One day Bheema and Arjuna sitting together remembered the by gone days of the great Mahabharata war of the Eighteen days. Arjuna boasted his efficiency of arrows and GAANDDEVA, for a while completely forgotten Sri Krishna and Sri Krishna Saarathhya. Actually Sri Krishna drove the chariot of Arjuna during this Eighteen Days Great war and protected at all stages. Immediately Bheemasena told you beast !what are you doing? You have forgotten Sri Krishna ,the creator, Vishnu, Sri Mann Narayana-you will become a beast.
Arjuna realized his fault, great blunder, with repentance asked his brother Bheemasena what will be the next? Bheema said do not to worry, I will be there with you, That became true. Bheemasena was born as Sri Madhwacharya - a total sum of knowledge, strength, power and divinty is our Sri Madacharya Sri Matt Anandateertha Bhagavatpaadacharyaru. Arjuna was born as a beast-Pashu-Bullock, came to Sri Madacharya and always lived by his side. During the Sanchaara the bullock used to carry the things and the GRANTHHAAS of Sri Madacharya. The bullock (Arjuna) a close associate of Sri Madhwacharyaru (Bheemasena). With all the sanctum, sacred, holy environment made the bullock to understand each and every word of Sri Madacharya. Thus heard and gained the bullock the entire knowledge and born as Malkhed Jaiteertharu Though Arjuna got the life of a beast owing to the kind Affection of Sri Madacharya (Bheema) attained Satsanga and further purified and enlightened of Hari Sarvottama and Vayu Jeevottama.
We are highly grateful to Malkhed
Sri Jaiteertharu for the commentary of all the Thirty Seven GRANTHHAAS
of Sri Madacharya.
The world will never forget this
great masterpiece.
Once the Pandits of Sri Madhwacharya were highly jealous about the bullock - as it was always near Sri Madacharya. Acharya was talking, telling and teaching. When all the great pandits are here, why our Sri Madacharya is giving so much of importance to the beast Bullock. So out of jealousy they cursed the bullock to die by the bite of the poisonous serpent. As per the curse that happened one day. At that time immediately Sri Madacharya composed Dwaadashastotra and started reciting and chanting. The bullock also started chanting the Dwaadasha stotra, when the bullock was severely suffering. Sri Anandateertharu asked those Pandits to hear the Stotra from the bullock. Owing to the Dwaadashastotra Pathhana the bullock was saved from the poisonous bite. All were surprised to see and know this ! Sri Madacharya said that in the next birth this bullock will write the commentary to all our works-Granthhaas. We Madhwaas during the NAIVEDYA we recite compulsorily the Dwaadashastotra, suppose there is poison in the Naivedya the effect of poison will not be there by the chanting of Dwaadashastotra. So this Dwaadashastotra is of great importance to the Vaishnavas, the followers of Sri Madacharya i.e.Maadhwaas.
The Akshayatrateeya is fast approaching on Sunday, the third day of Vaishaakha Shuddha.Parashurama Jayanti is also observed on this day. On this holy day chanting GANGAECHA YAMUNAECHA we have to take bath remembering Ganga Snaana with devotion. In Mantralaya Gandha Lepana to the Brindavana of Sri Gururaya and also to all the Yatis Brindavanas. The whole routine of Mantralaya Rayaru is in accordance and compliance to Sri Madacharya and Malkhed Jaiteertharu. With all this today Mantralaya Mandira is protecting the devotees, doing always good with magnanimity is nothing but the Miracle.
Dwaadasha Stotra, Suidha, Chandrika, Parimala are all the divine Gifts of Sri Hari, by the great Yatis of our Madhwa Tradition and Philosophy. Everything is in the framework of Sri Hari Sarvottama and Vayu Jeevottama. In this Punya Maasa the devotees offer vegetable salad of wet dal and lemon juice (Baleya Kosambari and Paanaka), so as to get relief from the severe summer.
We are highly indebted to Mantralaya
Rayaru, Hanuma-Bheema-Madhwa Sri Math Anandateertharu and Malkhed
Jaiteertharu.
