Some devotees do Seva Sankalpa Seva. They take a resolution that daily morning and evening they will perform certain number of Pradakshina Seva and also Namaskaras. Kalpavruksha, Kamadhenu Mantralaya Gururaya’s one Pradakshina of Brindavana is of more value. Aparokshagnyani and a great devotee of Mantralaya Rayaru our Sondur Sri Krishnavadhootaru has described in the Siddhi Granthha Sri Raghavendratantra:
Sri Guru Raghavendrasya Ekaikasmin Pradakshinae
Sapta Dweepa Mahee Yatraa Phalam Vindati Maanavaha.
By doing one Pradakshina with devotion and complete involvement to Rayaru We will be getting the Punya of all the Yatraas which are in Seven Dweepa - Seven islands. All the Holy and the Sacred teerthas and the places in the whole world. Devotees performing the Seva take a Holy dip in Tungabhdra, with pure heart, a Pradakshina of Sri Rayara Brindavana in Mantralaya with NINE Namaskaras will definitely fetch the Punya of SAKALA YATRA PHALA as Sri Krishnavadhootaru has described in Sri Raghavendra Tantra. It has to be experienced in Mantralaya that the manner in which the devotees perform the Seva with utmost devotion. Their Prayer, their meekness, Chanting Bhikshaalaya Sri Appanacharya’s Sri Gurustotra with great desire,completely surrendering to Rayaru, eager to get the blessings of Rayaru with the lurking hope are all worth seeing.
Our Dasa have said that the heaven has come on this earth in the form of Sri Rayaru in Mantralaya. What all things which are in the framework of Dharma, Rayaru is fulfilling and distributing the Punya to all. Sri Hari is very Kind and affectionate to Rayaru. Morning and evening the devotees ARE ENGAGED IN PRADAKSHINA SEVA. Actually they are performing the Pradakshina to Rayara Brindavana in Mantralaya. It means they are doing the PRADAKSHINA to KALPAVRUKSHA and KAMADHENU ! We are simply stunned and surprised to know that what an amount of Punya our Rayaru is having.
Mantralaya Saint accepts the Seva only from the Sajjanas and not from the wicked and the cruel. Once a man came to Mantralaya and asked where is the Brindavana? The Archakas and the devotees said, now you are standing in front of Rayara Brindavana ! Can’t you see ? He replied, no I am not at all seeing the Brindavana. He stayed for two days and two nights, tried morning and evening. But he could not see Rayara Brindavana. He returned back to his place without the Darshana of Sri Raghavendragurusarvabhoumaru. This incident took place some 35 years back. So other than Sajjanas and Satvikas will not get the opportunity of Rayara Seva. Our Dasas have sung in their Suladis that "Dushtarige Dorakidavara Seva". Only the Sajjanas will get the golden chance of Sri Rayara Seva. Those devotees who have understood the Pooja technique as per the opinion of Sondur Sri Krishnavadhootaru in SRIRAGHAVENDRATANTRA and those who are always in complete involvement towards Mantralaya Rayaru as per the GURUSTOTRA of Bhikshaalaya Sri Appanacharya, their life is really great DHANYA !
In the 26th Shloka of Sri Gurustotra Bhikshaalaya Sri Appanacharya has said:
Yad Brindavanamaasadya Panghuhu Khanjopipivaa Janaha
Stotrenaanena Yaha Kuryaat Pradakshina Namaskrutee
Sajanghaalo Bhavet Yeva GururajaPrasadataha
The devotees who are lame cannot walk properly, Chanting Gurustotra Pradakshina Seva with devotion in Mantralaya, Rayaru has blessed them the strength to walk with their legs and shaped well. So in Mantralaya the devotees different types of Sevas will make us dumb, and the wordings of Gurustotra are really true. What an amount of immense faith belief our devotees are having towards Rayaru.
Devotees Chanting Bichchali Sri Appanacharya’s Gurustotra, they will enjoy the devotional value and in their heart Rayaru is filled. They will be in the realm of:
Sri Harisarvottama and Sri Vayujeevottama, thus we are too near to our Sri Madacharya, by this great Saint of Mantralaya. A great devotee of Kosigi (Koushika Kshetra) Sri GuruJagannathaDasaru has said Pradakshina Seva with belief, faith has moulded the life of the devotees by Rayaru and made their life meticulous and said "Nambi Kettavarillavo Ee Gurugala". Sakala Yatregala Phalavu Mantralayadalli-All the Yatra Punya will be availed only by Mantralaya Yatra,because of Rayaru.This Faith will is Heaven. Surrendered to Rayaru have really found their betterment Uddhaara.Always in the worship of Sri Hari Rayaru is distributing the abundant Punya to his dear devotees like our Daanashoora Karna.
Again I like to quote the line of Mangalashtaka :
YadBrindavana SaPradakshina Namaskarabhishekastuti
Dhyaanaaraadhana Mrudvilepana Mukhanekopachaaraan Sada.
The importance of Namaskara and Pradakshina to Sri Rayaru in Mantralaya are described beautifully here. Daily crores and crores of Devotees desires are fulfilled by Rayaru, So Rayaru is Kalpvruksha.With a pure heart and mind, faith and devotion we have to perform the Seva. A divine protection to all of us.
