In Mantralaya behind the Sri Matha, on the bank of theTungabhadra river we can find this Holy Tulasi Garden. While paasing through the Holy dip in Tungabhadra we can avail the Divya Darshana of Tulasi. It is fairly popular as Tulasi Thota. In one of the famous songs of Abhinava Janardhana Vithalaru, while describing the personality of Rayaru with Gandha-Akshatae-Angaara,the Tulasi Mani’s Haara (garland) looked like the lotus flowers, is really superb. Tulasi Mani Haara is made out of the stem of big Tulasi plants. Among all the Alankaras-decorations the Alankara of Tulasi is the best. Mantralaya Rayaru regards much to Tulasi, so all the Hari Dasas have elaborately and whole heartedly described Tulasi in their songs, padas,sulaadis and ugaabhogas.

Very recently a miracle happened in
New Jersey (U.S.A) to a devotee. The devotee was driving the car on the
highway. He was changing the lanes as per the specifications of the speed.
Suddenly a vehicle came fast and about to hit. The devotee turned very
fast and followed the trailer truck. There was a distance of an inch or
so between the truck and the car. The devotee thought and felt that his
end has come now. But the Sri Hari Bhakta - Tulasi Aaraadhaka Sri
Gururaya took the care in the fraction of a second. Mantralaya
Rayaru narrowly made him to escape from the grave and tragic accident that
too on the highway. At that time Sri Appanacharya’s Gurustotra was playing
in the tape of the devotee’s car continuously. The whole thing took place
within a fraction of a second. Our Kind Mantralaya Rayaru is always alert
about his devotees and protects in a
miraculous manner. Even just thinking
about the highway makes to fear all. Rayaru without any delay rushed to
the rescue on the highway and protected his dear-most dear devotee in New
Jersey.
