Mantralaya-191

( Kind concern of Rayaru towards the devotees)

Date : July 17 2007

Background

The sanctity of Bhikshaalaya and Mantralaya and the devotees devotional qualities of seeing Rayaru through their inward eyes are described in Mantralaya(191).

Meaning

Dear devotees I have completely surrendered to Mantralaya Rayaru and feel that this birth, one Janma is not sufficient to cover and describe the whole matter of our Sri Raghavendrateertharu. My whole little effort is only the introductory preface of this Yatiraat.Several times I have visited Mantralaya still the hunger of visiting this sanctum is not satisfied. Always the heart is filled with the lurking desire of seeing Mantralaya Rayaru. The inward eyes see and fill in the heart the Holy personality of Yatiraat Gurusarvabhoumaru.Always with a mild smile (Hasanmukha Mandasmita), sitting in the Brindavana with Padmasana holding the JapaMaala, wearing the Tulasimaala always remembering Sri Hari and Whole heartedly blessing the devotees. When the devotees simply think of all this are unable to leave that place. I have always experienced like this and with a heavy heart leave Mantralaya. As Rayaru had actually lived and walked in Mantralaya and Bhikshaalaya, the most Siddhi Sanctums on the bank of the sacred Tungabhadra.

Devotees when we walk inside and see the four pillars and the roof of the Moola Brindavana on all the four sides of the border they have carved the pictures of God and at the back side of the border in the middle there is a sign of Mosque - Minar. This was carved as per the will and wish of Rayaru.Sri Guruajaru a staunch Madhwa Parama Vaishnava very dear to Sri Hari Vayu has retained the sign of the mosque on his Brindavana at Mantralaya.A GREAT  MAGNANIMUS SAINT made the gift of the Nawab of Adoni Siddi Massodkhan permanent, the donor of Manchale, it shows the religious harmony and the kindness of Rayaru as our Bhikshaalaya Sri Appanacharya has said in Mangalashtaka, Rayaru takes the Seva from all the sections of society irrespective of their caste and creed. There is no barrier of narrow mindedness:

VipraKshatraVidanghriJaatMukharanekaPrajaSevitaha

Sondur Sri Krishnavadhootaru has said in Sri RaghavendraTantra:

Yatha ShaktiyathaBhaktiSevakaanaamPhalapradam
YavanaadyaischaSamsevyamVandae.

So Rayaru has gladly accepted the gift of Mantralaya from the Nawab Siddi Masood khan. Aparokshagnyani Gururaya has fully understood the imoportance of  that place during the Prahlada Avatara the great Yaaga was performed and it was the most Siddhi success spot Rayaru selected Mantralaya desired to sit on the place where the Holy Yaga was performed.Siddi Massodkhan tried to test Rayaru and became a great devotee, simply stunned at the Miracle the non veg became fruits and flower for the Naivedya of Sri MoolaRama Devaru. The rocky bed of barren land of Mantralaya was full of devotional fertile owing to the Siddhi Bhakti and the Paramanugrha of Sri Hari. Lord Krishna and Sri Prahladarajaru have walked on that sacred soil. So Rayaru liked very much. Bichchale and Manchale became Bhikshaalaya and Mantralaya by Sri Appanacharyaru and Sri RaghavendrateerthaGurusarvabhoumaru. Appanacharya always lived together with Rayaru, did seva and found the truth of real values of devotional importance. Today Bhikshaalaya Sri Appanacharya is on the top of the list of Mantralaya devotees. There is no soul remembering Appanacharya, it means all the crores and crores of world devotees are remembering Appanacharya with affection and bent with gratitude.

What Sri Krishnavadhootaru has said in Sri Raghavendra Tantra is definitely true: Bhikshaalaya Appanaryaaya Namaha

Bhikshaalaya Appanarya Priya
GurubhyoNamaha

At a time we will be remembering the two devotional Stalwarts for our Uddhaara.

APPANARYAAYA NAMAHA

the Ashtakshara for quick Siddhi. This denotes how Rayaru was too affectionate to Appanacharya. When we are at the two kshetras Mantralaya and Bhikshaalaya we will be fully immersed in the devotional, spiritual and the Anugraha of Rayaru. Especially the JAPADAKATTE of Bhikshaalaya which is adjacent to the Holy Tungabhadra river with profound silence and immense natural gift of mother nature manifests the Sakshaatkaara of Appanacharyara’s devotion. The description of Bichchale by Sri Badadh Ramacharya who belongs to the family of Appanacharya, actually he is the sixth head of Appanacharya takes us back to the good old days of Rayaru and Appanacharya. The divya darshana of these two Kashetras impart success and siddhi in life.

Our heart will not permit to depart from Mantralaya and Bhikshaalaya when we are there. But our duty, the worldly bondage make us to return with the heavy heart. Remembering the wordings of Sri KrishnaParamatma:

Karmanyevaadhikaarastae we return.Devotees always remembering the Japadakatte of Bhikshaalaya, Rayaru sitting in the Brindavana of Mantralaya blessing and surrendered are always being protected by Rayaru. Our Sri GuruJagannathaDasaru has rightly said:

NMAMBI KETTAVARILLAVO EE GURUGALA.
