Mantralaya-195

( The arrival of Shraavana Maasa)

Date : Aug 16 2007

Background

The arrival of Shraavana Maasa , the most dedicated divine personality of our kind Saint Sri Raghavendrateertharu, the firm faith, Bhakti, affection and the intense attention and the concentration of Bhikshaalaya Sri Appanacharya are described in Mantralaya(195).

Meaning

Owing to the continuous wind of Aashaadha Maasa the clouds in the sky float all over and thus make preparations for shower equally to all the places exhibit the symptoms of the arrival of the Shraavana Maasa. Incessant rains every where, rain water streaks will be flowing through streams, canals, rivlets and rivers. When we just look at this scene our heart throbs for our Mantralaya Rayaru. In this Shraavana only our Gururaya entered Brindavan. Though he was about to disappear from our sight permamently, he was never perturbed on the other hand with great kind concern advised us how to live and what for Sri has given birth as human beings. The devotees and audience who were present at that time and especially Adoni Nawab’s Diwan Venkanna how fortunate they were! Diwan Venkanna got the golden chance the Paramaanugraha of Rayaru to make all the necessary arrangements in Mantralaya during the time of Rayara Brindavana Pravesha. When we read the last speech of Gururaya our tears roll endless.

When all this was going in Mantralaya on the day of Shraavana Krishna Paksha Dwiteeya, our Bhikshaalaya Sri Appanacharya was not aware of all this, as he was in Madhwa Sanchara by the Will and Wish of Rayaru. When he came to know this he was shocked for a while and could not delay even for a minute, started to Mantralaya from the Japadakatti of Bhikshaalaya. The Tungabhadra was in full spate overflowing, never cared, simply walked through the river Saying Sri Raghavendra Gurustotra by Ashukavitva. It is quite heartening to know that on the day and at the time of the Brindavana Pravesha Gurustotra was composed by  Bhikshaalaya Sri Appanacharya by Ashukavitva. The great scholar, most beloved and affectionate to Rayaru. Aparokshagnyani Rayaru was carefully listening the Gurustotra of Appanacharya at that time and finally got the witness of HayagreevaDevaru Rayaru uttered from Brindavana. So devotees GURUSTOTRA is therefore so powerful and Siddhiprada. Our Krishnavadhootaru has said in Sri Raghavendra Tantra :

Appanacharya Rachitam Stotram Sarveshta Saadhakam
Yetadvina Guroho Pooja Stotram Cha Ashtakshari Japaha.

So Gurustotra is the most important to all of us. Chanting gurustotra is the pooja of Rayaru.

Here I wish to describe that Bhikshaalaya Appanacharya was experiencing the full spate of Tungabhadra and Composed :

Samsaare Akshaya Saagare Prakrutitogaadhe Sada
Dustare.
SarvaavadyaJalagrahairanupamaihiKaamadibhangaakulae
NaanaVibhramaDubhrmaeAmitaBhayaStomaadiPhenotkate
DukhotkrushtaSamuddharaGuroMaamagnaRoopamSada.

Oh Gururaya our living itself is a never ending ocean, just as in ocean there are several creatures, deadly creatures, so also in our life we are encircled. The cream of this ocean is full of false teachings Mithhyavaada - false knowledge. Suffering with all this please do my Uddhaara, very emotionally and powerfully composed by this great Pratibhavanta.

While crossing the river Tungabhadra, his heart and mind were fully surrendered to Rayaru, complete concentration to Mantralaya Rayaru Appanacharya was seeing Rayaru in his inward eyes and nothing else. His devotion was so great and high. I remember here the  concentration and attention of Arjuna. Guru Dronacharya on the day of the arrow test said here is bird on the tree and you have cut the throat of that bird through your arrows. Kuru Pandavs were standing side by side. Dronacharya asked to all. Somebody said they are seeing the tree, branches, leaves, bird etc. When Dronacharya asked Arjuna , what are you seeing? Arjuna replied that he is only seeing the throat of the bird and nothing else. That much of involvement, attention and Concentration Arjuna had. In the same way our Bhikshaalaya Appanacharya while crossing the Tungabhadra from the Japadakatte saw only Rayaru and Rayaru, that much of devotion and Complete involvement towards his Guru. So Tungamma paved the way to reach Mantralaya to this Devotee. The Strong Faith, Devotion and Affection made him to cross that full spate.

Devotees chanting Gurustotra with devotion, Remembering Mantralaya Rayaru and the Ek ShilaBrindavana of Japadakatte, Devotees having  Regards to Bhikshaalaya Appanacharya and Sondur Krishnavadhoota will always get success, Happiness and Siddhi in their life always. Rayaru is blessing his devotees. Our Mantralaya Sri Raghavendrateertharu liked this Shraavana and decided to enter the Brindavana as per the will of Sri Hari. What an ardent Aradhaka of Sri Hari is our Gururaya. So kind, merciful always Blessing and thinking about the welfare of his devotees through Miracles. Today the devotees of the universe are surrendered to Mantralaya Rayaru Mantralaya Yatiraat who has upheld the greatness of Harisarvottama and Vayujeevottama.
