Meaning

Jilanabad is near the MSK MILLS. Our Jilanabad Sri Praana Devaru after a long time appeared before the Swamiji of Sri Rayara Mutt. Sri Suyameendrateertharu was the then Pontiff. (The present Pontiffs Sri Suyateendrateertharu(Junior),Sri Sushameendrateertharu Senior, His Guru Sri Sujayeendrateertharu and His Guru Sri Suyameendrateertharu.) Sri Suyameendrateertharu was performing the Pooja of Sri Moola Rama Devaru and at once Sri PraanaDevaru appeared before His Holiness Sri Suyameendrateertharu and said you are eating fine here and enjoying, I am on fast in Gulbarga-Jilanabad.No Pooja ­ No Naivedya and asked is it a justice? Then the Swamiji said Please tell me what shall I do? Suggest the remedy.Then Sri Maruti said in your Sri Mutt Sri Subbancaharya and Gangabai are in service, so send the noble couple to my Seva to Gulbarga, where I am living in Jilanabad.

As per the saying of Sri Vayuputra Hanuman His Holiness Sri Suyameendrateertharu after the Naivedya ­ Hastodaka, called Sri Subbanacharya and Sow.Gangabai, gave some money and asked them to go to Gulbarga.The couple was surprised, where is Gulbarga how to go? All these days we were quite happy in Sri Mutt Mantralaya daily taking the Darshana of Sri Raghavendrateertharu.The couple was confused and  perplexed.As per the order of the Swamiji, they came by bullock cart to Tungabhadra Railway Station- now called as Mantralayam Road.Waited for the arrival of the Madras ­ Bombay mail. This Mail Train is one the oldest train ­ now called Chennai ­ Mumbai mail. Britishers have laid this Railway line.So the couple boarded the train and reached Gulbarga at 4pm.Altogether a new place to Subanacharya. At that time there were no Cycle Rikshawas and auto Rikashawasa. Ony Tonga ­ Jataka carts were driven by the horses. By tonga Subbanacharya came to Gazipura, the Tongawala did not accept money from Achar, on the contrary the Tongawala gave one rupee and did Namaskara by touching the feet.Those days one rupee is equal to today’s Rupees one thousand. Subbanacharya stood on the road and was thinking how to go to Jilanabad from this Gazipura. In the meanwhile a Miracle happened !

Sri Krishna Paramaatma says that :

"Ananyaschintayanto Maam Yae Janaaha Paryupaasatae
Taeshaam Nityaabhi Yuktaanaam Yoga Kshemam
Vahaamyaham."

God always take care of those who always think of him. An old man came near to Subbanacharya and asked him to whom you are looking? Subbanacharya asked him where is Jilanabad ? I have to go Sri Maruti Temple there with family. Then the old man said please come with me. I will take you there as I have to go there only.The couple went along with him, the old man said the distance is about a mile, I will take your two children on my shoulder, you just follow me. Subbana told you are old it won’t look nice for me to burden you. Without hearing the wordings the old man within 21 minutes took them to the Jilanabad and left the children near the temple gate! And Said Here is the Maruti of Jilanabad.

Sri Subbanacharya and Sow. Gangabai wanted to express their gratitude for having brought them to the required destiny very safely. Immediately after a second that old man soon disappeared.They searched for the old man ­ Ajja Ajja called him but he was no where Acharya was really shocked and surprised to this incident.

Then came to the conclusion that Sri Vayuputra met His Holiness Sri Suyameendrateertharu in Mantralaya and ordered him to send to Gulbarga.The same Sri Vayuputra Hanumantha Devaru had come in the form of an old man and brought him to the Jilanabad Temple, as Acharya was a stranger.Tears rolled on the cheeks of Subbanacharya and said Sri Praana Devaru How Kind you are ! You have desired my Service ­ my Pooja ­ my Naivedya ! How lucky we are? Completely bent with gratitude and Bhakti. Sri Marutiraya ­ Sri Anjaneya ­ Sri Siddhi Maruti installed by His Holiness Sri Vyasarajaru was looking at Subbanacharya and was simply was laughing at him.
