Background

Meaning

So we call Rayaru as Manukulada Uddhaarakaru (always doing welfare to the human race). Madhwamata Harikaara ­ Shreekaara and Saakaara. Many have asked questions, why Aradhana of Rayaru is celebrated on this large scale, why not for other Yatis ? There is only one answer to this Question. In the Mantralaya Rayara Brindavana we find the Sannidhaana of all the sacred Yatis :

Sri Sri Madwacharya,
Sri Jaiteertharu,
Sri Vyasarayaru,
Sri Vijayeendrateertharu,
Sri Sudheendrateertharu etc.

They are Sannihita with affection. All the Gods, all the Tatvabhimani Gods are in the Brindavana. Regarding this I will be describing in detail in the next Series of Mantralaya(199). On the Sacred bank of Tungabhadra where Rayaru is in Brindavana, that is the most Siddhi Place during Mahabharata and Prahlada Avatara. The Essence and the cream of Sri Madacharya Philosophy Hanuma ­ Bheema ­ Madhwa’s teachings are being widely spread in Vidya Mutt. So each one is coming forward to become pure, attain and get satisfaction in this life.

So Rayara Aradhana grandeur is increasing day by day. Mantralaya Karunaalu all the Vaibhava immediately dedicates to Sri Hari, and to the great Yatis who are the main source for all this. This gratitude of Sri Raghavendrateertharu is the speciality of Rayaru. Rayara Aradhana means the Aradhana of Sri Hari, Aradhana of all the punya chetanas. Aradhana means worship, Remembering with gratitude. Devotees knowing the prominence of this are celebrating Rayara Aradhana in Mantralaya, Honnali,Bichali, Anu Mantralaya - the first Mruttika Brindavana of Rayaru in Tungabhadra station now called Mantralayam Road and also through out the world. Three days Aradhana ­ Poorva Aradhane ­ Madhya Aradhane ­ Uttara Aradhane and obtain the Anugraha of Mantralaya Rayaru. When we just observe towards all this we are simply thrilled. The personality of Rayaru is unique. Bichali Sri Appanacharyar’s Eight Sholkas Mangalashtaka itself is the witness for the greatness of Rayaru. Now I wish to quote the third Shloka of Mangalashtaka:

SaalankaarakaKavyaNatakaKalaKaanaadaPaatanjala
TrayairthaSmarutiJaimineeyaKavitaSanggetaPaaranagataha
VipraKshatraVidanghriJaataMukharaanekaPrajaSevitaha
Sri Mat
SadguruRaghavendraYatiraatKuryaatDhruvamMangalam.

Even our Haridasas of Karnataka have composed Padas,Suladis, Keertanas pertaining to the philosophy of our Sri Sri Madcharyaru and also Yatis in the simple language so that all can understand and follow.During the times of Aradhana they have rendered the noble seva in the interest of the devotees. So Mantralaya is Sanctity of Almameter we can say. The same practice is being continued.

On the Eve of Aradhana we cannot find a devotee who is not chanting Bichali Sri Appanacharya’s Sri Raghavendra Gurustotra. Almost everywhere and all will be chanting,Pathana of Gurustotra. Sitting in the Brindavana in Mantralaya Rayaru is always observing the activities of His devotees and do good and fulfill. On the day of Uttara Aradhana in Mantralaya we will witness the concluding function SarvaSamarpanotsava on this day. What all Rayaru has bestowed we will be expressing gratefulness. All is bestowed by him, we are not offering anything special to Rayaru. Whole thing is of Rayaru.

This years Speciality is that on the day of Aradhana Tirumalai Srinivasa Devaru has presented Silk Vastra to Rayaru. TTD,personnel came and presented. One more special thing is on the Roads of Mantralaya Rathotsava took place on the day of Uttara Aradhana. The Ratha was donated by the devotee of Bangalore.28feet height Ratha costing Rs.21/lakhs, prepared in three weeks that too for the Aradhana. This was the special attraction for this year.

Mantralaya Rayara Aradhana by various medias made it available to the devotees to witness and understand, through internet and web facility. Aradhana day a noble and divine mixing of devotees from all the parts of the country. A golden opportunity to obtain the gist of Acharya Tatvas,  that stimulates to be on the right path of Sadaachaara.
