sanctum only Sri Raghavendrateertharu took the complete charge of the Mutt and the Pooja of Sri Moola Ramadevaru. As already described only by uposhana the great guru survived for a week and attained the Brindavana. At this Navavrundavana Hampi remembering our Poorva Yatis Rayaru presented the charama shloka with Asrutarpana:
KushagraMatayae BhanuDyutae Vaadi Bheetae
Aaraadhita Shreepatayae Sudheendra Yatae
Namaha.
Our Sri Jagannathadasaru has said in one of his padas:
Sri Surendraryara PraputrarenipaSudheendra
Vyasarayara Srinivasa Muniya
Bhoosuraru Paramasantoshadali Smarise
NirDosharene Maadi Abhilashe Pooraisutiha
Devategalivaru Sandhea Pade Salla
Mithyavadigala Paraabhavara Maadi
Ee Vasundhareyolage Keertiyutaraagi
Laxmivara Jagannathavithalanaidihara
Sri Sudheendrateertharu is the grand maanasa
putra Praputra - Poutra of Sri Surendrateertharu, guru of Sri Vijayeendrateertharu
and the shishya of Sri Vyasarajaru are very holy and siddhi yatis, by remembering
these yatis all our doshas, defects, sins will be vanished. These yatis
are really Gods and there is no doubt about that, Sri Jagannathadasru the
author of Sri Harikathamrutasaara has clearly described. We are proud and
punyavantaru for this legacy and the sacred heritage.
