Background
The importance of Dhanurmaasa and the Miracle
of Ibharamapura’s Appa by the Blessings of Mantralaya Sri Raghavendra
Gurusarvabhoumaru are described here in Mantralaya(214) – Ibharamapura
Darshana -14.
Meaning
Dhanurmaasa is the dawn (Arunodaya) of Sri in
the Vaikuntha Loka. Owing to this auspicious time Pooja, Alankara and Naivedya
and Aaradhana of Sri Hari will be observed at all the sanctums. In Mantralaya
and Bhikshaalaya - Bichali which are situated on the Sacred bank
of Tungabhadra, the grandeur of Dhanurmaasa cannot be described in mere
words. One should experience personally. In Bichali the Tungabhadra river’s
soothing sound I feel Sri Harisarvottama Vayjeevottama and Bichali
Sri Appanacharya Priya Mantralaya Sri Raghavendrateertha Gurubhyo Namaha.
The Holy Madhwarayara Gundu and Sannyasikatti where Rayaru used to sit
meditate and ponder the rich philosophy of Sri Anandateertharu and chat
with Bichali Sri Appanacharya are in the Sacred flow of Tungabhadra like
an island today and mark the glory of the past. Though Rayaru is in Brindavana
in Mantralaya, even today at the holy Bichali Japadakatti, the house
of Sri Appanacharya many Devotees have witnessed the Sanchaara of Gururaya
in Jyoti Roopa. we are grateful and proud to have all this rich heritage
and divine legacy. Japadakatti Ek Shila Brindavana is too adjacent
to the river, Tungamma is allowing the devotees to take the holy dip. The
immense silence and the profound calmness is welcoming the world
devotees without any prachaara. The Sober, Satvika Sajjana Vamshashtharu
of Sri Appanacharya are describing in detail and advocating the Siddhi
of Sri Sripadarajaru, Sri Vyasarayaru, Sri Jitamitrateertharu and Sri Raghavendrateertharu.
Bichali Japadakatti Siddhi Kshetra – Saadhana of Sri Appanacharya a great
devotee of Rayaru.
To propitiate Rayaru, to gain the Anugraha
of Rayaru, the chanting andf pathana of Gurustotra of Appanacharya is most
essential. Our Sondur Sri Krishnavadhootaru and Ibharamapura’s Sri Krishnacharya
– Appa have shined by this Gurustotra:

By Gurustotra Pathana our life will
be complete with all the requirements and desires will be fulfilled. Gurustotra
is Sarvswa to the world devotees today. To attain the Affection Anugraha
of Mantralaya Sri Raghavendrateertharu Appanacharya’s Gurustotra
is the main source to all of us. The Ashtottara Shata Seva Samiti at Bichali
is fulfilling the desires of the World devotees and devotees have believed
that it is Kamadhenu.
Dear Devotees I wish to share the Miracle
and the greatness of Ibharamapura’s Appa a great devotee of
Mantralaya Mantralaya Rayaru. Once a Satvika Brahmin, Sri YogiNarayanacharya
who was always with Appa performing the Seva of Appa desired to go for
Teertha Yatra and visit the Holy Sanctums. As the desire grew he expressed
his desire to Appa. Appa said we shall talk tomorrow regarding that and
asked the YogiNarayanacharya to sleep in his room that too at his head
side. He did the same.
That night he got a great dream. In the dream
he performed the Yatra as he desired and visited the Sanctums of Kasi,Gaya,Mathura
Ayodhya,Badari,Puri,Rameshwara. Listened the importance of those Holy Kshetras
and the Kshetraabhimani Gods and their Mahimas. In the dream only after
the completion of the Yatra , the Brahimin returned to his place and arranged
the Devara Samaaradhane and with folded hands to all the Brahmins and the
Suhasinis pronounced loudly SRIKRISHNARAPANAMASTU. All the people in the
Appa’s house were awakened by pronouncing Sri Krishnaarpanamastu.
Appa asked why did you shout? what happened to you?
Appa’s shishya YogiNarayanacharya immediately
began describing his Yatra in the dream as per his plan and enjoyed thoroughly
as he has seen with his own eyes. Tears were rolling from his eyes with
joy and happiness. That night the shishya brahmana YogiNarayanacharya
of Appa slept with Appa and the sannidhaana of Appa simply made him to
take the Yatra in his dream. Appa fulfilled his desire by the Blessings
of Mantralaya Rayaru. When the shishya forgotten to describe some
points Appa reminded him some points. In the dream only Narayanacharya
concluded the Yatra Samaaradhana. Appa’s Anugraha cannot be described my
mere words.

in Sri Krishnarya Kathamrutasara. It is great divine witness:

Appa’s ability, capacity were all of
Mantralaya Rayaru’s Anugraha, Bichali Sri Appanacharya’s Gurustotra’s Siddhi.
With all this Ibharamapura’s Appa has rendered a great service to the devotees,
residing on the bank of the sacred Tungabhadra. Mantralaya devotees are
always gratitude to this great Chetana Ibharamapura’s Appa. It is heartening
to know that Swamiraya of Kosigi(Koushika Kshetra), Sri Gurujagannathadasaru,
who proclaimed to the world :
NAMBI KETTAVARILLAVO EE GURUGALA, a great
devotee of Mantralaya Rayaru was born by the Anugraha of Appa.
