Background
The miracle of Mantralaya Rayaru and
the sacred routine of my Teacher-Guru Sri R.K.Joshi are described
in this Mantralaya(107).
Meaning
I wish to share the Miracle of
Mantralaya Rayaru to the devotees, which happened thirty six years back.
It was the privilege and punya to have Sri Rangacharya Krishnacharya Joshi
(R.K.Joshi), as our Teacher-Guru in Nutan Vidyalaya High School,
Gulbarga, INDIA. A sober, satvika,bhakta. The miracle ,the incident happened
one after the other in his life time are memorable and to be recorded in
golden letters.When I heard the whole incident through his mouth, I was
simply devotional and emotional. That is still green
and fresh in my heart, that actually
takes us to the spontaneous sanctum land of Mantralaya. The magnanimity
of affection and the prerana of Rayaru are the guiding force to the devotees
to enlighten and protect.
Sri R.K.Joshi a teacher by profession
always engaged in Adyayana- Adhyaapana, performing pooja. His routine life
was glowing with sacred and sanctity. Teaching Sanskrit with witt
humour and smile enriched the Indian sanaatana culture among the students.
A stalwart among the great teachers. Taught grammar, sankrit
subhaashita, lessons with
descriptive ideas were superb, liked
by all the students and became too near and dear.
At this juncture it is proper to quote
the sentence of our great Puranadara Dasa: "Unless we become the slave
of the Guru we cannot achieve anything in life.( Guruvina Gulaamanaaguva
Tanaka Doreyadanna Mukuti)". Sri Joshi had his own identity, integrity
and personality impressed the students, satvikas and the sajjanas at large.
Searched and found the life in the philosophy and values of Sri Hari Sarvottama-in
compilation of Sri Hari Vayu Guru Anugraha. My teacher’s
Rayara Bhakti was so much that he was always feeling the divine power
and blessings, a staunch devotee of Mantralaya Rayaru.
He laid certain rules and norms of
pooja conformed and confirmed his routine to take the darshana of Rayara
Mruttika Brindavana and pradakshina-Mouna Pradakshina ( no talking while
performing pradakshina). Regularly visited Mantralaya Rayara Brindavana
at Brahmapur Gulbarga. Never cared for sun and rain. Though late never
became a defaulter to this Niyama. There was no day left without this sacred
routine. Day and night remembering the God and the divine affection. He
once prayed to Mantralaya Rayaru to give Pratyaksha Darshana. Daily he
was praying. Mantralaya Gurusarvabhouma fulfilled his desire.
One day as usual he was doing Pradakshina.
Owing to his tight schedule that day it was too late .It was 11.00p.m.while
he was doing Pradakshina, when no body was there a young lad of four years
stood near the door, smiling, looked eager to talk to Sri Joshi. Owing
to the Mouna Pradakshina Vrata, though he saw the young boy, he didn’t
talk. After the Pradakshina , Sri Joshi looked and searched for the boy
and could not find. At this late odd hour when no body is there, how this
boy alone came here? to whom he belongs? were the questions remained unanswered.
Went home and slept.
That night Mantralaya Rayaru appeared
in the dream of Sri Joshi and asked him always you requested
and insisted for Pratyaksha Darshana, when I came and stood today during
Pradakshina you never looked and talked ? what is the matter ? Owing to
the Vrata my teacher did not talk. The joy of Sri Joshi knew no bonds!
Mantralaya Rayaru how kind you are? you have given Pratyaksha Darshana,
bent with gratitude, tears in his eyes with emotion and devotion.
The wordings of Sri Appanacharya :Apaekshita
Pradaataanyo Raghavendraan Na Vidyatae. What all we desire- it is only
Rayaru who gives liberally. This is the great Miracle of Mantralaya Rayaru
gave Pratyaksha Darshana to the sober, satvika Bhakta. Really a Record
of Golden Letters.
