Background

Meaning

Tungabhadra river is equal to the river Sarayu of Ayodhya in greatness and sanctum. Hampi the forgotten empire of Vijayanagara,we call as the holy and sacred  Pampakshetra. Owing to all this we can find  Navavrindavana like an island, in the Tungabhadra river. The Quantum of  punya of Nine Dwaita Yatis in one place for our Uddhhaara in the midst of mother nature’s greenery , the cool and soothing effect of the flow of Tungabhadra,  Sri Rudra Devaru and Sri Hari are in this Pampakshetra. The world famous temples of  Sri Virupaaksha  and Sri Vijavithala  are the witness for the Sanctum.

The Foreign Visitors Paes and Nuniz have praised and appreciated the wealth and the prosperity  of the Vijayanagara Empire is recorded in the History. Though the Empire is ruined and perished,even after five hundred years , the belief among the invaders that still there is wealth hidden in the Temples of India.

The  remains of  the invaders detail the whole pathetic story of  havoc and panic. It is quite paining that for the sake of wealth several holy temples, idols and worshipping spots are demolished. In the same way to our misfortune the Brindavana of  Dwaita Peetha Sri Narahariteertharu, the third pontiff of Sri Madhwacharya was ruined by the miscreants,
recently a few years ago. All the devotees, satvikas,sajjanas and swaita Yatis worried with great concern.

The protection was sought. A policeman was posted to guard the Navavrindavanas round the clock. The police guard did the watch and ward with utmost honest and devotion. He camped in that Navavrindavana on the bank of the Tungabhadra and never cared for the cold in night and sun in the day. With devotion the police guarded the sanctum. After a week one fine morning the police was surprised to see that all the Nine Yatis  appeared in the Tungabhadra river in Navavrindavana.The police guard with devotional and emotional ecstasy did saashtaanga Namaskara.Stood and saw Navavrindavana.

It is heartening to note that the Nine Yatis were highly pleased   for the honest duty of the police and Blessed him a lot. What an amount of punya the policeman has achieved, that he got the darshana of not one but all the Nine Yatis gave darshana.Sri Vyasarayaru the previous Avataara of Mantralaya Rayaru also one among the Nine Yatis to Bless a lot.

So it is quite clear that Yantroddhhaara Praana Devaru and Navavrindavana are full of Sacred and Holy to the Satvikas. Thus with all this the gorgeous forgotten empire Vijayanagara is really PAMPAKSHETRA Center of divinity, purity and sanctity. Our dwaita Yatis pleased for the honest duty and blessed.
