Why
Draupati had five husbands as explained by Sri Madhwacharyaru is
described in Mantralaya(1052). This final part of this part 3 series we
have been reading.
Meaning
In
the last series we delved into the life events of Sachi, Shyamala,
Usha, and Parvati Devi across three lifetimes. They incarnated as
VipraKanyas, then as Nala Nandini, followed by Indra Sena, with each
incarnation marked by unique life events and unfolding narratives.
In
this ongoing series, let's embark on a profound exploration of their
ultimate and concluding incarnation. We will delve deep into the final
birth of Sachi, Shyamala, Usha, and Parvati Devi, as they manifest
collectively as Draupadi. This immersive journey will illuminate the
complexities, lessons, and divine purpose that underlie their presence
in this significant incarnation
After several lifetimes of
reincarnations as VipraKanyas, Nala Nandini and Indra Sena, the final
and ultimate birth led them to become Draupadi. Within Draupadi's
being, the divine souls of Bharati Devi, Sachi, Shyamala, Usha, and
Parvati Devi were all present.
Thanks to the boon granted by
Lord Shiva, each of them finally met their destined husbands in this
life. However, due to Brahma's curse, Shiva was not able to come into
direct contact with Parvati in this incarnation. As a result, Shiva was
reborn as Ashwathama Acharyaru, while Parvati resided within
Draupadi.Within this extraordinary union of souls, all five divine
beings found their rightful partners:
- Bharati Devi within Draupadi married her husband, Vayu Devaru, who manifested as Bhima Sena Devaru.
- Sachi Devi married Indra, who took the form of Arjuna.
- Shyamala Devi was wedded to Yama, manifested as Yudhisthira.
- Usha,
the wife, united with the essence of Ashwini Devatas, transforming into
the combined presence of Nakula and Sahadeva, the twins and sons of
Ashwini Devatas.
This
divine arrangement allowed the divine souls to fulfill their destined
paths and experience profound connections with their husbands in their
final birth as Draupadi. Through the interplay of boons, curses, and
divine presence, their journey on Earth became a timeless tale of
devotion, loyalty, and the intricate dance of destiny.
Indeed,
the arrangement of the united souls inside Draupadi was nothing short
of marvelous. Within her being, Parvati chose to remain neutral, while
the other divine beings took turns becoming active depending on their
interactions with their respective husbands.
When Draupadi met
her destined husband, Bhima Sena Devaru (Vayu Devaru), Bharati Devi
would become active, bestowing her divine presence upon Draupadi.
Similarly, when Draupadi interacted with Arjuna (Indra), Sachi Devi
would come to life within her, filling her with divine grace and
virtues. In the presence of Yudhisthira (Yama), Shyamala Devi would
manifest, and when Draupadi connected with Nakula and Sahadeva (Ashwini
Devatas), Usha's essence would grace her.
The interplay of these
divine souls, each taking turns to become active as they met their
destined partners, created a celestial symphony within Draupadi's
being. This extraordinary arrangement ensured that each husband
received the undivided devotion and blessings of their respective
divine consorts, while the others remained in a state of divine repose.
Their
journey as Draupadi was a testament to the harmonious dance of destiny
and the profound spiritual connection that bound them together across
lifetimes. Their collective presence within one body showcased the
timeless wisdom of the divine and the eternal power of love and
devotion.
Acharya Madhwaru further states that, indeed, in
addition to being present inside Draupadi, Sachi Devi, Shyamala Devi,
and Usha were also born with their own separate bodies and souls in
their respective incarnations.
Shyamala Devi was born as Devaki
Devi, and Yudhisthira married her along with Draupadi, deepening their
bond of love and companionship.Sachi Devi took birth as Chitragade, and
she was wedded to Arjuna. Their union led to the well-known
Bhabruvahana story, showcasing their trials and triumphs on their
divine path. Usha, in her individual incarnation, was born as
Jarasandha's daughter. She married Nakula and Sahadeva, becoming an
integral part of their lives and contributing to their remarkable
journey.
These divine souls, along with their unique stories and
individual relationships, enriched the epic Mahabharata with their
devotion, love, and resilience. Their presence and influence extended
beyond Draupadi, adding depth and complexity to the tapestry of the
great epic, leaving a lasting impression on the hearts and minds of
those who heard their divine tales.
Draupadi Devi, a radiant
soul, shines brightly in the celestial tapestry of the Mahabharata.
Lord Krishna, drawn by her pure devotion, found a special place in His
heart for this beloved devotee. Thanks to the enlightening efforts of
Achar Madhwaru, the intricacies of the Mahabharata have been unveiled,
like a majestic flower unfolding its delicate petals. Through this
wisdom, even the simplest among us can now savor the profound teachings
held within.
Many reader have asked the question of why Bhima
Sena Devaru didn’t win the Drupati Marriage competition instead Arjun
did, we will cover this in one of next series in detail
Having
absorbed this newfound knowledge, we are blessed with a noble duty—to
gently guide those who speak carelessly about Draupadi. With love and
patience, we will help them recognize the magnificence of her character
and the invaluable lessons she embodies. By sharing this deeper
understanding, we aspire to foster a world where reverence and
admiration flow towards the sacred figures of the Mahabharata.
