The concluding part of Ibharamapura Darshana and how Appa lead the life in accordance with the sadachara of Sri Madacharya and the propagation of Sri Harisarvottama and Sri Vayujeevottama are described here
Ibharamapura’s Appa has always responded the call of his devotees and never became a defaulter. I will be coming means coming. Never missed. Always kept up his words and promises. Once the kulkarni of Manvi came to Ibharamapura met Appa and requested to grace the Madhwanavami celebration at Manvi. Kulkarni requested so much that Appa could not refuse the invitation. Appa said yes. I will definitely be present there by 12 noon, under any circumstances and where ever I may be! With this kind assurance kulkarni happily went to his native Manvi.
Manvi is situated in dist:Raichur,Karnataka-India. Kulkarni made elaborate arrangements for the Madhwa Navami. Owing to the arrival of Appa a huge number devotees gathered in Manvi. Already Appa has agreed to Madhwa Navami to a different place. But even then agreed the invitation of Manvi.
On the day of Sri Madhwa Navami large number of devotees were eagerly awaiting the arrival of Appa. The usual programmes went on. pravachana, paraayana, Acharya Stotra Namavali, pooja, naivedya, hastodaka and mangalarati. When all these things were concluded it was 12:noon,but there were no symptoms of the arrival of Ibharamapura’s Appa. Some were actually waiting at the outskirt of Manvi to welcome Appa. At that time kulkarni worried a lot. For Anna Santarpana all have come and only Appa had not come! Kulkarni immediately remembered the wordings of Appa, that at 12:noon, I will definitely be present where ever I am ! Thick fragrance of Sandal oil, kasturi and smell of scent and perfume covered the whole celebration. All were asking each other what is this! The fragrance came from the pooja room.Kulkarni entered the pooja room. Surprised to see a great serpent knodding the hood.Kulkarni gazed with devotion. Extremely felt happy to see the face of Appa on the hood of the serpent. Kulkarni’s joy knew no bonds. He knew that Appa is attending some other function in a different far off place. But even then kept up the promise and had come and graced the function of Sri Madhwa Navami. Others rushed to the pooja room but the serpent already disappeared within no time. The huge gathering simply made the jayakara of Ibharamapura Appa and expressed their nobility, devotion and gratitude. Always attended the call of his devotees and Appa was always sannihita there. Here we are amazed to see the promptness of Appa. Showed the miracles to help the satvikas and upheld Sri Harisarvottama and Sri Vayujeevottama.
Lived on the sacred bank of Tungabhadra. Lead a meaningful life always helping the satvikas and proved the greatness of : Mantralaya Sri Gurusarvabhouma, Gaanadhaal Panchamukhi Sri Hanumanthadevaru,Sri Harisarvottama and Vayujeevottama. Appa lived upto eighty years.Aparokshagnyani came to know the end of his life. Spent two days in at the sanctum of Panchamukhi. Then Appa came to Mantralaya took the darshana of Kuladiva,Aradhya Daiva Sri Rayaru Sri Raghavendra Gurusarvabhouma’s Divya Brindavana. As our Bichali Sri Appanacharya has said in Rayara Mangalashtaka:
RangottungaTarangaMangalakaraSriTungabhadraTata
PratyasthaDwijaPungavaalayalasanMantralayakhyapurae
NavyendropalaNeelaBhavyakaraSadbrindavanantargataha
SriMatSadguruRaghavendraYatiraatKuryatDhruvamMangalam
Appa came to know that this is the last darshana of Rayaru. Gazed the Brindavana with great devotion and expressed his gratefuless for the Anugraha of Mantralaya Rayaru. Ibharamapura’s great acharya Sri Krishnacharya Krishnarya Appa left Mantralaya with a sankalpa that he has to obey the order of Sri Hari and his avatara had come to an end. Reached Ibharamapura visited all the loved places of Ibharamapura, attained complete ripeness and breathed his last breath on 1869 AD,Shravana shuddha trateeya.
Appa’s family people Vamshashtaru are still in Mantralaya. They daily visit Ibharamapura, their house, property and the sanctum of Appa’s Platform(Appa’s Katti).Only three miles from the sacred Mantralaya. We also find the Katti of Achchamma, the wife of Appa. After the completion of Appa’s Katti, Achchamma appeared in the dream of her Vamshashtaru and asked them to construct the Katti near the Appa’s Katti. As per the prerana of Appa Sri Yogi Narayanacharya daily engaged in the making of Appa’s statue, carevd with great devotion performing the parayana of Sri SuMadhwaVijaya. At the top of the Appa’s Idol he also carved a murty of Sri Gopalakrishna and also installed there. A close associate of Appa Sri Yogi Narayanacharya also had his Katti there near by. In Ibharamapura we can see today all these three in one place only. When we look the greatness of Appa We really feel happy and proud about the shloka of Sri Vyasarajaru:
TungambodhiTarangasyaVaatenaParishobhitae.
Appa had attained the complete Anugraha of Panchamukhi
Maruti and Mantralaya Rayaru.
Dear devotees we are grateful to Appa and bent with gratitude to the compliance of Sri Madacharya philosophy. Appa’s sarvaswa was blossomed by Mantralaya Rayaru. In the Mantralaya Series I now conclude the sacred series of Appa with gratitude. Devotees we have to visit Ibharamapura which is only three miles to Mantralaya and realise the Mahima of Mantralaya Rayaru and Appa.
